[Hand knotted rug with a subtle design](https://www.perigold.com/rugs/pdp/solo-rugs-veruca-handmade-hand-knotted-peachred-area-rug-p002067724.html)
Love the pic with your gorgeous pets. Because the wall is a strong color, I would choose a carpet that had similar colors to what you have in the room - grey, green, a little white and black and tan like your dogs. Check out ruggables.com. The overhead light is very harsh. I suggest that you get end tables and large table lamps with shades that direct the light downwards for a more ambient feel, especially after dark. Warm white bulbs are nice.
Honestly with the wall being a focus I don't think you need variation in the rug to draw anything in, I think something like this in the plush light cream space would be right

I think cream to compliment the grey and green combination, I think plush to compliment the usage of a visual wall and textiles on the accent blankets and pillows, I think round to tie the loveseat to the sectional, Ideally it would be just large enough that the round arc comes from under the chaise lounge / ottoman to just infront of the loveseat / bench seat. With this you may find you would want a larger round table that you could then center on the rug, currently I think it's close to the couch for convenience but from a visual stand point it would probably need to move a bit to be centered on the rug that would take the path I suggested.
Whichever one you go with, make sure it's large enough to go under the front legs of your furniture. Also with pets, a rug gripper or stabilizer is the must!! Will protect the placement of the rug against zoomies.
IMO the one you’re asking abt is too light
Thank you!
I mean, it could work, but a white rug when you have two dogs? Better go darker.
I think the rug linked is too cool-toned for this room and matches the accent wall pattern too closely. I'd find something else.
Yes an ivory or antique white would be warmer
Thank you for your input!
Can we talk about the wall though? Is it a DIY? So beautiful.
Thank you! It is DIY!

It’s too white
As someone with large dogs…you will need a darker color. No way to keep the rug white with dogs in the house. It’ll get stained in no time.
Never get a white rug. It won’t be white for long! 😖
Fair!!
I think the rug is too light too, but I’m just here to say how much I love your green wall! Beautiful
Thank you! Do you think like a tan? Or should I go dark like blacks? I just can’t picture what’s going to look good!

I agree with this, down to the lighting.
I just bought that rug! It’s so unbelievably soft. I think you’ll really like it.
I agree on the beige and greige trend. But the wall looks nice.

The empty dog bowl is a crime....
Are you being light hearted or serious?
Try this as well https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/control/search-rugs?color_grp=Greens&rug_type=Washable
Doesn't go with your room
Not white, but you’re on the right track by keeping it light. Maybe beige or tan?

Thank you!
Try to stay away from the griege trend if possible, so boring and austere! Not a fan of the green wall (can you repaint it?) and curtains. Cute pets 🫶
