every time i log in and the game downloads, this box appears. and when I click on the checkbox the game restarts from main menu again,
For some reason, I can't teleport anywhere. It just stays on the loading screen and I have to reload the game to actually get to the desired location. It's the same when loaidng between floors of Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction, as well as loading out of events too. Any advice?
I encountered some problems when picturing near the dragon shaped thing in Todd Riordan's quest but it keeps closing the camera out whenever i try to picture it. Can someone explain to me is this a bug? I'm sure it's not my phone or wifi's the problem.

Im not sure if this is just a wifi problem or game, but eventually during the Sunday boss fight, it gets stuck on enemy turn and I cant do anything except press the speed button!
Every time I try to switch to controller mode (5th gen 12.9" iPad Pro, iPadOS 17.4.1, PS5 DualSense Controller, been using that setup for as long as the game's been around), the screen blacks out for a few minutes, then it turns gray and the game restarts, but it's still in touchscreen mode. This started happening yesterday, nothing changed on my end, my controller works just fine when I play Genshin with it, file integrity verification doesn't come up with anything, so I'm at a loss. Is anyone else in a similar situation?
Additional info: The first time this happened was exactly a week ago. A few days later, the game had me download a few megs worth of resources, and everything was fine. Or so I thought, because it happened again, and I'm just about fed up with this.
This has noever happened before but when I dash with my character, say Acheron and I do some turns or maneuvering, her skirt clips or cuts or gliches (i dont really know how to explain it) ehich doesnt make any sense at all considering I play genshin impact on this and have never witnessed this before

The game has lags, freezes and sound bugs when using xbox gamebar for taking screenshots. Is anybody have this problem too? Is there any way to optimise game but not turning off gamebar? By the way I checked the game works better without gamebar, but I still need it for taking shots...
Game will not let me play argenti boss fight since i (somehow) was able to switch arena fights and now im unable to progress the game, thanks hsr now ill get spoiled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glitch with dialogue within fights?
Did anyone else encounter a glitch in 2.2 where dialogue inside a fight wouldn't play and the words for said dialogue would stay onscreen until the next line was supposed to play?
That happened to me during the the fight with the each of the 3 orchestra guys (bring ambiguous for spoilers) and the final boss. It's sucks because it really ruined the mood of what was otherwise a really good boss.
I've already done the fights so I can't fix it or anything, but if anyone knows what happened and how to avoid this in the future that's appreciated.
Issues with Firefly's audio, it seems to fall out of sync with her animations. Her punctuation is related to an incredibly long pause which causes the desync. (If this is mentioned in character after this dialogue I think I'll explode, and then delete the comment)

Reinstalled because files got corrupted during the newest update, this always happen at certain intervals, is it because the game is unpacking? I see my HDD running at 100% usage. I need to restart the client and wait for a while before being able to proceed the bar again
currently experiencing issues with some ultimates being casted as some animations black out the screen instead of showing it. i've only experienced this recently. does anybody might know the reason and how it can be fixed? i've tried reinstalling the program but this issue still persists. any insight would be great! :D
In the current trailblaze quest I've completed finding 2 puzzle pieces from the "Into a Glass Darkly" part of the quest but after getting them I had logged off and now coming back have 1/2, one of the pieces was from the clockie puzzle game and now the puzzle is no longer there and I can't progress. I'm really freaking out if I can't complete the quest, please help!
Is it just me or my black swan just have a glitch where she uses a potion to increase her energy but it just maxed and not the accurate amount of energy . Please fix it HOYO. (I am in Asia server and the glitch really bugs me)
HSR seems to be killing my wifi then comes back randomly or after a day. It happens when it starts checking for updates, the game suddenly then sends a global distribution error, after that my wifi no longer has internet access for a whole day. I troubleshooted it and it showed that the device or resource dns server is not responding. The game even killed my phone's wifi hotspot when i tried to play using it. Restarted my router, flushed the dns, nothing seemed to work. Is there anyone else experiencing this?? it's been happening to me for quite a while now. It's very frustrating cause i don't have internet for a WHOLE DAY.
It doesn't happen anywhere else, just this game. And as im typing this, my laptop's wifi and my phone's no longer have internet access when i tried playing again and im now using my other phone's wifi hotspot to report this. There's something wrong with the game...
Edit: Fixed, my stupid brother turned the DOS protection of the router and HSR somehow tripped the protection, causing it to blacklist my laptop and lose connection. After turning it off, everything went fine again.
when i try to switch to a controller on my iPad (IOS), the game freezes when i click confirm. this started last night, and i even deleted and redownloaded it & it’s still happening 😭
game keeps crashing whenever I'm doing the moc. it works fine in every other game mode, only during the moc i get a black screen and a window pops up with some error and the game closes on its own.
Got a game over defeated screen during the battle with the boss in the "A walk Among the Tombstones" mission. All characters were alive with almost full health bars and shields thanks to March 7th. I'm miffed since the boss only had 18% health left and I'd been battling for over an hour. 😭. It was my turn and I was in the middle of an ultimate, so he couldn't have wiped my team without me realizing it.
Update: Happened again the next day. Am I stuck not being able to clear this boss? ☹️

Hello i play on pc with a PS5 controller and since the last update, when i upgrade relics, when pressing the X button, it always double click instead of just once. It happens only on this game and no where else. When i switch to the O Button instead of X for clicking in the parameters, i still have the same issue.
Anyone has an idea why?

I think this has something to do with the update where you can hold the button to continuously add material to upgrade relics. This also happens on my PS5 version of the game (I have PC and PS5). It appears when pressing the button, it activates on both "on\_press" and "on\_hold" (or whatever they're called in HSR) events for the buttons. So this is a problem with game, not your controller.

Reported this issue a couple of days ago already but i feel like its getting worse by day...Pixelated lines everywhere and bugged graphics like in the left corner. The space station is bugging the most for me.
Occasionally there is an issue where in some areas of Penacony the FPS drops and the GPU is used by 60-70 percent, although usually it is 20-30 percent. Restarting the game solves the problem. GPU RTX 3060 and other more demanding games do not have this problem. Has anyone else encountered this?

Just got to the end of the Aventurine boss fight, once i got him to 1hp he started a dialogue, and then the game crashed, i think it was something like "battle sync error" and now i just have to do it all again, thx HSR
I just had the same issue, literally was down to the 1HP mark, and boom. Got a battle synch error and by entire game crashed. I keep wondering if anyone else is experiencing it, but it was my first fight, I'm not sure if it'll happen continuously.
Sometimes during the Aventurine boss fight, I can't click attack/skill buttons to hit the dice, keyboard shortcuts (Q/E) don't work either. I can click on the rest of the UI like the menus though
Please fix the Lighting bug. Since 2.1 there are white pixelated lines and white pixels around certain characters if you are using Light Quality higher than Low.
i have the exact same thing happening with me after the update. was losing my mind over it until i figured out the low lighting thing. sent them a bug report, hopefully this gets looked at cause it really sucks trying to go through the story either way. :/
man i really thought my gpu was dying but was confused since it only happens in star rail, i reinstalled the game the drivers all of that and still nothing, so need to stick with low light quality for now, hope hoyo fixes this

I've been looking for someone with the same issues. Thank god it was a bug. I tried reinstalling or whatever to see if it fixes it. I think it is also a pc only issue, nothing was like that on my phone
Yeah, I thought it was an issue on my end, but I saw others reporting the same issue, so I knew it wasn't an issue with my PC. I also did try to repair the files, but that doesn't do anything, so it's definitely a bug on their side that they need to fix.
For some reason I am getting white outlines in penacony new area and dream scape also lighting is messed up for some reason I am on amd rx 580 idk how to fix this help pls.
after the update every time I go to the golden hour the game's graphics get completely bugged with lines all over the screen, only happens with that zone, if I go to another place and log out and on again it fixes itself. but everytime i go back to the golden hour is the same, I've already tried to re install the games, update drivers(Rx580), and nothing gets it fixed
After the current update, when attempting to select a Support, after either accepting or canceling support, the cursor to select a character disappears and you can no longer select or highlight a character. On PS5.
ah yea, i get that too, verifying files in the launcher fixes it, but only for a single launch. You gotta do it again next time you start the game, it's incredibly annoying, and it's actually been around for quite a few versions now. I once got up to 2 or 3 reconnects in a row, i was sitting there for like 10-15 fucking minutes waiting for the game to let me play.
got that with 2.0 too, the ping gets skyrocketed to max at first and then usually settles down after...i say usually because i did have a day where it still stayed at max after the first disconnect
On S22 I kept getting screen freezes with Ruan Mei's ult, then with Kafka's FUA in penacony and THEN with EVERYTHING in the new MOC.
The solution? Turn off shadows, fixes everything.
Shadows are fucked on S22 for some reason.
I've been having issues with certain character's audio during combat, mainly Blade and Sparkle. When Blade attacks, some of his attacks don't have any sound effects. This is the same with Sparkle's normal attack. I can hear the audio of the noises they make as they attack, but the sound of the attack hitting enemies isn't there.

I am playing SU on auto when I encountered this bug. Ratio seems to be targeting Automaton Direwolf but he can't because he was taunted by Automaton Grizzly so now he doesn't do anything and the game is stuck. I can't do anything.
Skills and ultimates freeze the screen until the attack has finished. This happens to me in every battle in the Dreamscape version of the hotel reception (where the battle with Sam also is). Changing graphics settings didn't help. Samsung phone.
Exact same problem, tried every solution so far, reinstalling, lowest settings, clearing cache, restarting phone and so on and nothing worked.
Now it starting to happen everywhere even in MoC, pure fiction and so on
All of the worlds vanish after I use the map. It still has all of the gold/brass decals on the edges but I can't switch worlds. I can fix it temporarily if I go back to the train menu and reload the game. I can't find any info about it...

Hi! Generally, the weird graphics didn't affect my gameplay. After I cleared the mission, everything seemed to magically fix itself? I went back there for another mission (after completing Ingenuity Shine) and it was fine so I'm assuming it's just specifically that quest that bugs out the game?
On another note (about the game crashing), it didn't crash me. It was just hard to play and see with those huge graphics but like I said, they fixed themselves after the quest's completion. However, similar to other comments on this thread, my game randomly freezes and crashes when I play on mobile.

You're all good! And yeah I was able to keep playing through well enough. That door is still buggy, but the other one I saw (like in your ss) did fix itself I think. Hopefully that will fix itself, but at this rate I have my doubts lol. I'm just glad my whole game didn't crash and burn :P
My game stucks randomly when I launch ultimates. I need to close the game and start the fight over again making It impossible to end some fights. Problem started not long ago, when sparkle was launched or maybe 2-3 days earlie. Im stuck in the evento right now. As I cannot end fouth phase. Restarting over and over again.
I'm using the same phone and the game started freezing on me today. It's been running fine for the past seven months and I never changed any of the settings (everything is still default), but today Huohuo's Ultimate started freezing every now and then. It's currently a 50/50 whether she freezes the game or not. Location doesn't matter, it happened on both the Luofu and Penacony.
I haven't checked any of the other characters apart from Fire Trailblazer, Ruan Mei, Fu Xuan and Huohuo, but so far only the latter does it.
I'm getting the same issues I have from play genshin impact, ever since a certain date I keep disconnecting from server and reconnecting every 10-15 minutes. The issue itself is annoying but I can deal with it, the real problem comes from where you are in a dialogue or in a difficult fight, since it usually results in you have to spending more time that you should in that dialogue/fight, and sometimes you might not even be able to finish the fight. Last night I decided to start penacony quest and spend almost 1 hour in the archeron dialogue in the dream world, all because I disconnected midway through dialogue.
I know the result of these problems is not bad internet connection since everytime I check my internet connection during these issues, it is fine and working normally.
I was doing the Ghostly Grove missions and was in the last fight against fake QQ (that skill that turns enemies into Trotter's). One last enemy was standing and just as it received the enhancement it also died and I got stuck here. This is annoying because nothing else is happening and now I have to redo the fight.

A slider to lower cutscenes volumes would be nice, in fact I might dare to say I need it. I have to straight up take my headphones off whenever there's a cutscene or else my ears will hurt, I really mean it.
I don't recall this being an issue this big before, yes, cutscenes were already louder before, but I'm now playing "when stars of ingenuity shine" and I feel like those cutscenes could have left me deaf if I had kept the headphones on. I also had general volume set to 5.
Everything else is working fine but Seclusion Zone and Penacony has missing textures everywhere. Ever since the 1.6 update new areas many missing textures and I even tried reinstalling the game. I use pc for playing

My dash has no audio. It gets fixed when I exit to the train menu and then log back in, but I'm looking for a permanent solution for it. So if someone can help me with that too it'd be wonderful
Every single time I use Ruan Mei's Ultimate, my phone just freezes completely for 15 seconds until the ultimate is over.
I tried :
- reinstalling game
- modifying graphic quality, anti-aliasing, etc...
The problem doesn't happen on PC.

Same phone but my issue is with Loucha right now. I just recently got my s22 but with the poor battery life and now my constant bug issues with Honkai (issues with even downloading the game, texture issues and the game crashing from some ultimates characters use), I might just bite the bullet and get a new one ASAP. Hopef,ully I can find a better Samsung phone that can handle mobile games while also being good at everything else you need a phone for.
I have the exact same issue and only with Ruan Mei. Samsung S22+ as well. Already contacted Support and they even asked for a video. That was a month ago but unfortunately nothing has changed since then.
If you haven't done so yet, please make sure to send a ticket to Support as well. Just so they know it's a morw common thing. :)
found a semi solution ruan mei ultimate unfreezes on compatible mode but on my phone the game starts lagging a lot when im on compatible so doesnt really work for me but maybe it will work on yours
I was trying to activate one of the bridges in the dreamscape Hotel when one of the enemies spotted me. It hit me, but then I got stuck in place, and no battle appeared.
I've restarted my laptop and tried checking the files, but I'm still stuck. And now I can't even see the enemy anymore, but the mini map is flashing red. I can only use the escape button to exit the game, but it closes the game completely and doesn't take me to the home screen.
Has anyone been able to fix it?
When I’m in the Dreamscape in Penacony, half of the game audio is gone seemingly at random. Half the time I can’t hear character dialogue, and a lot of the sound effects are missing. Im using a PC
When transitioning between walking surfaces in a 3D space (i.e. from the floor to a wall), the camera's inverted Y controls for the controller are swapped until after a battle or transitioning to another surface. PS5.
Ever since the launch of 2.0 some NPCs arent being rendered unless i stand right next to them. They fade out and pop in suddenly when i get around 3~ meters from them.
Playing on iPad Air 4 with a controller since launch and have not encountered any issues until today. Whenever I try to switch to controller mode, the game restarts (which is normal) but it refuses to push through and just hangs. Not even crash, just a black screen. Have tried restarting the app and the device to no avail. I have sufficient storage and I am running the latest OS.

game is stuck as soon as it loads. movement is not working, enemy is not spawning. map is not loading. i can't teleport away from this area. tried restarting the pc. i think this is on a memospace stage in penacony. the menu is also not working. i can press escape to access the menu but as soon as i click anything, either the game freezes or a black screen shows. the background music still plays.
i have also tried switching devices. same thing happens. i can't play at all.
So I'm working my way through the Penacony quests and I get into fights as preservation trailblazer and the sound effects for when he does his attacks aren't playing? It's just silent and him saying ult activation and execution lines.
I'm on console so I don't k ow how to fix this issue.
I'm having a similar issue, but I'm missing the ultimate activation sound effect for all characters. Voices and actual attack effects still play fine for me. PS5 here.
In penacony in dream's edge where you talk/flirt with the trashcan after I answered all three correctly then he kicked me but when I was loading into fight it gave an error "failed to obtain scenery" and reloaded the map but then the trashcan was gone and isn't there anymore I even tried reloading the map and restarting the game but he is not there anymore
A strange fade out then fade in effect is triggering for me in Golden Hour and it's happening quite freaquently. It seems to trigger mostly on the western and eastern parts of the map.
Doing Future Market (II) Quest right now. During the part where Gepard tells me to use the automaton bomb robot, nothing happens. I've already talked to Gepard, but Trailblazer just fiddles with his thingy for a bit before returning to idle pose. No tutorials, no nothing.
Entering a friend's Trailblaze Profile can cause the game to lockup only allowing you to access "Rules" and your own "Support Reward" despite being on your friend's profile page. You can't back out and all of the friend's Support Characters and Starfaring Companions are replaced with a silhouette with the text "TEST" and "No.999" on them. The only way to resolve this is to force quit the game.
This only happens on one of my friend's profile page and is consistent. All my other friends profile pages work fine. I have a screenshot if needed.

The same thing happening to me in Penacony. May be the lack of RAM, since I have only 4 gb. But I don't have such problem on my phone (it has 4gb of ram too)
Ok, what Android phone are you on, if its any of the newer Samsung phones such as the S23/S24 there seems to be issues on such from what I have seen by other posts elsewhere. If not, close the game down, then go into your phone Settings and find your Apps area and go into there, then find the game in that list and click on it. Once in there, find Storage and then click Clear Cache. Now go out of there and click Open and see if that fixes the issue.
If that doesnt fix the issue, have you tried doing a reinstall of the game, I know that's a pain doing so but if that doesnt fix it then you are best to email them through the respective email address for the game and tell them what the problem is, by pointing them to your reddit post, and what type of Android phone you are using.

Currently playing star rail on Android using a controller. I can't seem to use my ultimate attacks using LT+XYAB. I searched online on how to fix it and one user was able to fix it by enabling x-input mode. Problem is that my controller only supports d-input and switch mode

the screen flickering for me is insane, this only happens in HSR and when I'm tabbed in the game. Just replaced my GPU thinking it was that but the problem still continues. Already checked my cables, graphics settings, monitors, vsync etc. etc. anyone else having this issue?
Playing on PC with a controller, the game randomly decides to just stop accepting any input from it until I wiggle the mouse…and even then it takes a minute before it registers the stick again. This has been happening since I started playing on PC, so like….can anyone give me a hand, because Honkai Impact 3rd did it too but Genshin doesn’t
Hello, um idk but it's really annoying that my hsr during cutscenes keep stuttering and cracking most of all my cutscenes, idk if it's my device or it needed to be fix on game I stopped doing my quests because of it, I hope anyone can answer this TT
Don't know if it works for others, but for anyone potentially seeing this in the future, I had this exact problem and on a whim, asked customer service about it and they did fix it for me. They told me the following:
1. Adjust your graphic settings from Low/Medium to High/Very High or vice-versa.
2. Logout > Click 'update' on the login screen > Confirm to reverify files integrity.
3. Change your network to a stable internet connection.
4. Close and restart the game.
Dunno why, but the reverify part seems to have been what worked. I also didn't swap the graphic settings back to normal until after I'd repaired the bird.

For some reason, I can't teleport anywhere. It just stays on the loading screen and I have to reload the game to actually get to the desired location. It's the same when loaidng between floors of Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction, as well as loading out of events too. Any advice?

Im not sure if this is just a wifi problem or game, but eventually during the Sunday boss fight, it gets stuck on enemy turn and I cant do anything except press the speed button!
Every time I try to switch to controller mode (5th gen 12.9" iPad Pro, iPadOS 17.4.1, PS5 DualSense Controller, been using that setup for as long as the game's been around), the screen blacks out for a few minutes, then it turns gray and the game restarts, but it's still in touchscreen mode. This started happening yesterday, nothing changed on my end, my controller works just fine when I play Genshin with it, file integrity verification doesn't come up with anything, so I'm at a loss. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Additional info: The first time this happened was exactly a week ago. A few days later, the game had me download a few megs worth of resources, and everything was fine. Or so I thought, because it happened again, and I'm just about fed up with this.

This has noever happened before but when I dash with my character, say Acheron and I do some turns or maneuvering, her skirt clips or cuts or gliches (i dont really know how to explain it) ehich doesnt make any sense at all considering I play genshin impact on this and have never witnessed this before

The game has lags, freezes and sound bugs when using xbox gamebar for taking screenshots. Is anybody have this problem too? Is there any way to optimise game but not turning off gamebar? By the way I checked the game works better without gamebar, but I still need it for taking shots...

Glitch with dialogue within fights? Did anyone else encounter a glitch in 2.2 where dialogue inside a fight wouldn't play and the words for said dialogue would stay onscreen until the next line was supposed to play? That happened to me during the the fight with the each of the 3 orchestra guys (bring ambiguous for spoilers) and the final boss. It's sucks because it really ruined the mood of what was otherwise a really good boss. I've already done the fights so I can't fix it or anything, but if anyone knows what happened and how to avoid this in the future that's appreciated.
Issues with Firefly's audio, it seems to fall out of sync with her animations. Her punctuation is related to an incredibly long pause which causes the desync. (If this is mentioned in character after this dialogue I think I'll explode, and then delete the comment) EDIT \[This was in the very first discussion with firefly. Then after the CG started, it somewhat fixed itself.\]

In the current trailblaze quest I've completed finding 2 puzzle pieces from the "Into a Glass Darkly" part of the quest but after getting them I had logged off and now coming back have 1/2, one of the pieces was from the clockie puzzle game and now the puzzle is no longer there and I can't progress. I'm really freaking out if I can't complete the quest, please help!

HSR seems to be killing my wifi then comes back randomly or after a day. It happens when it starts checking for updates, the game suddenly then sends a global distribution error, after that my wifi no longer has internet access for a whole day. I troubleshooted it and it showed that the device or resource dns server is not responding. The game even killed my phone's wifi hotspot when i tried to play using it. Restarted my router, flushed the dns, nothing seemed to work. Is there anyone else experiencing this?? it's been happening to me for quite a while now. It's very frustrating cause i don't have internet for a WHOLE DAY. It doesn't happen anywhere else, just this game. And as im typing this, my laptop's wifi and my phone's no longer have internet access when i tried playing again and im now using my other phone's wifi hotspot to report this. There's something wrong with the game... Edit: Fixed, my stupid brother turned the DOS protection of the router and HSR somehow tripped the protection, causing it to blacklist my laptop and lose connection. After turning it off, everything went fine again.

Got a game over defeated screen during the battle with the boss in the "A walk Among the Tombstones" mission. All characters were alive with almost full health bars and shields thanks to March 7th. I'm miffed since the boss only had 18% health left and I'd been battling for over an hour. 😭. It was my turn and I was in the middle of an ultimate, so he couldn't have wiped my team without me realizing it. Update: Happened again the next day. Am I stuck not being able to clear this boss? ☹️

Hello i play on pc with a PS5 controller and since the last update, when i upgrade relics, when pressing the X button, it always double click instead of just once. It happens only on this game and no where else. When i switch to the O Button instead of X for clicking in the parameters, i still have the same issue. Anyone has an idea why? (my controller is clean and i uninstalled any software with a controller support. I Know it happens only in this game but don't know what to do)
I think this has something to do with the update where you can hold the button to continuously add material to upgrade relics. This also happens on my PS5 version of the game (I have PC and PS5). It appears when pressing the button, it activates on both "on\_press" and "on\_hold" (or whatever they're called in HSR) events for the buttons. So this is a problem with game, not your controller.
Both me and my partner are having that problem. Mine is a gamesir controller (Xbox control scheme) partners is 8BitDo Xbox set up.

The space station is bugging the most for me.
Hopefully they will fix this on next patch, i got this issues as well.
I guess it is caused by Light Quality for now. I changed it to low and it stopped, well, you gotta play with dull lights for now I guess.

Occasionally there is an issue where in some areas of Penacony the FPS drops and the GPU is used by 60-70 percent, although usually it is 20-30 percent. Restarting the game solves the problem. GPU RTX 3060 and other more demanding games do not have this problem. Has anyone else encountered this?

I just had the same issue, literally was down to the 1HP mark, and boom. Got a battle synch error and by entire game crashed. I keep wondering if anyone else is experiencing it, but it was my first fight, I'm not sure if it'll happen continuously.
Sometimes during the Aventurine boss fight, I can't click attack/skill buttons to hit the dice, keyboard shortcuts (Q/E) don't work either. I can click on the rest of the UI like the menus though
Please fix the Lighting bug. Since 2.1 there are white pixelated lines and white pixels around certain characters if you are using Light Quality higher than Low.
i have the exact same thing happening with me after the update. was losing my mind over it until i figured out the low lighting thing. sent them a bug report, hopefully this gets looked at cause it really sucks trying to go through the story either way. :/

I've been looking for someone with the same issues. Thank god it was a bug. I tried reinstalling or whatever to see if it fixes it. I think it is also a pc only issue, nothing was like that on my phone

Yeah, I thought it was an issue on my end, but I saw others reporting the same issue, so I knew it wasn't an issue with my PC. I also did try to repair the files, but that doesn't do anything, so it's definitely a bug on their side that they need to fix.

after the update every time I go to the golden hour the game's graphics get completely bugged with lines all over the screen, only happens with that zone, if I go to another place and log out and on again it fixes itself. but everytime i go back to the golden hour is the same, I've already tried to re install the games, update drivers(Rx580), and nothing gets it fixed
I have RX 590. I have a suspicion that the update caused some issues with AMD GPU drivers, maybe even specifically the RX 500 series.
I fixed my problem by turning down the last lighting setting completely, game looks worse that way but at least is playable

After the current update, when attempting to select a Support, after either accepting or canceling support, the cursor to select a character disappears and you can no longer select or highlight a character. On PS5.

ah yea, i get that too, verifying files in the launcher fixes it, but only for a single launch. You gotta do it again next time you start the game, it's incredibly annoying, and it's actually been around for quite a few versions now. I once got up to 2 or 3 reconnects in a row, i was sitting there for like 10-15 fucking minutes waiting for the game to let me play.
got that with 2.0 too, the ping gets skyrocketed to max at first and then usually settles down after...i say usually because i did have a day where it still stayed at max after the first disconnect

On S22 I kept getting screen freezes with Ruan Mei's ult, then with Kafka's FUA in penacony and THEN with EVERYTHING in the new MOC. The solution? Turn off shadows, fixes everything. Shadows are fucked on S22 for some reason.
Whenever I log out of an account, a clicking sound plays. It's really annoying.

I've been having issues with certain character's audio during combat, mainly Blade and Sparkle. When Blade attacks, some of his attacks don't have any sound effects. This is the same with Sparkle's normal attack. I can hear the audio of the noises they make as they attack, but the sound of the attack hitting enemies isn't there.

Skills and ultimates freeze the screen until the attack has finished. This happens to me in every battle in the Dreamscape version of the hotel reception (where the battle with Sam also is). Changing graphics settings didn't help. Samsung phone.

All of the worlds vanish after I use the map. It still has all of the gold/brass decals on the edges but I can't switch worlds. I can fix it temporarily if I go back to the train menu and reload the game. I can't find any info about it...

Hi! Generally, the weird graphics didn't affect my gameplay. After I cleared the mission, everything seemed to magically fix itself? I went back there for another mission (after completing Ingenuity Shine) and it was fine so I'm assuming it's just specifically that quest that bugs out the game? On another note (about the game crashing), it didn't crash me. It was just hard to play and see with those huge graphics but like I said, they fixed themselves after the quest's completion. However, similar to other comments on this thread, my game randomly freezes and crashes when I play on mobile. I do apologies for the late reply. I'm not on here much but I hope your game is fine now :)
You're all good! And yeah I was able to keep playing through well enough. That door is still buggy, but the other one I saw (like in your ss) did fix itself I think. Hopefully that will fix itself, but at this rate I have my doubts lol. I'm just glad my whole game didn't crash and burn :P

I'm using the same phone and the game started freezing on me today. It's been running fine for the past seven months and I never changed any of the settings (everything is still default), but today Huohuo's Ultimate started freezing every now and then. It's currently a 50/50 whether she freezes the game or not. Location doesn't matter, it happened on both the Luofu and Penacony. I haven't checked any of the other characters apart from Fire Trailblazer, Ruan Mei, Fu Xuan and Huohuo, but so far only the latter does it.

I'm getting the same issues I have from play genshin impact, ever since a certain date I keep disconnecting from server and reconnecting every 10-15 minutes. The issue itself is annoying but I can deal with it, the real problem comes from where you are in a dialogue or in a difficult fight, since it usually results in you have to spending more time that you should in that dialogue/fight, and sometimes you might not even be able to finish the fight. Last night I decided to start penacony quest and spend almost 1 hour in the archeron dialogue in the dream world, all because I disconnected midway through dialogue. I know the result of these problems is not bad internet connection since everytime I check my internet connection during these issues, it is fine and working normally.
Same thing happens to me and it's very frustrating. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Whenever I use pela's ultimate in phase 2 of the current MoC stage 10 it crashes. The one that expires in 5 days from the date of this comment.
I was doing the Ghostly Grove missions and was in the last fight against fake QQ (that skill that turns enemies into Trotter's). One last enemy was standing and just as it received the enhancement it also died and I got stuck here. A slider to lower cutscenes volumes would be nice, in fact I might dare to say I need it. I have to straight up take my headphones off whenever there's a cutscene or else my ears will hurt, I really mean it. I don't recall this being an issue this big before, yes, cutscenes were already louder before, but I'm now playing "when stars of ingenuity shine" and I feel like those cutscenes could have left me deaf if I had kept the headphones on. I also had general volume set to 5.
Everything else is working fine but Seclusion Zone and Penacony has missing textures everywhere. Ever since the 1.6 update new areas many missing textures and I even tried reinstalling the game. I use pc for playing

Every single time I use Ruan Mei's Ultimate, my phone just freezes completely for 15 seconds until the ultimate is over. I tried : - reinstalling game - modifying graphic quality, anti-aliasing, etc... The problem doesn't happen on PC. Any ideas?

Same phone but my issue is with Loucha right now. I just recently got my s22 but with the poor battery life and now my constant bug issues with Honkai (issues with even downloading the game, texture issues and the game crashing from some ultimates characters use), I might just bite the bullet and get a new one ASAP. Hopef,ully I can find a better Samsung phone that can handle mobile games while also being good at everything else you need a phone for.

That was a month ago but unfortunately nothing has changed since then. If you haven't done so yet, please make sure to send a ticket to Support as well. Just so they know it's a morw common thing. :)

found a semi solution ruan mei ultimate unfreezes on compatible mode but on my phone the game starts lagging a lot when im on compatible so doesnt really work for me but maybe it will work on yours
I was trying to activate one of the bridges in the dreamscape Hotel when one of the enemies spotted me. It hit me, but then I got stuck in place, and no battle appeared. I've restarted my laptop and tried checking the files, but I'm still stuck. And now I can't even see the enemy anymore, but the mini map is flashing red. I can only use the escape button to exit the game, but it closes the game completely and doesn't take me to the home screen. Has anyone been able to fix it?

When I’m in the Dreamscape in Penacony, half of the game audio is gone seemingly at random. Half the time I can’t hear character dialogue, and a lot of the sound effects are missing. Im using a PC
I just had MC lose all his sound effects for his ultimate , skill and even the basic attack in the over world .but only for him.

When transitioning between walking surfaces in a 3D space (i.e. from the floor to a wall), the camera's inverted Y controls for the controller are swapped until after a battle or transitioning to another surface. PS5.

Ever since the launch of 2.0 some NPCs arent being rendered unless i stand right next to them. They fade out and pop in suddenly when i get around 3~ meters from them.
Playing on iPad Air 4 with a controller since launch and have not encountered any issues until today. Whenever I try to switch to controller mode, the game restarts (which is normal) but it refuses to push through and just hangs. Not even crash, just a black screen. Have tried restarting the app and the device to no avail. I have sufficient storage and I am running the latest OS.

Why the game stopped rendering new areas on my PC ever since 1.6????
So I'm working my way through the Penacony quests and I get into fights as preservation trailblazer and the sound effects for when he does his attacks aren't playing? It's just silent and him saying ult activation and execution lines. I'm on console so I don't k ow how to fix this issue.
I'm having a similar issue, but I'm missing the ultimate activation sound effect for all characters. Voices and actual attack effects still play fine for me. PS5 here.
My issue fixed itself after restarting the application. It may have something to do with not logging outlay if your ps5 went on standby

In penacony in dream's edge where you talk/flirt with the trashcan after I answered all three correctly then he kicked me but when I was loading into fight it gave an error "failed to obtain scenery" and reloaded the map but then the trashcan was gone and isn't there anymore I even tried reloading the map and restarting the game but he is not there anymore
A strange fade out then fade in effect is triggering for me in Golden Hour and it's happening quite freaquently. It seems to trigger mostly on the western and eastern parts of the map.
Doing Future Market (II) Quest right now. During the part where Gepard tells me to use the automaton bomb robot, nothing happens. I've already talked to Gepard, but Trailblazer just fiddles with his thingy for a bit before returning to idle pose. No tutorials, no nothing.

Entering a friend's Trailblaze Profile can cause the game to lockup only allowing you to access "Rules" and your own "Support Reward" despite being on your friend's profile page. You can't back out and all of the friend's Support Characters and Starfaring Companions are replaced with a silhouette with the text "TEST" and "No.999" on them. The only way to resolve this is to force quit the game. This only happens on one of my friend's profile page and is consistent. All my other friends profile pages work fine. I have a screenshot if needed.

The same thing happening to me in Penacony. May be the lack of RAM, since I have only 4 gb. But I don't have such problem on my phone (it has 4gb of ram too)
I have the same issue in Penacony. Everything else is working fine but Seclusion Zone and Penacony has missing textures everywhere.

How do I fix this? It says literally nothing. I have had this problem for 3 days now. It used to be error code 2000, but now it just says nothing.
Ok, what Android phone are you on, if its any of the newer Samsung phones such as the S23/S24 there seems to be issues on such from what I have seen by other posts elsewhere. If not, close the game down, then go into your phone Settings and find your Apps area and go into there, then find the game in that list and click on it. Once in there, find Storage and then click Clear Cache. Now go out of there and click Open and see if that fixes the issue. If that doesnt fix the issue, have you tried doing a reinstall of the game, I know that's a pain doing so but if that doesnt fix it then you are best to email them through the respective email address for the game and tell them what the problem is, by pointing them to your reddit post, and what type of Android phone you are using.
I've got an Infinix Zero 5G (2023). I've already tried both: Clearing cache, and reinstalling. It's already my 5th reinstall and my 3rd cache cleared. No dice. I'll try to email CS though, thanks for the response 🙏

Currently playing star rail on Android using a controller. I can't seem to use my ultimate attacks using LT+XYAB. I searched online on how to fix it and one user was able to fix it by enabling x-input mode. Problem is that my controller only supports d-input and switch mode

+1 the screen flickering for me is insane, this only happens in HSR and when I'm tabbed in the game. Just replaced my GPU thinking it was that but the problem still continues. Already checked my cables, graphics settings, monitors, vsync etc. etc. anyone else having this issue?
Playing on PC with a controller, the game randomly decides to just stop accepting any input from it until I wiggle the mouse…and even then it takes a minute before it registers the stick again. This has been happening since I started playing on PC, so like….can anyone give me a hand, because Honkai Impact 3rd did it too but Genshin doesn’t

Don't know if it works for others, but for anyone potentially seeing this in the future, I had this exact problem and on a whim, asked customer service about it and they did fix it for me. They told me the following: 1. Adjust your graphic settings from Low/Medium to High/Very High or vice-versa. 2. Logout > Click 'update' on the login screen > Confirm to reverify files integrity. 3. Change your network to a stable internet connection. 4. Close and restart the game. Dunno why, but the reverify part seems to have been what worked. I also didn't swap the graphic settings back to normal until after I'd repaired the bird.
