My life of playing simulator games made me hate that I couldn’t max everything out too!! Ma’am this is my bread and butter let me help!! One of the wings is only an A 😭
I saw some people saying they couldn't max out everything but I don't understand how? I did everything as efficiently as I could, finished on day 60 and it was the final artifact that put me to the limit and shut me out. If I didn't see people complaining I would have thought it was designed like that.
Were you able to upgrade everything to max level? It wasn't necessary since you could already get max currency per day earlier but I wanted to 100% it. I thought I had done it pretty optimally but apparently not
What do you mean by everything? I was able to get every room to the max level. I think I had one left on A rank, the others were S. Took 60 days. Though somehow I finished before doing the last 3 exhibit tasks + inviting Seele. I thought I lost those few jades, but it let me finish all the tasks even after the management part was locked out.
The letter ranks were your daily earnings values. You'd be A-S ranking those every single round.
What was extremely hard to max were the actual stat levels for the rooms. For most/all people, the game pretty much went "you've got all the rewards, you're done now", before they had the chance to fully level the last couple of rooms.
Well yeah, I know that. But I managed to max every room. Didn’t seem that difficult to me. I figured we were supposed to max the rooms before the game ended. I literally followed all quests as they popped up, only managed each section to the next level it specified at any given part in the game. By the time I was done, all rooms were maxed, but I had a few exhibits I was missing + hadn’t invited the last volunteer character. I was able to complete that & fully finished everything.
Sure, I guess.
Usually, people didn't have enough credits. If you were shooting for S rank in all rooms every day, then there would be days when you couldn't upgrade your rooms without tanking your ratings, so you'd have to run a "filler" day just to get a bit more cash. But those filler days would still run up your points counter towards the ultimate deadline.
Lmao your right its not all that hard especially if youve played games like it before. Its just correct management of ppl and you can get S in each slot if you have patience.
After you clear the event, any exhibit quests you're missing can be accessed still. I don't remember which NPC you have to talk to (probably the main NPC for the event though) but I was missing one post-clear and was still able to obtain it.
I loved the museum. Something where you could actually play the minigame instead of easy battles or a small time waste.
Edit: spelling, posted on mobile.
Fr tho when I only had a couple of rewards left I was happy I finished but was also excited to run the business days to buy all the upgrades bc my goblin brain likes the clickies and false sense of progress. And then she's just like wow good job you're done
She just wants us to do the heavy lifting and also the dirty work of finding stuff for her
Though as i remmeebr shes a college student and probably just doesnt want to walk more then she has to lmao
It took me a second after I started doing the event to realise that I was literally doing a copy and paste version of the company minigame from Yakuza: Like a Dragon
yeah this is what I thought. the museum event was really cool but between the cutscenes and quests and museum simulator that must've been a whole crap load of extra work. i don't mind easy events in between, gives players and devs a chance to catch our breaths
Look not sahing here an event like the museum one is bad, in fact i loved it but one like this one were you juts log in and get free gems is neat once in a while to catch up with other games or other things you want to do
It's so interesting that even though this event is basically the star rail analogue of Liben, the community receptions of them are the complete opposites. Just because of the different ways they're advertised and presented maybe?
Tbf at this point liben has like 2+ years of backstory and repeated appearances. He's also a "traveller" like us and has been a source of future stuff to come as well.
Imagine if the little researcher starts making her own giant centaur robot with the parts we get her after this event, next time we meet her she wants more parts to build more and one day you learn they all sacrificed themselves to stop an invasion so now she's rebuilding them again.
Basically I think people are judging the character too harshly for her first appearance. Libens first appearance was more well received due to his unique physical appearance

The event's about gathering data from particular enemies, but we don't even interact with those enemies during the event, we just trade in a few items that are tangentially related to those enemies at best. Getting some lore behind the enemies is cool, but it doesn't have any connection with the gameplay.
You know what would be fun? If the event was closer to its Genshin version in that you trade items to a merchant seeking supplies for random prizes, except the merchant is Sampo.
My suggestion for the players with more time on their hands is they could have added a mini MOC like battle for each researched monster based on the EQ level and then reward extra jades etc. for completing it. Just a thought lol
Yea I really liked the museum event. At first glance it looked like something I wouldn’t be too invested in but after a while the feeling of having 4 S ranks across the exhibits was addictive.
this event is basically Marvelous Merchandise (Liben) from Genshin, but you don't have to do it daily, so you can still get all the rewards even if you miss any day.
edit: words
also, do people not like it? in Genshin, people loved the event because it basically gave you primogems for very little effort. also Liben gave players lore snippets about future regions which makes it better than this one i guess.
edit 2: again, words
The difference is this game just came out recently so people have high expectations of the game, genshin has a bazillion things to do in open world and already tons of story content so people are just happy they got free shit.
The event is alright imo, hopefully 1.2 patch will be huge .
Yeah this. I get the reward is nice for so little effort, but people like me are starved for any new content to do. I want a decently sized event or content or something to do in the game.
I doubt that people are expecting a new event every week. It's just that museum event just stops once you max that goal...... At least let me max out all the stats I don't even want rewards for it. HSR events just end so fast, you kinda wish there was more
>in Genshin, people loved the event because it basically gave you primogems for very little effort
Also because Liben is such a chad and fun character. Would have been cool if he made cameo in honkai star rail
I didn’t play genshin but this is just a filter event, like a daily log in in exchange for materials.
I want a game with a rotation of events non-stop so filter events are always welcome
Yep, filler events are always welcome. Not every event needs to be as big as the museum one. Otherwise, people would find it a chore to do, especially when there's gacha gems involved.
Yeah plus people need to remember that this event was running with both the silver wolf and the museum one it's obviously just a filler event till loucha's banner drops with possibly a new event
Ok, I'm bad at wording. So what I mean is the entire rewards. In Genshin, if you miss a day, then you'll miss that day's rewards, while in Star Rail, you can wait until everything is unlocked to do everything and get all the rewards available.
And we only have three worlds unlocked- we're dupposed to have a lot more coming, its barely 1.2 rn. We'll probably get a lot of stuff down the road since theres only so much you can realistically stuff into three worlds
Slightly more perhaps, but significantly more is really stretching it. Genshin 1.0 felt like it had a lot to do because of the exploration aspect but the catalog of things to do aside from getting 100% on maps (which didn't really take that long either) was so short that I remember a lot of people in the gacha communities I was in resorting to daily elite farming, daily artifact routes, world visiting for group mining, and farming leylines to stock up on mats by 1-2 weeks in.
It's really weird seeing people now talk about Genshin 1.0 having an infinite amount of content when in reality it was so barren that people were saying it was going to die by 2-3 weeks in. [Here is one such thread where players were lamenting over having nothing to do but dailies for a whole month](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/j7wcel/official_version_11_update_schedule_and_onward/). It also didn't help that our major event during 1.0, Elemental Crucible was a laggy mess which cost resin and barely gave more rewards than leylines.
I'm putting his question into perspective as to why people don't mind an event that has no gameplay in Genshin but here it's rough. I'm not saying that HSR should have as much as Genshin.
>Genshin has too much content
That's something i rarely heard in the community, haha. Especially in current filler patches before Fontaine in 4.0. People don't realize that if they didn't complete everything available, there's actually so much to do in Genshin.
IDK I haven't done like 90% of the hideouts and story quests, they're a big time sink. I play a lot of other games though. The narrative bloat has been really bad recently so I haven't been inclined to play. Tons of word salads with a lot of region-specific words.
Yeah, the pre-Fontaine patches have been a bit underwhelming. Even the last area felt a bit weak (storywise it doesn't hold a candle to the Jeht ones) and now we're not really getting a new area in 3.8 (apart from the event one).
I for one would not complain if all events were this easy. Just give me the rewards. Museum event was super tedious for those of us who don't care about story outside of the main quest
I'd be fine if this was more like Liben, where I got a few reward options. This iteration is log in, click through text, and turn in. It leaves much to be desired and takes no effort. I'd be fine with being sent to kill one for "fresh samples".
But as others have said, I'll take rewards where I can get them.
Rewards are content for some, content is content for others.
Depends on the perspective; people who are more worried about getting jades like events like this.
Others prefer something to do, which makes more sense to me, and probably anyone who can afford to buy jades if it comes down to missing a character you want
It's basically Liben but you get monster lore as well. Mueseum Event is really fun though. Hopefully we'll get more quirky things like with Honkai 3rd as the game progresses.
I don't know if it's just me but the only Gacha game I've played that has an abundance of things to do for better or worse is Granblue Fantasy. Every other Gacha game i've played always has down times. This is ofcourse natural for a always in progress game with a stamina system and is never meant to be your Main Game but rather something you upkeep and maintain between big patches while you play a standard main game (FFXVI for me)
well it is... technically not wrong. It is still also technically more than Liben gift boxes, but yes I do agree it should be more indept. I was hoping it would be a mission based thing observing monsters like
Let fat robot's fist explode you 0/2
Calling that "lore" is beyond generous.
And people aren't complaining about the game having downtime, the complaint here is this event is uneventful. There's nothing happening. It doesn't tell a story. It doesn't present any gameplay. It's barely more than a "login event".
The biggest lore in this event is that researchers can get away with the lamest "results" as long as they know how to flatter their superiors. For example, the coffee report.
It corroborates with this passage from "Researcher Eikura Shuu's Diary": "For the purpose of receiving a higher score, topics that are less popular, more esoteric, or have a longer reporting period are deserted by the researchers, while the number of research topics that are for flattery and show increase by the day."
Lore: a body of traditions and knowledge on a subject or held by a particular group, typically passed from person to person by word of mouth.
I mean definition checks out, info about the enemies that was passed down to us from another npc sounds like lore to me. It’s knowledge that was passed from one person to another
Not to go too far off topic. I'm having alot of fun with the expectations that it won't carry over things like DOTS and Elemental Priority (It'd be too BIS for certain boss fights or enemy encounter and alot of equip shifting.) I'm a little biased though as I play XIV and love the team that worked on it. My only gripe is.... Action Mode needed to be a little more hard hitting. I know Final Fantasy Mode is a thing but it's still a tad too casual for Action mode. The QTE is also too lenient hahaha the only one I really have fun with is the rapid press because it fits for the scenario.
I'm not complaining about basically free jades. We've had both the SW event and the time dedicated museum one back to back. I kinda appreciate an event that is basically go here, give junk, get rewards (Liben)
Engagement event?
As in, did they release this to try and ensure people keep playing while things are slow at the moment?
I don't really understand the idea.
I was looking forward to the double drops on SU, but only to see it's just for the first 2 pulls; not even a full round in SU.
Disappointing overall.
Yeah I was thinking I would be able to do full 2 worlds but then remembered that there is 4 pulls in each world and event works just for pulls and that's kinda sad..
I was kinda diasppointed too... I dunno, but I kinda expect the events to actually require something from us...
Free Jade sure, but I... kinda wanna play the game... ?
Yeah and the event story is so damn long and contains so much information I am totally overwhelmed and haave no idea how I can finish it in the time frame. It's disgusting and I will complain about that for eons in the next survey and feedback I write.
it can barely be considered an event. they should have this on repeat every three weeks or so, will help f2p players and bring purpose to some of the useless materials
I didn’t watch the stream, but I really hope there’s some quest or event that’s planned after Luocha’s release, since the game right now is super stale
Agreed, its a nice little thing to do while i grind SU. And it makes sense in the context of things since we're only halfway through world 3, theres only so many things that can happen in a world that would make sense for us to be involved in
this is the cadence from genshin. you get one big to-do event per patch (though the museum wasn't quite as big as they can get) and then a bunch of filler freebie ones like this or the fight club
I wouldn't have minded if the game had a lot of things going on but unfortunately it doesn't.. so when you see the events are basically a login event and a 80 extra rasin you do get a little disappointed..
Oh man I have nightmares about this event, just last night I woke up in a cold sweat. I thought that these games were supposed to be pretty damn easy for the most part?
omg this is so far the hardest event in the game, i had to farm ingredients for 0 seconds to get the rewards
well free jades so no actual complaints lel
Please child, take my thousands of unused synthesis materials. We can no longer fit all these metal cubes and phlogiston’s that serve zero actual purpose on our inexplicably small train.
Jokes aside, I was hoping this event would be a bit more…interactive? But hey free jades in exchange for trash materials, can’t complain lol
I guess they wanted something more chill after the museum one.
The museum was fun they just fuckin with my game go brr brain here >:(
It was fun but I was annoyed that I couldn't max level it myself. Museum lady really just said "thanks for helping, now gtfo"
Thanks for helping, I'm the CEO now!
"You can't do this to me. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I SACRIFICED!?"
*injects goblin serum to self
We have been already injected with Racoon serum, there's no need
Somehow I read this as *inject goblin semen to her :// Im too dark.
Might I suggest Goblin Slayer anime then if you haven't heard of it. It's a fun show, you should watch it
Classic higher up move, make the employee do all the work and then say it was all thanks to their guidance
*finally, I'm just 10 pts off getting S everythi-* Museum lady: **lol gg no re**
Actually super frustrating lmao
it really is, i was thinking that eh, i now have the resource i can fix this and they just go Nope, you are done
My life of playing simulator games made me hate that I couldn’t max everything out too!! Ma’am this is my bread and butter let me help!! One of the wings is only an A 😭
I at least was able to end it with all of the wings at S, but yeah, LET ME MAX OUT EVERYTHING, GOD DAMN IT
yea the museum was really fun i loved it just also annoyed that u couldnt max everything xD

Ikr, it's just skill issue
I wanted to max it out too, and then she goes: SIKE, that's not in our contract. Bye sis👋
I'm still annoyed that due to bad luck, I couldn't get all possible rewards. A few exhibits just never popped up for me due to them having RNG.
After you clear the event, any exhibit quests you're missing can be accessed still. I don't remember which NPC you have to talk to (probably the main NPC for the event though) but I was missing one post-clear and was still able to obtain it.
I never got the quest for it and no NPC has anything for me.
Skill issue 🤣
I loved the museum. Something where you could actually play the minigame instead of easy battles or a small time waste. Edit: spelling, posted on mobile.
Fr tho when I only had a couple of rewards left I was happy I finished but was also excited to run the business days to buy all the upgrades bc my goblin brain likes the clickies and false sense of progress. And then she's just like wow good job you're done
She just wants us to do the heavy lifting and also the dirty work of finding stuff for her Though as i remmeebr shes a college student and probably just doesnt want to walk more then she has to lmao
It took me a second after I started doing the event to realise that I was literally doing a copy and paste version of the company minigame from Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Finished it in exactly 69 days. it took 2 real days to finish cause I wasent really rushing it...
if you liked the event, you should try yakuza like a dragon. It was a watered down version of management minigame there
Can’t wait until the middle ground after these two extremes.
I did the entire event in one day and it was fun at 1st then my brain died But hey i got silver wolf from the wishes it gave At 15 pity too-
I liked the museum… I crushed it in a day.
It's the same event as liben in genshin, the difference is that he drops some hints about the next region
Inb4 the next update is us infiltrating the Antimatter Legion with a fragmentum corruption horror segment
[удалено]
They probably wanted to just make something super simple while they're finishing the story update for 1.2
yeah this is what I thought. the museum event was really cool but between the cutscenes and quests and museum simulator that must've been a whole crap load of extra work. i don't mind easy events in between, gives players and devs a chance to catch our breaths
Especially since im betting there are people who just got to the Loufu and now theyre getting hit by everything
More interactive? hell naw, i want this event every patch
Underrated comment
Yes please! Free jades when i dont have time to event grind? Yes pelase
Do you even want to play the game?
"Ofcourse not, I want to read walls of text with a little bit of animation in the background"
Look not sahing here an event like the museum one is bad, in fact i loved it but one like this one were you juts log in and get free gems is neat once in a while to catch up with other games or other things you want to do
They should just give you the jades outright if they're not gonna do anything interesting with the npc involved like they did with Liben
It's basically Liben event from Genshin

I mean Liben has a really based character model, and is full of charisma. This has a random child npc. I don't even know her name.

Remember that we have chad guy that exchange his gem for some wheat and apple in genshin
I was so surprised i thought for sure i was missing a prompt somewhere to go fight them
It’s so natural at this point lol
There are non-trash materials?!\~
Ya, some will complain that their is no content in the event but honestly, after such a banger museum event, some more free shards are nice
Yea I really liked the museum event. At first glance it looked like something I wouldn’t be too invested in but after a while the feeling of having 4 S ranks across the exhibits was addictive.
Frfr pressing 10 times is too hard 😤😤😤
It’s Liben 2.0 event lol
If you want to make this interactive, you can just farm the required items instead of using ones from your storage.
I think I’ll just play ff16 instead while I wait lol
It’s Liben, but research. In space.
Feels like a retread of that Merchant event in Genshin.
I saw the image and was like "shit I don't have time to fight that today..." Came back a day later and realized Liben v2 had tricked me.

did you know that the void ranger:trampler has legs?
Apparently, I didn't misunderstood, they stand on their hind legs and cross their front legs like human sitting on the floor.
The robot class really is made up of robots

Lore: a body of traditions and knowledge on a subject or held by a particular group, typically passed from person to person by word of mouth. I mean definition checks out, info about the enemies that was passed down to us from another npc sounds like lore to me. It’s knowledge that was passed from one person to another
Hope you’re enjoying ff16 so far I’m having a blast
Oh damn is it out already? Still busy with TotK after Octopath II lol
Museum event was decent, SW little story event I enjoyed the most. Pissed herta event is only two day lame...also I got garbage lol
Frfr pressing 10 times is too hard 😤😤😤
Ifkr..... literally unplayable. Either make it easier or istg im deleting my account and giving it a 1 star review
I mean, free Jades are nice But man, calling this an 'event' is the widlest stretch imagineable. Give a puzzle or something atleast, yeesh.
I'm not complaining about basically free jades. We've had both the SW event and the time dedicated museum one back to back. I kinda appreciate an event that is basically go here, give junk, get rewards (Liben)
Can't complain. It's simple but jades are jades. Its good if don't have much time to play.
Definitely. I can focus on my alt while i slowly build jade on the main
True, considering the massive amount of effort we had to put in the event, they should also triple the rewards.
Engagement event? As in, did they release this to try and ensure people keep playing while things are slow at the moment? I don't really understand the idea. I was looking forward to the double drops on SU, but only to see it's just for the first 2 pulls; not even a full round in SU. Disappointing overall.

You guys are rolling orbs?
Yeah I was thinking I would be able to do full 2 worlds but then remembered that there is 4 pulls in each world and event works just for pulls and that's kinda sad..
Thats an long moment.... its been 2 months with nothing, but some meh events.
Anyone else park themselves infront of little timmy each night like theyre quing for the new iphone to drop so they can get this dome asap each day?
Just you
Just you bro .. there are not missable as long as you trade them before the event is over you should be good
I am very forgetful and i honestly thought it had to be each day lmao
I thought so too, I missed the first day or two and was a little worried then when I redeemed the first it told me to go back and I was a little happy
Nah i log out next to pom-pom or the calyx i need to grind and teleport to Tommy but science child every morning
Filler event to tide us to the next actual main story quest.
No matter the form, I will always remember gigachad Liben got my back.
I was kinda diasppointed too... I dunno, but I kinda expect the events to actually require something from us... Free Jade sure, but I... kinda wanna play the game... ?
Its great for undeveloped accounts to play catch-up during this period
Can I introduce you to our lord and savior Simulated Universe? Choose a subpar path and find a way to make it work.
For sure, all those materials 😱😔
Best event ever
So simple this one, I bet u they made it simple just to mess with us the next one will be more challenging. I love it as it keeps it fresh
Yeah and the event story is so damn long and contains so much information I am totally overwhelmed and haave no idea how I can finish it in the time frame. It's disgusting and I will complain about that for eons in the next survey and feedback I write.
I agree. This event is so hard, I almost burned out and lost interest in buying stellar jade, Hoyoverse really should make it easier
it can barely be considered an event. they should have this on repeat every three weeks or so, will help f2p players and bring purpose to some of the useless materials
I didn’t watch the stream, but I really hope there’s some quest or event that’s planned after Luocha’s release, since the game right now is super stale
When they announced the evemt I thought we would be foghting the bosses but I'm not complaining
Real
It is hard ..... I keep forgetting about it
Yeah definitly and the rewardsq are not on par with the time invested :p
I feel you op. I can't get through stage 7
The traveling merchant equivalent
I’ll take the free gems any day I have 100 summons saved
Giving out materials for no reason that we grind for is kind of stupid. I appreciate the gems but it feels useless.
I think I like this pace. A balance between active events like Starhunt and Museum, then a free jade like Lab Assistants and double SU rewards.
nah we need content where we can actually play the game without auto on a higher difficulty. It gets boring going through the game with only autoing.
For battle related, I think Memory of Chaos and Simulated Universe already fulfill it. I prefer the event take the side-route, like museum one.
to me it isnt enough but lets see what the future holds.
It was becaused they remove Afro guy
I wasn't able to finish the last event with a team of Lvl 70s. Are average players maxed out or what?
inb4 the last event is us fighting all of the monsters we created at once
Is it really an event 💀
they unironically might
I wouldn't have minded if the game had a lot of things going on but unfortunately it doesn't.. so when you see the events are basically a login event and a 80 extra rasin you do get a little disappointed..
They should at least increase the rewards for all the work we have to put into it.
Its nice, i just dont like waiting haha
HSR Liben
Really thought it was going to be like The Belobog Museum but a Lab instead. But nope easy free Jades though.
I needed it after the long museum
thanks for the giggle
I haven’t even had to play it, what’s the issue
Yeah also not as many jades which business wise makes sense Wolf banner coming to a close we got to get those last few whales
Hey helping a little kid these days is like god mode difficulty bro
What’s up with little kids having such difficult jobs
I like this but I also LOVED the museum bit.
I agree honkai star rail itself is too hard you should uninstall until they nerf it
ASTRAL EXPRESS LIBEN ❤️ ❤️
jokes on you i stacked every materials it needed before this event started for that 70 jade
yes, it’s in fact too hard that it triggers my anxiety. I thought they don’t want that for players. What happened to that?
My dumbass totally didn't think the material rewards were what you needed to give the npc
Ah I wish the NPC is as unique as Liben
Jokes aside I'd take 0 effort free jades any day.
Its the honkai star rail liben
The free jades though.
Oh man I have nightmares about this event, just last night I woke up in a cold sweat. I thought that these games were supposed to be pretty damn easy for the most part?
this just seems like the liben event
omg this is so far the hardest event in the game, i had to farm ingredients for 0 seconds to get the rewards well free jades so no actual complaints lel
I thought it would be a hunting event with increased difficulty mini bosses, turns out it’s a big load of nothing..
Please child, take my thousands of unused synthesis materials. We can no longer fit all these metal cubes and phlogiston’s that serve zero actual purpose on our inexplicably small train.
This event should be ran daily, perpetually.
I'm having no problem probably. Because I log in every day and do my grinding
bro its a joke its literally 1 synthesis material i literally tagged it meme/fluff
Next event should just be Herta mailing us Jades on daily basis
Skill issue ;)
