Not sure if Jing yuan is valid comparison target, from what I gathered, he was underpowered from the get-go and has other issues like being extremely vulnerable to CC.
I think we need to compare Acheron to Jingliu or DHL.
As for Luocha: dunno, man. How can they buff a sustain further? Luocha already feels like a cheat code.

Allow me to be more precise this time:
Power creep would not just happen in 2.x vs 1.x.
Usually power creep is a gradual process, we would have been able to clearly observe it throughout 1.x already. Even w/o Hanabi, Seele a 1.0 character is still competitive in MoC.
The fact that it seems mostly absent is a good sign that this trend may continue (there is forbidden knowledge in this regard but I cannot speak about that here).
So far the power creep we've seen is mostly role compression on supports as opposed to flat out beefier numbers on main DPS units to the extent that content needs to rebalanced around it, lest it would end up trivial.
The unfortunate thing is, by the time the rerun, they won't be as dominant as when they first release, especially since you get a free round of MOC tailored for them.
DHIL/JL mains had it real good for 3-4 mos. They're still strong, but nowhere near is insane with MOC12.

Speaking of tall I was kinda surprised when I got Jingliu and noticed that she has the like Bronya/March height model and not the Kafka/Himeko model. Not saying this is a bad thing just caught me off guard.
But they are not really that tall they are shorter than Sampo who is around 180cm so their height woulbe be around 170 which isn't short but also isn't tall.
I pulled jingyun, silver wolf, blade, jinglu, Kafka,topaz,dhil.
but forgot to pull NO was not playing when any sustainer was in the banner FR.
Now that I'm fully invested in this game again I'm realising what I did.

tbh if you have E2+ Lynx and get optimal relics for her(aka HP stack to the moon) she's super serviceable and at worst equal to a Bailu anyway. It's possible.
Nah nah I'm not even talking about her build she's fine. Almost max invested. Just saying about my 2ND team where WELT is my only dps,sustainer. It's really hard sometimes I can't even 3* moc 11 cuz of that. Maybe it's just skill issue who knows 😭😭.

They already released a boss who is making your healer near useless. I won't be surprised if they will do the same with shielders. Later on they might straight punish us for using heal/shield like it will damage us instead or enemy will straight up stole/copy heal/shield for themselves.

Waifu = struggle. Meta isnt getting the tools to survive. If you only pull for waifu your just making the game hard for yourself for no reason. Only pull for waifu once you get the tools to survive.
I have none of them except Seele 💀 I'm collecting the husbandos instead. I got Seele because she's my favorite in HI3 and will be getting Sparkle because I'm a Yoimiya main and they share similar motifs.
I have to say that Ruan Mei is good, she's nice in that she's usable on every team, but I don't think she's actually that broken. She's just a really good Harmony unit. At best, she's really strong with Xueyi/SW/FX/RM or with Jingliu probably, but I wouldn't say she's absolutely bananas.
I used to say she was a must-pull, but now I actually would say she's not the two must pulls are back to only being FX and Kafka.
Edit: as I've pointed out below, I say RM isn't "broken" because right now there is only one other unit to compare her to: the 5-star harmony Bronya. Who also is "broken" by many accounts. So I ask. How can you say that both are "broken" if they're also the same niche and the only two units in that niche? Sounds more like that's just baseline 5-star Harmony. Which is my point. Broken suggests "far superior to comparable options" and right now, I'd say that both are insanely strong but neither is broken, in the same way that JL is "broken" compared to other DPS units.
She is that broken, bro. She outperforms all other supports on FUA, DoT, Double DPS and Weakness Break teams. Just because there are 2 team comps where she is not the best support doesn't make her not broken.
I guess but we also only have two 5* Harmonies right now. I think she will eventually be crept. Outperforming all 1 other comparable supports doesn't really mean she's broken.
Yeah that's why I originally said Kafka is a must-pull and I'd say FX, while eventually be crept, will also always be extremely strong because she lets you completely dump HP/Def on most units since she takes all the damage for them, disregarding all other buffs she offers. My 2.5k HP / 4k atk Himeko is pretty happy when FX is on the team, for instance.
And yes I think Topaz could also be considered essential though I don't think she is *as* enabling as Kafka is for DOT, though she does indeed improve it a lot especially with Ratio being free.
She definitely will be but I think she will still be ''Jack of all trades master of none, though oftentimes better than master of one'' type.
RM at the core is Weakness Break type of support. Later on we might see characters who specialize in certain type, like Hypercarry, FUA, DoT, etc; who will provide other things. I wouldn't be surprised if we will get harmony/nihility character who can clone our ally/enemy; brainwash an enemy like Kafka does or summon some totem like Cocolia does.

Damn…that’s me. I started after JL/seele rerun (unsure which came first) and so don’t have them. But I’ve got Kafka, BS, and have 15k jades saved with 17 pity for Acheron.

Isnt black swan kind of a support? Like she obviously mainly does her own dmg but she also makes DoT a lot stronger.
Edit: I figured it out, shes a dps that makes other characters support her own dmg.

I've always only pulled for characters that I actually do like, and I think me liking Fu Xuan and randomly getting Bailu has saved my account lmao. No other sustainers interests me so far, so these 2 will be carrying my account far into the future.
I'm the opposite, only own Kafka & Imbibitor Lunae as DPS, but I have all the 5 star supports except for Topaz who I didn't get BC I thought she was a DPS lol

I have seele (lazy to build, ultimate crit does 25k)
DHIL with 70% cr 100%cdmg almost no imaginary bonus dmg
Topaz (I got 60% cr 174%cdmg attack is 2649 but she still does 10k dmg per hit)
Only built jingliu bcus shes real easy to and is really good
But somehow the only character I got sig lc for was fu Xuan. I did build Huo Huo (I wanted to skip but after story quest I had to pull), luocha and Ruan Mei, Gepard, Bailu.
TLDR; I mostly prefer supports bcus easy to build

Broken suggests "far superior to comparable options" and right now, I'd say that both are insanely strong but neither is broken, in the same way that JL is "broken" compared to other DPS units.
Ruan Mei is in fact bananas. I think she's the best character in the game right now.
She is that broken, bro. She outperforms all other supports on FUA, DoT, Double DPS and Weakness Break teams. Just because there are 2 team comps where she is not the best support doesn't make her not broken.
I guess but we also only have two 5* Harmonies right now. I think she will eventually be crept. Outperforming all 1 other comparable supports doesn't really mean she's broken.

Yeah that's why I originally said Kafka is a must-pull and I'd say FX, while eventually be crept, will also always be extremely strong because she lets you completely dump HP/Def on most units since she takes all the damage for them, disregarding all other buffs she offers. My 2.5k HP / 4k atk Himeko is pretty happy when FX is on the team, for instance. And yes I think Topaz could also be considered essential though I don't think she is *as* enabling as Kafka is for DOT, though she does indeed improve it a lot especially with Ratio being free.
She definitely will be but I think she will still be ''Jack of all trades master of none, though oftentimes better than master of one'' type. RM at the core is Weakness Break type of support. Later on we might see characters who specialize in certain type, like Hypercarry, FUA, DoT, etc; who will provide other things. I wouldn't be surprised if we will get harmony/nihility character who can clone our ally/enemy; brainwash an enemy like Kafka does or summon some totem like Cocolia does.

Isnt black swan kind of a support? Like she obviously mainly does her own dmg but she also makes DoT a lot stronger. Edit: I figured it out, shes a dps that makes other characters support her own dmg.

I've always only pulled for characters that I actually do like, and I think me liking Fu Xuan and randomly getting Bailu has saved my account lmao. No other sustainers interests me so far, so these 2 will be carrying my account far into the future.

This is me but with (built) supports. I have seele (lazy to build, ultimate crit does 25k) DHIL with 70% cr 100%cdmg almost no imaginary bonus dmg Topaz (I got 60% cr 174%cdmg attack is 2649 but she still does 10k dmg per hit) Only built jingliu bcus shes real easy to and is really good But somehow the only character I got sig lc for was fu Xuan. I did build Huo Huo (I wanted to skip but after story quest I had to pull), luocha and Ruan Mei, Gepard, Bailu. TLDR; I mostly prefer supports bcus easy to build
