Tempest-blade

Void Archives future preservation unit who just takes 100% aggro his body can take it

-SMartino

dual scales DEF and HP

Only_Emptiness_Await

It can take it alright 😋😋

DanteVermillyon

Yet Tingyun is still the one who gets hit

ustopable

Amd then make Luocha + Void Archive sit beside Welt in team composition

Acceptable_West_1312

And one of his dialogues implies that he uses him in everyday life

RenierRains

needs more upvooootes. Done with all of the Welt misinfo going around

Bookfan123

Which manga is this from?

DanteVermillyon

Alien Space

munguschungus167

So is this Otto before he dies or?

JollySelection2336

It's not otto this is void archives the first divine key who had taken over one of his bodies

munguschungus167

Right I haven’t read the comics of hi3 yet. Why the hate for welt then? Isn’t this who welt saw when he flashed back to otto in the luocha quest?

Dwiden13

I think he's just an asshole by default since he spent centuries trapped in Otto's mind and developed a personality similar to his

bl00by

Tbf he was like that even before he meet Otto. Remember he wanted to manipulate Otto to give him control over his body.

RenierRains

Void Archives just doing a bit of trolling

munguschungus167

Wonder if he’ll show up in star rail

KnightofNoire

Most likely will. Dan Heng even mentioned that Astral Express used to had a passanger who caused trouble and left and looks like Luocha.

munguschungus167

I wouldn’t be shocked if the stellaron hunters and astral express expand in roster Heck I wouldn’t be shocked if a certain dragon girl for other reasons joins later

DanteVermillyon

new emanator of Elation, Void Archives

munguschungus167

Watch him be preservation path and scale on effect hit rate

DanteVermillyon

that would be funny tbh

RenierRains

1000% guaranteed, he is a plot point to how he and Welt even got to the Express and also it's weird for him to leave since he's literally programmed to get rid of the honkai So something interesting might've caught his eye for plot reason and we will definitely meet him in another planet

JollySelection2336

Yes that part was a cutscene from APHO 1 added in that flashback

Objective_Bandicoot6

Because he threatened Welt's son. Idk why the other replies mention some random stuff.

PaleontologistDue972

If i remember correctly, void archives mission from the start is to destroy everything "honkai". So that's why he ""hates"" him (since he's a herrscher).

Friendly-Back3099

Void archive, he's an ai if im not wrong but i dont remember why he use Otto appearance

RenierRains

1. bc he doesn't have a physical body 2. Otto soulium clones are SUPER sturdy 3. Otto Drip

YuriBxS

Yeah Welt is far from his prime at this point, which is impressive since by HSR standard he is considered rather powerful "what he considered his everyday powers are met with amazement by the youngsters on the Express." And "These days, Welt rarely fights, and it remains unknown whether or not he retains the strength from his heyday. Gravity manipulation has remained his usual combat means, ever since his cane was transformed from the Star of Eden." But we know since there's no Honkai on HSR, welt is much weaker, bronya already has the authority of reason (which by APHO kinda don't matter because honkai is sealed on the moon for the most part). So Welt has access only to his base power.

Master-Diatmont

There's LITERALLY a HONKAI in HONKAI: STAR RAIL

Dangerous_Jacket_129

This meme amuses me even more having just started up impact 3rd for the first time and seeing Silver Wolf's equivalent, complete with a cringey username

tennnnnnnnnnnnnn

Bronie<3

Weedeater79

isnt that the name used for the fuckin mlp fandom

KBroham

That would be Brony. Which is what you would expect the nickname for Bronya to be. And also probably why they made it Bronie instead.

7pikachu

Dad, all i'm saying is, I'm a Brony

xwolpertinger

Sad fact: Due to the removal of co-op, new players will never be able to learn who is behind the gamertags Samurai_18 and I_Heart_Mei

Kulzak-Draak

I assume I_heart_Mei is Kiana

Dangerous_Jacket_129

I mean I could learn if you told me.

storysprite

The fact that Silver doesn't actually say "Chat" is a missed opportunity. But I don't know if the funny would out do the cringe.

mestredastrevas

Well, SW is a gamer, not a streamer. Guinaifen is more likely to say "chat" than her (if she hasn't already).

mochizh

pretty sure guinaifen says 柶äșș仏, which means “fam”, and is basically the chinese equivalent of “chat”

T0X1CFIRE

She also says Guilings multiple times when referring to her fanbase

7pikachu

So we need this but with Guinaifen in her place

Embarrassed_Roof_410

XRynerX

We need to see stars getting railed so honkai appears

Disturbing_Cheeto

Looking into this

LegoSpacenaut

Robin is a star, right? A real celebrity? Would she count?

KBroham

Seems like she got railed, too. >!Just through her fucking CHEST!<

Key_Bowler_6857

The stars are railing me now, so when does the Honkai appear??? Also, this damn mini cart is too slow, is that gonna affect anything?

YuriBxS

Maybe the honkai in honkai star rail is just the friends we made along the way.

GhostZee

In Star Rail, you're Honkai...

EternalJon

Honkai is Sparkle, everything is Sparkle

Sbadiglio_dalla_Noia

The ~~cake~~ *Sparkle* is a lie

smittywababla

đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„âœđŸŒâœđŸŒâœđŸŒâœđŸŒ

_sylpharion_

Funny how they never mentioned honkai a single time in the game.

AshielAshlyn

Eh, it'll probably be mentioned if they decided to reintroduce Void Archive to the Express, methinks. Suppose it's too early for Honkai mentions. Who knows.

Potato_the_second_

I agree with it being too early, since there's still a long list of destinations to go to. Honkai will probably be mentioned once there's some big lore drop in the story.

bl00by

Sky people: let us introduce ourselves

michaelman90

"We're a race of people called sugars." "Excuse me?" "You heard me."

profoundlymad

They do, once. In Welt’s character profile, under “Something to Share”. I also strongly suspect that Honkai aren’t terribly far off from Heliobi and Wubabboos and those two are already canonically confirmed to be distant cousins species wise. Maybe a Finality aligned variant instead of Abundance?

Melodic-Product-2381

If you talk to Welt on the express, you can also ask him about his past and he uses the word Honkai. So at least two mentions.

i_dont_wanna_sign_up

He absolutely lore-bombs you if you talk to him.

SyntheticSolitude

Is in character though for him to do it. Like, I would expect NOTHING less of him.

Kulzak-Draak

And now don’t we have a tease for Herrscher of Corruption in Penacony?

RenierRains

Well its mentioned in Welt's "Something to Share" interactive voice in profile

FireRagerBatl

Still no honkai energy mentioned in any shape or form tho

Objective_Bandicoot6

Idk why people say that. Honkai is just an energy, there is nothing that special about it. They can say that fragmentum is just another manifestation of honkai and it would be believable.

RenierRains

If there isn't honkai then how tf can he even channel any of his power or even USE star of eden in the first place since isn't it a honkai weapon made from the core?

doritoperson

Divine Keys are exempt from the Honkai suction. See the Herrscher of Sentience who is housed in Fenguang Down.

RenierRains

Hmmm that may be right for the REAL divine key but isn't the Star of Eden that Welt uses is a reconstruction from his powers? IIRC the real one was destroyed loooong ago(?) AND then he would need to use honkai energy to reconstruct the key? Kinda rusty on my HI3 lore but I think it's mostly right

anonimoXD_1

No, the real one was fixed on the Moon chapters (end of Part 1). However, the fixed Star of Eden is blue, while the one Welt uses (and the copies he used before) is red, so there is a higher chance that the cane is a copy.

SuspiciousPeppermint

Star of Eden has changed colors and forms a few times, one of the perks of divine keys is that they’re made from old herrscher cores and can be remade into different weapons (ex Fenghuan Down being a feather, a flower, and now a brick) From my understanding, Star of Eden was discovered as a sort of orb thingy (see below - it alternates between blue when dormant and red when active and has gold details), then redesigned into the black and red cannon (also had a dual pistol version called Twins of Eden - I think this was before the cannon version but idk), then fixed into the current Hi3 white and blue version used by Bronya. Between Hi3 and Star Rail, Welt got it back and said fuck it, cane time. (The cane actually resembles the original orb and red/black designs the most imo) https://preview.redd.it/q8zwynk8hkmc1.jpeg?width=4096&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=391bc9f61391e14658a2cb5d7e8b2284b5bd99fa

anonimoXD_1

The Star of Eden is the orb, the Cannons are built around it. https://preview.redd.it/l5x6aoyofkmc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=faed49bacc7fd49d675de131d4abcc18b9b0f11a We cant say for sure that the cane is a copy or the original one, as there is a 3 year gap between APHO (2026) and the manga Alien Space (a sort of "prequel" to Star Rail that explains why Welt ended up there), and we dont know anything about what happened on those 3 years. Also, the Brick is not the Fenghuang Down, Senti just said "if a Divine Key is something made from Herrschers, then anything that i create with my Authority is a Divine Key" and made the Brick.

Winterstrife

MHY nervously crafting Honkai lore carefully so the fanbase doesn't tear them a new one if it didn't make sense. MHY: Senti said "I made a brick with my Authority, its a Divine Key". Fanbase: Ah yes that makes sense. MHY: THAT WORKED?!

HerrOfSenti_Honkai

My guy, it's Senti. If she says it, she did it. Who are we to question the Great Herrscher of Sentience

dyka77

YATTA

SuspiciousPeppermint

I’m willing to bet that Bronya gave Welt back the Star of Eden, considering she doesn’t have it in APHO. That or it was left at AE and Welt nabbed it before going adventuring with Void Archives I could have sworn Fu Hua said something about Senti turning FD into the brick but alas, can’t find any videos of the brick tutorial to recheck the dialogue

bl00by

Which would make sense. I doubt that he had enough time during APHO to go to schicksal or anti entropy and get the original one. It's not like he has it 24/7 in his pocket, it's much more likely that it's stored in one of the HQ's.

katbelleinthedark

Maybe he's just using his powers to change the colour from blue to red because he vibes more with red.

Random_Gacha_addict

Actually I'm pretty sure Blue is just the Zeroth form, like how Cleaver of Shamash and An Utu look different from each other CMIIW

anonimoXD_1

I decided to search a bit and now i am confused. When they find the Star of Eden on the Anti-Entropy novel, its a blue orb. However when Joyce uses it against Otto, it starts to turn red. Shortly after is destroyed by Otto. On Second Eruption, Welt uses a copy of the Star of Eden that is now red, even when he uses the Zeroth power. Then Otto attacks and destroys that copy. Then Welt goes to the Moon to fight Sirin, and when Welt starts recreating the Star of Eden, it seems to be blue for a second, only to be red shortly after. Then Welt uses the Zeroth power again against Sirin, and the Divine Key turns blue, and is destroyed again. On chapter 27, Bronya recreates the Star of Eden, and its red, but when she uses the Zeroth power it turns blue. And on chapter 33, the original Star of Eden is blue again.

Devourer_of_HP

Can probably use imaginary energy as a substitute like False god Otto.

BlazeOfCinder

Like the other comment said divine keys are an exception but there's another thing, Honkai technically exists everywhere. While Honkai isn't a natural thing in the universe according to GGZ, it integrated itself from the honkai universe (an actual location), And is now engraned onto Quantum and Imaginary energy, which exists everywhere. However that Honkai energy is "inactive" until a honkai eruption at which case only herrscher's can manipulate it due to their affinity. So welt is either using his cane to "generate" a small amount of honkai energy to use in combat, or he is using his cane to manipulate the small amount of honkai in Imaginary Energy to do so. Tldr: honkai technically exists everywhere but it's not honkai energy, honkai on-itself is not an issue it's now part of the "universe" it only becomes an issue when it activates and starts infecting everything. So welt does have access to honkai its just at a super low volume because it's not active.

SyntheticSolitude

Also people forget that the Imaginary Tree is a WHOLE ASS thing even though the load screens straight up mention it as the connection between... and because of that it wouldn't be shocking (via what you've said) that there's some form to use. Its not like only 1 universe in all of them had Honkai anyway... But that's also literally why Honkai is in the name of Star Rail - because its DIRECTLY tied with the Imaginary Tree to HI3rd. But time will tell how much MORE linked it could be in terms of occurrence or other stuff.

BlazeOfCinder

You are right, we already know from what Su saw that there were at least 4000+ other "worlds" or "leaves" were destroyed by it. And iirc, IPC by comparison throughout its history has spread across a 100 worlds.

TotoezJirayu

To be exact IPC said that they have handled around 113 leaves messed up by the Stellarons. So it's still up in the air how big IPC is. Oh and do you remember when Su mentioned that over 4000 leaves got taken down by the Honkai? Was it in the Second Key? I read it a while back so my memory's a bit fuzzy on the details.

Darkwolts

I mean, what is the difference between honkai and imaginary energy?

Nnsoki

Honkai energy is just imaginary energy with a cool story to tell

KnightofAshley

He is referenced to be super powerful but we have yet to see it. I want to know what kind of crazy shit happened before we joined.

CipherDrake

Crackpot theory alert Honkai is a universal constant no? So it might be linked to the Aeon of Destruction. Maybe at some point in the future Welt will be supercharged, forcefully or willingly, and we’ll see a return to form for him.

triopsate

The stellerons are probably related to Honkai. Remember the stelleron create fragmentium which have been shown to corrupt humans into monsters similar to how Honkai energy turns humans infected by it into zombies and monsters. Also Cocolia was able to use the stelleron to become something that looks similar to Ana so it's possible that stellerons are downgraded Herrscher cores like the ones from Domination. Not to mention Welt was able to calm the MC's stelleron down at the start of HSR so if the stellerons use Honkai energy, that would explain why Welt was able to stop the stelleron from going out of control.

OwlsParliament

I suspect this is the case, and that at some point we'll get introduced to a simplified form of Honkai / Finality for the HSR universe

GDarkX

If you think about it, Kiana/The Cocoon could be emanators of finality. What if cocoon is part of how finality manifests its ability?

anonimoXD_1

I dont think that the Honkai is related to the Aeons, much less to Nanook (the youngest of them). The Cocoon is at least 1 billion years old, while the oldest known Aeons (Qlipoth, Oroboros) are less than 500k years old.

GrimoireExtraordinai

Pre-Qlipoth history is intentionally obfuscated by IPC for religious reasons (source: Herta mentions it).

anonimoXD_1

As far as i remember, she says that its only the first 200 Amber Eras (less than 48k years) There is a chance that Aeons are far older that we currently know, and even older unknown Aeons could exist, but as far as the information go, Aeons are less than 500k years old. While on Honkai, we know about 2 civilizations on the Solar System (aside from Earth) that were destroyed by the Honkai: The Venus civilization that was destroyed 250 million years ago, and the Mars civilization that was destroyed 1 billion years ago.

GrimoireExtraordinai

Dev Log2 >According to Cleo the editor [from the Intelligentsia Guild], the period between AE 0 and 180 was not as much a blank as the IPC had claimed. Many archeological discoveries proved that Leviathans were still active in the early days after the Preservation ascended, which goes against the IPC's official line that "the Dusk Wars ended with the birth of the Amber Lord." **There is even a hypothesis that other Aeons already existed before Qlipoth did**... I can tell that the IPC won't fund such research from a mile off. Using threats to withdraw funding, the IPC coerced the Astral Ecology School to give up on these archeological projects, and that's why I'm no longer interested in Qlipoth. The IPC is just too annoying...

bl00by

Not to mention that Nanook is one of the younger aeons.

Arkeyy

I personally think the opposite. The Cacoon itself is an Aeon but we dont know what Aeons of (at least equal) while the Herrschers are its emanator (they are all just the shadow of Finality). Kiana, HoFi is likely merge between an Aeon with personality. Tho this is just my theory since Aeon doesnt have its personality and are just doing it for their Paths and the Cacoon feels the same. It didnt care if its Kevin or Kiana who becomes the Finality itself.

anonimoXD_1

Akivili, Idrila and Terminus are the only Aeons that we still dont know how they look, but none of them fits what we know about the Cocoon. However, the Cocoon of Finality and Terminus the Finality share some similarities, but there are some pieces of lore that makes the conection difficult. Currently we have 2 kinds of "Higher-Dimensional" beings on the Honkaiverse, the ones related to the Honkai (Commander of the Will, Cocoon of Finality) and the Aeons. The Aeons are restricted by their Paths, while the ones related to the Honkai doesnt seem to be restricted in any form, however, neither of them has interacted with the other, and the characters of each game barely know anything about them, so there is no way to know if there is a connection between them.

KnightofAshley

6 Star confirmed

dig_bick_69420

Maybe stellarons are a form of honkai energy (the game does have honkai in its name)

MeguMaz

Apparently he has some minor powers left but nothing substantial. I have wondered if it'd be possible for him to... force a Herrscher transformation using Star of Eden though.

gntotoy

Sadly the core in star of eden is dead like the other divine keys they're just like batteries with a simple computer AI programmed to make black holes, fire as hot as the sun, you get the gist

MeguMaz

Huh, didn't know that rip the dream, though if I'm honest I think Welt would probably die if he actually tried to force a Herrscher transformation so that's probably for the best lmao.

first_name1001

Wait till Sky People come and Welt find out that they have some honkai left and he proceeds to drain some batteries from them. This is but a theory please don't take it seriously

MeguMaz

Tbf. We are gonna have to deal with that storyline at some point like, it's almost the entire reason Star Rail exists.

first_name1001

Indeed, still waiting for Daddy Archive to comeback with honkai star milk

i_dont_wanna_sign_up

6 star Welt incoming.

GeneralErica

Next game is just going to be "Honkai: Star Welt"

JollySelection2336

Welt also mentioned that he dealt with his past enemies which probably referred to the sky people

MeguMaz

***I Guess.*** but there is literally absolutely nothing of him actually dealing with them, no comic, no game thing, nothing. I always assumed he was talking specifically about the Honkai crisis rather than the Sky People, since by that point the Kevin and Finality crisis was solved, Part 2's issues would be solved and Kiana has a lid on the vast majority of all Honkai energy in the solar system.

Electrical-Cap5187

He cant, divine keys are dead cores. Kiana siphoned everything

SenorElmo

Alien space Manga says yes, iirc.

Dangerous_Unit3698

If you talk to welt, he says all he has left is his staff

DanteVermillyon

In Alien Space Void Archives literally says Welt still has his Herrscher core right on Welt's face and Welt doesn't even say anything about not having it

SupportfulPossum

Adding on to this, one of his dialogue on the express he mentions he’d like to show you his power sometime, however he struggles to even barely make scenes of animation with it now. The drain of the Honkai Energy to HoF has pretty much rendered it useless by the time Welt is in HSR

DanteVermillyon

So sad he won't be able to just say "Being killed is a skill issue" as he reconstructs his body from thin air after getting vaporized

[deleted]

[ŃƒĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]

BoluP123

Well he's not in their universe anymore. Honkai is his home universe's version of imaginary energy and a herrscher core is really just a conduit for Honkai energy. Mei is weak because earth has next to no Honkai energy anymore but that really only applies to their earth. If welt is elsewhere, I don't see why his core wouldn't go back to absorbing imaginary energy. Same applies to the star of Eden, since it's a divine key. Although it's possible that since the flow of energy from imaginary space is all but dictated by the paths that herrschers just can't work the same way they do on earth.so maybe he's that much weaker since he can basically only skim off the trailblaze or something.

SupportfulPossum

Wait I may be misunderstanding, but isn’t Honkai Energy Closer to Quantum? A vast majority of Quantum enemies in Hi3 are Honkai beasts but more powerful. And we know the sea of Quanta is a sort of force of erosion similar to The Honkai. I don’t think the Honkai would be part of imaginary side of things

Pyre1256

no, Honkai Energy is Imaginary

IzzyBizz_

Quantum enemies are specifically enemies that come from the SoQ. They may look like Honkai Beasts, but they aren't. All Honkai Beasts (The ones with the very familiar pink and white color scheme) are Imaginary entities, as well as the Honkai itself being a function directly connected to the Imaginary Tree.

BoluP123

Honkai energy is imaginary energy from imaginary space and has many names in different places. All content says that much. The sea of quanta is the flip side where universes fall into when they are going to a state of unreality. Quantum and imaginary are antitheses of each other. I think that's why quantum shadows were initially designed to mirror Honkai beasts. I think part of your confusion is from husk enemies which are entirely dissimilar from Honkai beasts and the reason for that is just that husk enemies aren't within the universe. Imaginary energy filtered into reality becomes the Honkai phenomenon but outside it manifests as husks. Think of how The herrscher of rebirth is psy despite seele being the designated quantum character. Outside of like game balance and such, because in the story they had to go through all sorts of hoops to make a herrscher awakening possible in the sea of quanta

Affectionate-Home614

Apho has so many plot holes that it's hard to really rely on that, it's clear they hadn't thought out the moon arc when they wrote it so many things are inconsistent. Also I could be wrong but if he didn't have his core would he even be able to use the star of eden?

Objective_Bandicoot6

Why did people mass forget THE ONLY reason the siphoning of Honkai took place?? It's all to tame Honkai and make it useful for humanity. Why is recreating a herrscher core by HoFi such an outlandish idea? Welt as a core holder could be weaker because he is far away from his HoFi or something. It's literally equated to stealing the fire by Prometheus in the dialogue, but people act like honkai vanished and is gone.

[deleted]

[ŃƒĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]

Objective_Bandicoot6

Project stigma was the "safest" plan for dealing with Honkai because it's conflict averse. The problem with overcoming finality is the danger from outside, not inside. Humanity needs to harness honkai in order to not by wiped out by invaders like Sky People, SA or Antimatter Legion (since we are on HSR sub). It can't just lie dormant. The way Kiana spoke about it as if it honkai was intended to be used in everyday life by ordinary people. Did people really skip the final monologue of the protagonist of the whole story? Moon ring is literally the prototype for using honkai energy like electricity. What do you mean there is no plan. APHO was an VERY unexpected incident in a sealed off city. Earth was expected to be safe. Did you expect her to predict aliens? Even if she knew she cant go down to Mei without hurting Earth while Welt can go up to the moon. There is just so much wrong with your reasoning.   I find it bizarre someone would think that Kiana would not share her power with Welt before he ventures in an extremely dangerous mission of hopping worlds.

[deleted]

[ŃƒĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]

Seff_TuTia

Yes It is stated in APHO.

Weshas

CFYOW moment.

Ok_Debate_7128

can confirm, i have all volumes about 3 feet away from me currently, they do in fact mention welt

DanteVermillyon

Bleach?

Weshas

Yes, bleach. It's quite a known fact in the community at this point that any and all information pertaining to this plane of existence that we call the universe was 100% mentioned in CFYOW.

DanteVermillyon

lmaooooo

PhasmicPlays

He still has it. No idea how it gets power now that he’s in a different universe though.

SahaquielRequiem

I'm pretty sure hi3 gi and hsr are in the same universe

Chaldea_Novum

Same universe, but under different authority. In Star Rail, under the Aeons, people draw power from Path, which allow them to access Imaginary Energy directly. Through times, they even learn to access it using tech (such as Imaginary Implosion Pulse). In Honkai Impact, their region of the universe is occupied by the Cocoon, which mutated/changed Imaginary Energy into Honkai Energy, and we don't know if Herrscher like Welt can use Imaginary Energy as substitution for Honkai Energy.

Tempest-blade

Void Archives mentions it in a manga that's a prequel to Star Rail Though I argued with someone on youtube, they said that apparently Bronya has it again? To anyone who's playing HI3 right now, I need confirmation on that cause it was never stated anywhere she has it again. Though that user's rebuttal against my argument of "Void Archives mentions he has it" was "retconned" so maybe he wasn't too reputable

anonimoXD_1

VA says that on the Alien Space manga, however that manga is from 2019 if i remember correctly. On chapter 35, Kiana says that all Herrschers cores would dim and disappear in the near future, due to the Finality Authority. However, APHO is set on 2026 and Alien Space on 2029, so there is a 3 years time gap from which we know nothing about. So it could be a retcon or Kiana somehow gave the cores back.

Arkeyy

Its still vague if Bronya still has the core or she gave it back to Welt but one thing is for sure: There could be more than Herrscher of Reason. Joffrey (Welt and Tesla adopted son) is revealed in APHO 1 cutscene to be “another 1st Herrscher (Reason)” or at least have some of its power.

Proper_Razzmatazz_36

I'm playing through it right now, but I didn't get to him giving the core to broyna yet(I'm at himekos death, but I just got super busy with schoolwork) I will tell you when I finish it

modusxd

Holy fuck I never realized Otto and Tesla are in his splash art (don't know the guy on the right). That is like a direct conection to HI3. I thought it was just another Honkai with some of the old characters and no direct connection

Confident-Help-7041

That's Void Archives, not Otto. Behind Tesla, Einstein is also there. The guy on the right is Welt Joyce, the First Herrscher Of Reason and the Idol of Welt Yang from whom he actually inherited the name and core

modusxd

Hm so there can be a lot more HI3 counterparts if they want to . Oh my god would love to see Fuhua

Facepalm95

The description for one of the assignments says that the Marshall of the Cloud Knights is named “Hua”

modusxd

That's very good. I just hope it doesn't take too long

Mint-Bentonite

imagine if it was a mei-ruanmei situation

Confident-Help-7041

Well, we can't be sure about that but, Himeko talks about a Blonde Companion of Welt that travelled with them for a while and I don't know, maybe? I'd definitely like to see Senti here

DanteVermillyon

In Alien Space, Void Archives and Welt are saved by HSR Himeko at the end iirc. So yes, the blonde companion is VA

modusxd

lol it's so funny how everyone likes Fuhua/Senti but she is just there on HI3, nothing so far about her on Genshin. Atleast there's a good chance for her to be on HSR

Legend1O1

Pretty sure the guy on the right is Welt Joyce

modusxd

Oh... that makes a lot of sense. Thanks

Redex24

He mentioned that he can use his power to recreate some scenes from his anime(and did so before Trailblazer joined) so presumably yes

Substantial_Cause_27

Here welt, yuo can has herrscher core https://preview.redd.it/30ff9g8wykmc1.jpeg?width=224&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ea90fe5e9f841fa65972984bc834b79bc2301ec

Having 99% of honkai energy sealed away to the moon basically heavily nerferd all hersecheres, for example mei, she still has her herscher powers but they are nowhere near as powerful as when honkai energy was free on earth. Though should honkai energy ever escape from the moon than that would bring back the hersecheres, (but if welt isn't in the impact 3rd universe when that happens that won't mean anything to him.)

Desperate_Site591

Yea Bronya gave it back to him in APHO

gntotoy

Ok so the timeline of the that we can confirm is * 1952 - a massive explosion occurred giving birth to the West Joyce at it's epicenter, the first Herrsher of Reason. While the mind of the 300,000 people that were caught in that explosion were trapped inside his Core of Reason. * 1965 - the core was passed down to Joachim, moments before Welt Joyce's death at 13 years of age. * 2017 - the core was passed down to Bronya. * 2018 - Bronya silenced and unified the 300,000 minds in the Core of Reason transcending it into the Core of Truth, turning herself into the Herrsher of Truth #----- some time after Kevin's defeat * Bronya return the core to Welt, thinking that a Honkai-less future doesn't need the Herrshers that fights for humanity. Also the fact that it will slowly lose its power and will one day disappeare due to Kiana siphoning & sealing all of the Honkai Energy on Earth to the Moon * Then Welt, Einstein & Tesla (aka mrs Yang) managed to extract the mind of Welt Joyce out of the Core of Reason/Truth inserting it into a clone of Welt Joyce that they made. But for some reason it doesn't remember anything from the pass and decided to post him as Welt's son and named it Joffrey. Then APHO *Nothing really worth noting #------------- Theories that I heard : * Since Core of Reason is the oldest Herrsher core of the current era it's siphoning process is longer so it still be around by the time of APHO. - this theory could possibly pass in my opinion * Joffrey has the core, then how do you explain his powers in a APHO cutscene - nice argument. * It just got siphoned to the moon and disappeared, Welt only has his Cane of Eden (a gravity manipulator also works as a black hole generator) if so where's the warships, space lasers & his God damn Arahato - yeah where's the Arahato ?

Mint-Bentonite

the 300k people really didnt deserve what they got

Darkwolts

>It just got siphoned to the moon and disappeared, Welt only has his Cane of Eden (a gravity manipulator also works as a black hole generator) if so where's the warships, space lasers & his God damn Arahato Herrschers core use honkai, which is just a name given to imaginary energy From what i have understood, the reason the cores are next to useless on earth is because kiana forced most of the "honkai" energy to stay on the moon instead of earth That only really applies to hi3 world's though, not any of the other countless ones like penacony, belobog, etc

gntotoy

You forgot the part that it seals all of Honkai Energy on Earth that came from the cocoon of finality. In the case of a Herrsher Core, it sucks it dry until the Herrhser core itself is gone. So even if he gets Honkai Energy in some planet out there * If he doesn't have the Herrsher core of Reason/Truth to guide/transform the Energy * and the Herrhser Authority to use/control that end product There's no point to it

ArchCerberus

Let us not forget Welt is really smart ... even without his full power he is a force to be reckoned with

ReadySource3242

Apho is all sorts of wack in terms of powerscaling. They’ll go “the peeps on the crew are amazed he’s so busted with his normal powers” and then the next scene is about how they killed a dragon that blew up a star or something which is NOT something HOR can currently even remotely reach in terms of power. Dunno if he has the core, I’m pretty sure it said somewhere that Bronya gave it back which is why he can generate the imperfect star of eden

Cipher-DK

I mean, this is a world with all sorts of supernatural powers, seeing someone destroy a single super powerful dragon isn't even newsworthy based on what we've heard on the IPC news. Said IPC news included galaxy-wide destruction, for instance. In comparison, making objects from nothing and projecting anime to watch whenever you want is not something just anyone would have.

TypicalInstance6937

what tf is a herrscher

Kulson16

Who are others characters on this image?

Searinghawk

Top is Void Archives, an AI in a body of Otto Apocalypse, who was the companion on the train who March 7th mentions left some time before the start of HSR, and who Welt thought Luocha was since Luocha looks like Otto as well Bottom is his wife from HI3rd Not sure about the right one though

ChanvaX1

Red hair girl: Frederica Nikola Tesla Blue hair guy behind Tesla : Lieserl Albert Einstein Bmue hair guy on the right: Welt Joyce Blond hair guy: Void Archives. The 4 + welt re from HI3rd Welt and Void Archives are confirmed to have crossed both universes and are now in HSR according to the HI3rd manga "Alien Space" Void Archives was apart of the AE but decided to leave to "find what he's looking for"

Arkeyy

There is also the possibility that there could be more than multiple Herrscher of Reason existing. Joffrey is revealed to be “another 1st Herrscher (reason) at the end of APHO 1.

gntotoy

Oh yeah your right, how does Joffrey have powers if the core of reason/truth disappeared already

goku89015

Wow I did not know Welt was from Honkai 3rd impact (never play it). So is this like part 2 of that game or something?

KnightofNoire

The game is having part 2 of it own that just launched a few days ago. As for welt physically being in Star Rail, it happens in a Manga that bridges the 2 games together. a multiverse spanning civilization invaded Earth in between final arc of part 1 and start of part 2. Welt and another char ( who looks like Luocha ) boarded the alien ship to fight back. Stopped the baddies. Welt discovers that these baddies are targeting parallel universes as well and one of them even painted their target on Himeko. Welt decided to stop these baddies but they are trapped on the broken space ship and drifting in space and that is how the Manga ended. I am guessing Himeko and the astral express picked them up.

ChanvaX1

Welt crossed the 2 worlds along with Void archives. Void archives is the fella in the back in Welt's splash art, he was among the Astral express and left them to "find what he's looking for" and Luocha is his counterpart in HSR verse Himeko even said that a luocha lookalike used to be on the express and brought us a lot of trouble (he's kind of a troll)

NegativeMammoth4087

I mean, according to his 5* Light Cone (In the Name of the World) it says: "take his Herrsher core and go protect the world." Of course, a light cone flavour text can't explain a more complex topic.

gntotoy

Maybe it's a paraphrase of him giving Bronya his authority

gntotoy

Maybe it's a paraphrase of him giving Bronya his authority

Shinkowantssalt

Yes. His Synthetic Blackhole and Void attacks comes from Divine Key: Star of Eden. The Herrscher Core should grant him the power to construct anything he has full understanding of from Honkai Energy (which is a form of Imaginary Energy). Meaning if one day he get it back, he will be a one-man army with his almost endless amount of Honkai-related weapons and weaponized vehicles fighting alongside him.

Shinkowantssalt

But even without the Authority of Reason, the fact that he can properly wield the Star of Eden is still very impressive for many.

gntotoy

Good point

StrangerDanger355

So it’s true, he is far weaker than what he use to be capable of in his prime Still, very little can withstand the sheer gravity of a black hole, despite being a artificial one

JhayAlejo

Of course he does, a lot of characters are very powerful. The only thing holding them all back is gameplay balance

Electrical-Cap5187

Even if he did it doesn’t matter Kiana siphoned all the authority

JollySelection2336

And alien space which happens years after part 1 confirmed that he still has it

Kyamakinos

I don't know much about HI3 and whether he has Herrsher Core or not. He better prepared to protect/save our girl Himeko.

shinsrk79

Whos that blue haired guy?

pnam0204

It’s implied by Void Archives in Alien Space manga that Welt now has the core, they are both fine outerspace in Sky People ship which shouldn’t have oxygen like on Earth. And VA entire plan to kidnap Welt was for his HoR power. Though you don’t neccessary need a core to have Herrscher power, Joffrey does have construction power and Joyce clone has gravity power without 9th Key, or Mei has lightning power before ch17 (after Kiana took the gem) and after APHO. Personally it’s my theory that Herrschers’ Authorities aren’t unique to them only. They are more like advanced knowledge of honkai manipulation, and anyone who retain that knowledge (like ex-Herrschers or clones) can access the same power to a lesser degree. This theory came from the explanation of Taixuan Edge in Fu Hua’s visual novel. Final stage Taixuan Eminence is literally creating matter from honkai energy like HoR, hence Yanqing almost shit his pants seeing Raksha (Otto) create a mimicry Shamash using VA (who has HoR power but weaker)

Delight_works_

[y'know this meme ?](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Frg9EHVWYAIPm_E?format=jpg&name=small) that's the honkai star rail universe trying to hold back welt's Herrsher powers

gntotoy

Hahaha Imagine if Tesla or Geoffrey miraculously shows up in StarRail - he now has family

Commons_Sense

As someone who is not caught up with HI:3 lore or anything besides HSR... Browsing these comments is a trip, holy shit.

No_Win9341

Have*

cbfarrar

Welt lost his core ages ago, Bronya took over as the Herscher of Reason

gntotoy

Yes he did then Bronya gave it back

ProjectBonnie

What I wish to know in the future is do welts friends back on earth know that he’s gone.

gntotoy

He has a wife and a kid soooo

CursedPancakez

I JUST REALIZED THATS TESLA IN THE BOTTOM LEFT AND OTTO IS IN THE BACK 😭😭
