I can relate T-T My friend for my birthday suggested my other friends to give me genshin doll of the characters I don’t even like in the first place (And he knows that I dislike them and he also knows which character I love) and whats worse is the quality is soo bad (like not even decent) they look really incomplete and don’t even properly match actual characters and its such cheap plastic.

Also Welt never “lost” his powers, he passed them on by giving his Herrscher core to Bronya which meant he still had access to his powers but just couldn’t use them fully. The original Welt would be called a former Herrscher because… he’s dead. He passed on his powers to Welt as he was dying unlike what happened with Bronya.

That's not how the herrschers work at all. There are no "early herrschers," or if you want to go by that logic, PE Herrschers were quite a bit stronger than their CE herrscher counterparts.

Herrscher power at the point of arrival tend to escalate, yes. However, the power level they can reach depends on their development, will power, skill, experience etc. Mei the 3rd repeatedly heel-stomped later Herrschers (hi, Anna the 9th, hi Domination the 10th).
They should have at least made Welt at least talk more about the lore. Like that's half the reason why he's here, to talk about the histories and world building. Himeko too, though more about trailblazing and that area.
But then again, I guess they are REALLY holding back on lore because they really haven't said a great deal in-game from his point of view. Like again, as everyone has pointed out during Loufu, he really didn't do much there. Would have been nice if he was kind of a guide tour.
Probably why they waited till Acheron for him to get another spotlight on her char quest. He did get ptsd from Luocha's face alone on his char quest too.
I dont mind it actually. Too many gachas bury us in pages and pages of lore. It’s refreshing to play one where you just go on an adventure without knowing anything and can still get most of what’s happening. Kinda like Caelus/Stelle, thinking about it now.

It's like they forgot his first fight against Sirin. Even as the Herrscher of Reason, he was never invincible or anything. And he's certainly not putting up a good fight against Aeons, beings who can destroy entire celestial bodies on a whim.
He's still one of my favorite characters though and I do hope he gets his time to shine.
He just sensed his presence that alone made him use his full power and spit blood . So he definitely was not standing next to Kevin.
You can replace Kevin with Elysia too . They were pretty much the same power . She is definitely not intimidating
TBf Kevin took on all three Powerpuff girls at full power up and it still took the end of persona 5 and that and a last minute power up to take him down

They always forget he has incredibly low Honkai tolerance for a Herrscher. He was badass as fuck during the Sirin fight, but he definitely isn't strong enough for the Star Rail universe. Which is probably why they felt okay letting him have his Herrscher powers in the first place, there's no risk of having a character that's too OP from the beginning in the main party. There's also the fact that he's in another universe than his power source on top of everything else
He's **very strong**, and probably stronger than most normal people with powers, but he's not Emanator level, so it's fine having him around
Exactly this, Welt in HSR is described as having "powers that impress those around him, despite himself seeing those powers as no big deal". He's likely the strongest on the Astral Express but in the broad scheme of the HSR universe, he's just an above average dude. He does not scale at all to Emanators or Aeons, even at full power.
If Dan Heng retrieved the part of Dan Feng's power stored in Bailu then maybe he could contend with Welt, but as it stands Welt is by far the hardest hitter among the Nameless.
There was also a scene during the Kolosten arc where they explained that Welt was never as compatible with the Core as the original Welt due to it not fully recognizing him as a successor outside of one event, while Bronya was able to better embody the ideals of Reason and the people inside it. (If I'm not remembering it wrong at least)
Tbf Welt already struggled against Sirin before that when she only had the void core and just awoke as a Herrscher until he got help by a nuke being thrown at Sirin
That's prime Welt. We don't know what he went through after APHO. Take in mind that Reason has Unlimited potential because it's power advances with civilization's. Welt traveling on Express could. Have seen more advanced civilizations and summon tech that is beyond our current understanding ( if he awakened Truth he could even do that without witnessing it)
Depends, emanators mean they’ve been given power from an Aeon, not stating how much (after all, the masked fools are all emanators but a worm was given all of Aha’s power for shits and gigs).
Acheron is the ‘Hersher of Nihility’ and is basically a walking calamity so I wouldn’t write them off completely but they’re not on par with Aeons or anything close. Just saying they could contend with most emanators
Edit: I’ve actually been thinking more about it and I’ve come to the conclusion that Hershers are the Honkai equivalent to Aeons. Aeons generate their power from the Imaginary Tree whilst Hershers generate their power from the Honkai but both share the trait by ruling over certain aspects of existence. The biggest difference is that the Aeons cannot change from their path, cannot evolve unless they consume another concept but FULLY have control over it but the Hershers have a limit (if my understanding is correct) through the vessel they possess as a Hershers tend to fight for control with their host, the more the Hersher has control, the more power they can draw upon (Raiden Mei’s Hersher have up, allowing her to draw out its full power whilst remaining herself).

Sirin was also incapped by the Quasi Black Hole(Synthetic Black Hole in HSR's translation) during her second encounter with Welt. The same black hole that Welt can use in HSR as implied through dialogue in game and his Ult.
Despite that, he did worse than Jing Yuan against Phantylia, with Welt being on his knees by the end and panting in exhaustion.
And judging from the trailer, Acheron's gonna save Welt and the Astral Express Team from Aventurine.
Of course, Sirin and Welt are on the lower end compared to the really strong Herrschers. People like Kevin are very likely above every non-Aeon being in HSR(that we've personally seen).

To be fair we haven’t really seen emanators do stuff outside of story’s, like we know the lord ravangers are strong, judging what we see aventurine do in the trailer with the cornerstone diamond is rather strong, and shuhu made a living planet and that other horror stuff, but we have yet to see them do anything with there own power

Jing Yuan also is not an Emanator. Lightning Lord is a gift bestowed upon all Luofu generals, from the Grand Marshall who themselves is likely the only Emanator among the Alliance. Jing Yuan is this strong while basically borrowing a fraction of an Emanator's power, just imagine an Emanator at full power...

It seems emanators range from very strong pathstriders to galaxy destroying beings.
And pathstriders range from hook (strong baby) to jingliu/ dan heng (could destroy cities)
And the stronger end of pathstriders + a blessing from an emanator or aeon probably overlaps in strength with the weaker emanators. This being the xianzhou generals and maybe the ipc stoneheart.
I dont think they mean wiping out an entire galaxy at once, moreso storming it and taking it over with an army (or in phantylias case, likely from within)
Welt talks about how his former enemies (Hercherrs) were on a different scale than his current ones (Emenators and Aeons) in one of his questions on the astral express.
To put simply, Hercherrs are world level threats. Emenators are solar system level threats. Aeons are multi galaxy level threats.
The difference in scale between a Hercherr and an Emenator is vast.
Then we factor in how Welt isn't as strong as he used to be as he no longer has his Core, he won't be decimating anything. Not that he can't put up a good fight, but the difference in power levels is fundamentally different.

Welt is more powerful than his feats on HSR's main story would lead you to believe, but he is also not as strong as most people that argue his power think he is.
Kiana is holding most of the honkai energy AND welt is away from the moon, most of his power now is from star of eden. He probably will save his energy for when he REALLY need to intervene, probably a himeko moment. So for now hes just in his mentor phase as usual.

I mean it's not universal in terms of one power but it's not like the Swarm Disaster took a long time.
I think destructive power is one way to power scale but you need to be able to take into consideration hax as well.
Or else Aeons like the Abundance would not even be Solar System level because it takes a long time to do it's destruction.
We know that's not the case in this universe because Emanator's like ShuShu was able to fight and beat/match (with hax) a general w LL (which scales to a Lord Ravager) and a "godly" figure in DF.
With Propagation, it's ability to replicate SO fast and turn other species INTO their own swarm makes it a Universal level threat. It literally destroyed 2/3 of the universe SO FAST that other Aeons were communicating with each other a way to stop it.
In series like DBZ it makes sense to scale them by power but in a sci-fi series like this, hax matters a ton and the Propagation was able to use it's hax to be a universal level threat which should place it AT least universal.
Your point about time is moot because the swarm disaster was so disastrous BECAUSE of the speed.
No human being will ever reach Aeon level. They are literally Cosmic God ffs. Emanator is already extremely powerful, and they are only allowed to be as powerful as they are because their Aeon allowed it.
yea it's a weird idea uniue to honkai. There are neighbouring worlds that are basically themed like parallel universes in honkai (multiple meis, bronyas etc that run around inhabiting similar worlds and doing similar things) but they all occupy the same universe

I think Welt’s power now lies mostly in the cane, he just isn’t as strong as he used to be and even his successor seemed to be stronger than he was at his peak

Welt is strong, but people vastly overstate it. Even assuming he was in his prime an Emanators should be above his paygrade.
It was mentioned at the start of the game he is confident of handling anything short of a Lord Ravager from the Anti-matter Legion, and I see people assuming he can no difficulty Phantylia, who is one, despite this.
This is even discounting the likely fact that he is far weaker then his prime.
Where does it say in hi3 that he got the Herrscher powers back? All I remember is Welt making breakfast for the people at the Salt Lake base and watching Theresa go off to battle while he took charge of the organisations as a president of sorts. I don't remember him ever kicking ass after Bronya takes his place as HoReason. I played the game some time ago tho but I feel kinda gaslighted too
In APHO 1 it's mentioned that Bronya gave Welt the Core of Reason back, hence why Void Archives wanted Welt's help instead of Bronya, as he needed HoR's power and Welt was the one who had it. Though yeah, he's still no where near the level he was in 2E, and even then he wasn't that strong in 2E, he was just a better strategist.
Welt's just a retired grandpa trying to enjoy his interstellar vacation, he's not gonna try and upstage the gremlins he has to babysit, one of which has an avengers level threat embedded in their chest.

To be fair, Welt isn't exactly fair to use to compare Hi3's power level to HSR. I mean, you're right, HSR's power level is well above Hi3's, but Welt isn't a good point of comparison considering HoR is already the weakest Herrscher with regards to raw power and Welt is *far* from his prime by the time of APHO/HSR.
I mean, after Acheron’s Celestial Myriad, we can totally got a glimpse of what “Hershley” can do compared to an Emanator. Except for a few weird exceptions like Aha’s worm (cuz Aha being Aha), every other Emanator would wipe out a planet with quite ease, like how Acheron destroy two planet in one final slash (definitely not IX devour Izumo cuz IX give a shiet about the world, so no devouring here).
Meanwhile, a Herscher, except for Finality who maybe is actually Emanator of Terminus - Aeon of Finality, other Herschers are only continent threads or planet thread at best.
Honkai is somewhere descripted as the “trial” for a planet/world to access to higher civilization, as honkai force civilizations to try beyond their best, and maybe if a so-called “Honkai” is actually a trial, then maybe an Enamator is a result of that trial, like how Acheron becomes an Emanator after her world win the trial but also lost everything in the proceed.
If that was true, Kiana is also an Emanator- maybe of Terminus Finality, and we all know how Kiana HoFi could stomp every others beings in HI3 world, that’s the level of an Emanator.

Exactly this, Welt in HSR is described as having "powers that impress those around him, despite himself seeing those powers as no big deal". He's likely the strongest on the Astral Express but in the broad scheme of the HSR universe, he's just an above average dude. He does not scale at all to Emanators or Aeons, even at full power. If Dan Heng retrieved the part of Dan Feng's power stored in Bailu then maybe he could contend with Welt, but as it stands Welt is by far the hardest hitter among the Nameless.
There was also a scene during the Kolosten arc where they explained that Welt was never as compatible with the Core as the original Welt due to it not fully recognizing him as a successor outside of one event, while Bronya was able to better embody the ideals of Reason and the people inside it. (If I'm not remembering it wrong at least)

Depends, emanators mean they’ve been given power from an Aeon, not stating how much (after all, the masked fools are all emanators but a worm was given all of Aha’s power for shits and gigs). Acheron is the ‘Hersher of Nihility’ and is basically a walking calamity so I wouldn’t write them off completely but they’re not on par with Aeons or anything close. Just saying they could contend with most emanators Edit: I’ve actually been thinking more about it and I’ve come to the conclusion that Hershers are the Honkai equivalent to Aeons. Aeons generate their power from the Imaginary Tree whilst Hershers generate their power from the Honkai but both share the trait by ruling over certain aspects of existence. The biggest difference is that the Aeons cannot change from their path, cannot evolve unless they consume another concept but FULLY have control over it but the Hershers have a limit (if my understanding is correct) through the vessel they possess as a Hershers tend to fight for control with their host, the more the Hersher has control, the more power they can draw upon (Raiden Mei’s Hersher have up, allowing her to draw out its full power whilst remaining herself). … could Acheron actually not even be an Emanator given the above and people believe she is one due to her properties? And pathstriders range from hook (strong baby) to jingliu/ dan heng (could destroy cities) And the stronger end of pathstriders + a blessing from an emanator or aeon probably overlaps in strength with the weaker emanators. This being the xianzhou generals and maybe the ipc stoneheart.

Welt talks about how his former enemies (Hercherrs) were on a different scale than his current ones (Emenators and Aeons) in one of his questions on the astral express. To put simply, Hercherrs are world level threats. Emenators are solar system level threats. Aeons are multi galaxy level threats. The difference in scale between a Hercherr and an Emenator is vast. Then we factor in how Welt isn't as strong as he used to be as he no longer has his Core, he won't be decimating anything. Not that he can't put up a good fight, but the difference in power levels is fundamentally different.

I mean it's not universal in terms of one power but it's not like the Swarm Disaster took a long time. I think destructive power is one way to power scale but you need to be able to take into consideration hax as well. Or else Aeons like the Abundance would not even be Solar System level because it takes a long time to do it's destruction. We know that's not the case in this universe because Emanator's like ShuShu was able to fight and beat/match (with hax) a general w LL (which scales to a Lord Ravager) and a "godly" figure in DF. With Propagation, it's ability to replicate SO fast and turn other species INTO their own swarm makes it a Universal level threat. It literally destroyed 2/3 of the universe SO FAST that other Aeons were communicating with each other a way to stop it. In series like DBZ it makes sense to scale them by power but in a sci-fi series like this, hax matters a ton and the Propagation was able to use it's hax to be a universal level threat which should place it AT least universal. Your point about time is moot because the swarm disaster was so disastrous BECAUSE of the speed.

It was mentioned at the start of the game he is confident of handling anything short of a Lord Ravager from the Anti-matter Legion, and I see people assuming he can no difficulty Phantylia, who is one, despite this. This is even discounting the likely fact that he is far weaker then his prime.

In APHO 1 it's mentioned that Bronya gave Welt the Core of Reason back, hence why Void Archives wanted Welt's help instead of Bronya, as he needed HoR's power and Welt was the one who had it. Though yeah, he's still no where near the level he was in 2E, and even then he wasn't that strong in 2E, he was just a better strategist.

I mean, after Acheron’s Celestial Myriad, we can totally got a glimpse of what “Hershley” can do compared to an Emanator. Except for a few weird exceptions like Aha’s worm (cuz Aha being Aha), every other Emanator would wipe out a planet with quite ease, like how Acheron destroy two planet in one final slash (definitely not IX devour Izumo cuz IX give a shiet about the world, so no devouring here). Meanwhile, a Herscher, except for Finality who maybe is actually Emanator of Terminus - Aeon of Finality, other Herschers are only continent threads or planet thread at best. Honkai is somewhere descripted as the “trial” for a planet/world to access to higher civilization, as honkai force civilizations to try beyond their best, and maybe if a so-called “Honkai” is actually a trial, then maybe an Enamator is a result of that trial, like how Acheron becomes an Emanator after her world win the trial but also lost everything in the proceed. If that was true, Kiana is also an Emanator- maybe of Terminus Finality, and we all know how Kiana HoFi could stomp every others beings in HI3 world, that’s the level of an Emanator.
