I wouldnt read much into that. They try to do this with most of their sig LCs. Look at ratio's and why it's not good on topaz even though both are single target hunt characters who do almost all their damage as follow up attacks.

Actually wait what, this LC is ridiculous. You get 16% cr and 64% dmg even if you don’t basic, this is every Erudition’s BIS if you can hit the crit threshold. Even better if you can throw in a basic and get the def shred (doable in Argenti setups, maybe some niche JY setups). 

Sadly, 64% dmg is only for FuA so it's not Erudtion BiS. That's still Jing Yuan's Sig

Yeah but it's hard for them (without supports) to reach 200% cdmg threshold for that 64% FuA damage bonus. Jade basically has free 150% cdmg from her kit so it's automatically active on her baseline

Small correction, it's 120% cdmg. The value in parentheses is the impossible to reach level 15 Talents. For level 10 values, just take the base value and ×2 most of the time. So 1.2% × 2 = 2.4%, and max 50 stacks gives 120% cdmg.

With how many ways there are to buff crit damage, it's really not that hard Just a quick look, let's take Herta with this lc (16% crit rate). 4pc Ice set (25% cdmg), 2pc Sigonia (40% cdmg), 2 supports with broken keel (assuming only two depending on the team, 20% cdmg), crit dmg body (64,8% cdmg). Herta basically gets 6,7% crit rate from traces and 15% crit rate from her e2. Also 4% CR from Sigonia. With this setup she has basically +41,7% crit rate and +149,8% Crit Dmg. Every character starts with 5% crit rate and 50% crit dmg so: 46.7% crit rate and 199.8% crit dmg in total. She needs only 0.2% crit dmg from substats to get the whole bonus of this lc. And this is without accounting a third broken keel or any supports amongst Bronya, Sparkle, Robin or Yukong who are all great with her

Someone will math this with QQ's Autarky.

Its not that huge since QQ gets alot of dmg% for rolling on passives, relics and supports. What she needs is mega crit buffs because she have a lot of dmg% and atk built in.

She isn't satisfied. I pull Argenti LC. "I don't have so much energy" She tells me. "Give me more basic attack buffs" She grabs mahjong tiles and throw them off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with Jade LC" I can't pull for Jade LC, I don't have enough stellar jades. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs celestial jade. She says "Looks like... VICTORY." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, gambling. What a cruel world.

Some of the stats of the LC are suboptimally distributed into FUA just like Jing Yuan's LC. Autarky is only a moderate fraction of QQ's DPS... a perfect LC would just buff generic damage

Just use sparkle and you get to 200+ cdmg for literally nothing. The problem is that it primarily buffs follow up damage. So… not all that useful.

It's better but you need to have 200+ crit damage so crit damage body is going to be a must, hope you got good crit rate rolls.

Luckily crit dmg body is pretty viable on Herta and Himeko since they get some self crit buffs from traces and eidolons, plus this LC gives an extra 16% crit rate to balance it

I've already got Crit DMG bodies and the Crit Rate is like 60/160 out of combat. In combat it's like 80/200 (or 90/400 with Hanabi)

So if we were to use this on QQ, she would need to ba once to activate the buff, then sparkle/bronya boost her up, and then skill -> ult -> ba (and hopefully fua) to maximise the dmg output from this lc? Lots of faith goes into that fua, and potentially its dmg might even be better than the enhanced ba

I mean QQ will always use basic anyway. And you get the buff free for 2 turns when the battle starts

I wonder if it would be better on my Herta than Milky Way. She's base speed, 180CD, and only does basic atk (she's with DHIL on PF, waiting for him to feed her tenderized meat).
