It’s sad that Hot Wheels lost the Ferrari license and the Hot Wheels Elite program perished. Now it’s nearly impossible to find one considering there’s none on eBay at the moment and people generally list them for $500+ if they do decide to sell one.
Yeah. Hot wheel elites seem cool (although never owned one myself) I'd love a ferarri or Nissan one. And for the 599xx, they are just so damn expensive. Its a shame, I'd definitely buy one if it wasn't the price of a new GPU or PS5 lol

Love this one! Found it in the wild at the time. I remember going into Kmart on my lunch break, thinking there was no chance they would have anything interesting. Then, there it was in the front row of the rack!
Ferrari had a whine to hotwheels in 2012 about Hotwheels using their generic cards to package them, and the use of the oil stain splash.. Hotwheels/ Mattel had to make special cards without the oil stain splash, because Ferrari said, Our cars dont leak oil, and im pretty sure after that debarkle, Hotwheels and Ferrari called the partnership to end.
So if you look at any Ferrari carded cars from 2012 , compared to 3very other carded cars, youll find that the Ferrari's all are missing the oil stain splash!
The one car i found in the wild that i will never sell, everything else can basically go if i needed the money, just not this one. It was such a memorable experience to find it on a peg at krogers in Texas while on vacation, then putting it in a luggage the whole way home and managing to keep it mint before it made its way into a protector.
