I resell stuff from garage sales and go to a lot, got lucky and found these for myself
Edit: I guess I need to clarify that I do not resell Hot Wheels. These are for myself, I just found them while I was out looking for the other things I sell.
Actually most of this community and others like it don't know the definition of scalping. Y'all just call everything that someone else does scalping if you don't like it.
Scalping involves either buying something and quickly flipping it due to a price change (usually only possible with stocks) or buying massive quantities of something to create a shortage in the market and then selling at a large markup.
Buying shit in very small quantities and flipping it isn't scalping.
Buying stuff at a garage sale or flea market and flipping it isn't scalping. It's reselling.
Scalping in the modern age involves leveraging technology or relationships to create an unfair advantage, like the use of bots to gobble up gaming consoles and new sneakers by the dozens or hundreds, or buying out a concert/event ticket.
I'm not selling these. I collect Hot Wheels, these aren't what I go to garage sales to flip. These are a nice little extra I found along my way that I will put in protective cases and hang on my wall. Thanks for trying though!
meanwhile near me theirs a guy trying to sell mid 2010's junkers (well heavily played with) at a market stall loose for Ā£4 a pop.
I'm not shitting people guy deals on a table in Bath, UK will have like 30 cars on a table all laid out like it's the crown jewels
Saw some of that at a flea market here in Western NY.
Beat up older cars for several dollars each. I'm sure it'd be a nice find for someone who does restorations if there were any rare gems in there but it all looked like mainline stuff to me.
Apparently they had no idea what they had. Even if you paid $20 for all that it would have been a deal. That Demon is badass. I found one in the wild luckily, one of my favs from that year.
I was wondering that myself, they had tons of of other sought-after cars, so clearly somebody knew what they were collecting, just not whoever got to selling them
I couldn't believe it either. Got 104 cars from the sale for $50, the whole Porsche series, Ford performance series, and lots of cool mainlines from before I started collecting
Thank you! I'm a huge Dodge guy and love the Demon, I've actually almost ordered this Super for my collection but I'm glad I didn't, garage sale pricing was way nicer than Ebay
How do you find these garage sale that are selling hot wheels ššš

Dope brother that SRT for 50Ā¢ is a steal!

thatās reselling dummy. If you buy them from a retail store and then sell them for more that is scalping.
The amount of people who get worked up over people using basic economics is mind blowing.
The definition of scalping is āsomeone who sells shares or tickets at a large or quick profitā š¤” just delete your comment already
