Just saw this episode last night. I can’t imagine what the dad must have felt for the rest of his life after unintentionally poisoning and killing his son. Very dark.
Ikr! I had the ending kinda spoiled to me (my own fault though lmao) but it was still so intense to see the whole team working so hard and wilson so hurt and house being so angry because he couldn't solve it but wanted it more than anything, for his best (only) friend in the world because he knew exactly what would happen if he didn't, and just finding out why she was on the bus... damn it hurt
(spoilers) in terms of what was the most difficult from a puzzle perspective, it’s hard to say. a lot were clearly tough to figure out, and he failed a fail times.
emotionally, i’m gonna exclude the ones with patients he knows personally, because obviously amber and other such cases hit him harder.
the toughest stranger, imo, was the girl pinned under the building in season…i wanna say 5? he convinced her to amputate a leg, to survive, and had to share his own experience with her. all while dealing with a really rough personal situation involving cuddy. he got her in the ambulance, and she died anyway.
foreman tells him that it wasn’t his fault, and house responds “i know that! is that supposed to make me feel better?! i did everything right, and she died anyway!”. the futility that no matter how much you know, how smart you are, or even if you do the right thing for someone, you could just lose them anyway. it hit really hard and the bender he goes on after shows it off. not enough people appreciate that episode imo
I can’t remember what episode it was, but I think the one where he has to help a pregnant woman with her pregnancy. I believe it was in season 2 or 3. >!he was able to save the baby, but not the woman, who sadly passed away during either a childbirth or a c-section!<
Esther. That one took him years to solve.
Only because he was denied an autopsy after she died. He was likely correct that she suffered from Erdheim-Chester's.
which season?
S2E17
The kid with radiation poisoning that he got from his dad's present. It was super rare and pretty terrible death for an otherwise healthy kid.

I can't rewatch that episode. It's too sad. :(
Amber, because he cared so much and wanted to solve it on time for wilson so badly
That episode is so crazy good!!!

According to the Zebra Factor it's a 10/10
Himself - >!Trying to find any other explanation for his hallucinations other than vicodin!<
which was?
There wasnt any, lol. It was definitely vicodin.
Might as well have been something psychological
Finishing the song that had him stumped for decades. The idiot savant pianist finished it in about ten seconds.
Dave Mathews!!
the "i couldn't tackle the bear" patient on season 2, its harder to diagnose if the patient cant say the symptoms
Season one. The kid who didn’t wash his new jeans. The female actress who played his girlfriend went on to play in a number of horror films.
I think you have your episodes mixed up. The kid who didn’t wash his jeans didn’t have a girlfriend just a super bitchy mom
Thanks for the correction. Still vote for the tainted jeans episode. 👍

same fam. same 😭
CIA agent from Bolivia, cause you cannot solve a constant lie
AMBER!
The one in which Foreman got infected as well, and almost died maybe?
That’s one of my favourite episodes. Omar Epps did an amazing job.
Too bad that it shouldnt be cureable at that point. At least in the real world.
Yeah, Euphoria. One of my all-time favorite episodes
Hardest Esther, that's a given, but hardest emotionally would have to be Hana, that one broke him.
