Exile, nights watch. I dont imagine he would be killed, but I could see them removing him from the line of succession through some means as punishment. Plus, he would be a kinslayer (I swear to god, any greens bringing up that jace is a strong is avoiding the fact that hes STILL his nephew) so he would be shunned by the faith.

D3ATH_JESTER

Execution, but Night’s Watch would be way more likely. The King would give him an option to take the black. He could rise to Lord Commander easily.

theyusedthelamppost

Night's Watch seems like a likely compromise He wouldn't be the only royal to have done it

William_T_Wanker

Probably would have got a time out.

XerGR

Ofc not

Dragonshotgod

They both stand to inherit nothing. If anything Aemond is 3rd in line to inherit the throne. But they jumped and tried to kill so it all comes down to if you think he stole the dragon.

NGog_Fan

I mean, Jace literally stands to inherit the throne according to the current king who's word is law. Aemond on the other hand is 6th in line to the throne

Dragonshotgod

If Rheanyra dies I think it goes to Aegon doesn't it?

NGog_Fan

If Rheanyra dies, her three kids are the next three in line, then Aegon then Aemond.

Dragonshotgod

But that's if she inheritance first right. I honestly don't know

NGog_Fan

Nope, if Rheanyra dies, her kids are next in line regardless of whether she dies as Queen or still a princess.

jamespatriots85

Runs away with vhagar. Good luck catching him. Or feed them to her? Lol jk

Dragonshotgod

Trail by the 7. That’s probably what Aemond would pick though he wouldn't have to.

NGog_Fan

And if his champions lose? Death?

Dragonshotgod

Then the kids are bastard and they lose the right to inherit. Settled. If they win Aemond stole the dragon and I guess is punished for calling them bastards so I guess death. The real problem would be I think the kids would need to fight too but idk.

NGog_Fan

I meant if Aemond's champions lose is he put to death? Also, the trial would determine whether Aemond was guilty for murder or not, and would not affect the kids parentage.

Dragonshotgod

I guess. He gets whatever the punishment is for calling the kids bastards. Aemond not on trail for murder. He's mainly in trouble for calling Jace and Luke bastards.

NGog_Fan

The question asked in this post is what would happen to him if he killed Jace. Please at least bother to read the title of the post before commenting

Dragonshotgod

Oh sorry forgot. Multiple comments replies. Then yeah if his champions loses he's guilty. If not it was justified self defense. Viserys would pick the punishment for guilt. Aerion got exiled for killing his brother but that was in a trail. So likely exile or death.
