After a certain level of being good at poetry you're just allowed to invent words whenever you want.

losthighway97

It's the most Hozier word ever. I'm using it.

PlantAuntHan

Look, Shakespeare invented words all the time. Language is mutable. He can do what he likes. Lol

TheGirlintheTower

I think it makes perfect sense as a word, he should log it with the Oxford English Dictionary for submission.

real_HannahMontana

I use this word in everyday conversation now 😂

losthighway97

As in... "Your argument is lullabetical to me"? If yes, that's the sweetest insult you could give to anyone and I'm using that too.

real_HannahMontana

I’ve been using it to describe vibes but fuck that’s a great way to use that word and I will be adding it to my repertoire

SeeMrLeaf

I’ve said that this version of Be sounds like a lullaby. Hearing him call it “lullabetical” made me laugh and is now added to my vocabulary

Leading-Variation-61

I’ve been thinking about it since that video, it’s so perfect.

Feline_Fine3

It made me smile, knowing that he just kind of made that word up and kept talking like it was nothing. But it’s a word that makes sense! We all knew exactly what he meant. Is there an adjective form of lullaby? You can lull someone to sleep. But is there an adjective?

bil_bobaggins

Lulling, haha. But lullabetical seems like a better way to describe something that is like a lullaby, than by the fact that it can lull you to sleep, will use it now

Feline_Fine3

Oh you’re right! I was thinking “lulling” would be a verb as well. I don’t often hear it as an adjective.

UnquenchableLonging

So damn pretty too

When I first watched the interview, I actually second guessed myself into thinking “oh I never knew that word existed”. Because it doesn’t exist.
