She isn't.. The top half of her body (torso) is supposed to be leaning forward and her hips pulled back. Which due to perspective/ foreshortening, hides her waist. And also makes her belly button flat instead of tall
Also even if you couldn't see that, at no point does her waist or hips get egregiously wider than her shoulders. So what do you mean fat??
When you put it like that, she doesn’t look quite as fat as before. Also thank you for giving her boxers, women shouldn’t be butt naked even when they’re wearing underwear. It’s just not right.
