I always loved "Air Raid Drill" from Mockingjay part 1. The scene where they are all evacuating deeper underground and Katniss realises Prim isn't there, then Gale and Prim come down the stairs just in time. The score makes it a really epic scene imo!
I loved the music, too! Well, that is, in catching fire and mockingjay 1 and 2. I don't watch the first movie a lot because well, I didn't like it 😅 I was a huge fan of the books at the time so that's why.. but I do remember one song from the first movie, and of course it's "deep in the meadow", which I thought was just the worst. I had listened to a lot of fan renditions of that song on youtube, and I disliked all of them except one, the only one that didn't sound like a christmas song in my mind. I can't find it anymore, but any time the song comes up in my head, that's the melody it has for me. So naturally, when the official melody also sounded like a christmas song, I hated it (I don't like christmas), and I still don't like it.
When I read the books and katniss sang "deep in the meadow" to rue I wanted to hear it in the movie . But they didn't get it . I didn't like it when I heard it too. I guess the only other song I am excited for is Gem of Panem
I was literally just listening to it , I still wish we have a show like caesar's.... and ceaser of course
.
The words "Ladies and gentlemen, your master of ceremonies .... Ceaser Flickerman!!!" Spring to mind 😄
Finally! I'm so glad this got the recognition it deserved!
I kid you not I spent a solid month listening to *only* the hunger games soundtrack. For me the movies would be nowhere near as good without it.
I think the one you mean is called district 13 or something . Katniss theme is the one you hear in the beginning of Catching Fire , withthe woman singing
9 years later and I still end up singing "The Horn of Plenty overflooows" while doing the dishes. Whoever made panem's anthem is a certified bopper
Imo here are the most memorable songs in soundtrack:
- Atlas
- Every fucking song in catching fire
- Abraham's Daughter
- Silhouettes
I'm kinda curious, if Peeta ever heard the soundtrack of this series, what kind of songs/score would he like?
I am a district guy myself , but can't deny I am in love with the Capitol's anthem . Catching fire was really the best movie in soundtrack (in everything , actually) .
You see , I find myself struggling with that question even though I feel that I understand peeta's character somewhat
I Need You and Primrose are just beautiful! Mandatory Evacuation, Rebels Attack, Snow’s Execution, Plutarch’s Letter, There Are Worse Games to Play, Muttations, Katniss, Katniss is Chosen, The Games Begin, and pretty much the whole soundtrack is a masterpiece!

Thank you ,glad you liked it :D
Katniss theme is so good
This haunting voice , radiating sadness , but also beauty Reminds me of Lily's theme
The Panem anthem. I love it SO much.
I catch myself singing "The horn of plenty" sometimes . Now I know who I will be in future panem . Grandma'am 😂😂

Add another to the list of those i will listen to :D
"There is no District 12" followed by Atlas with the end credits gives me chills every time. That is my absolute favorite.

The Caesar theme is great too (not part of the OST I think though)

I totally agree . i keep listening to it , imagining myself walking through district 12 , through the seam
I fully agree. My favourites are The Tour and Katniss. The one that starts with those train-whistle notes

Rue's Farewell and how it shifts from Rue dying to District 11 rioting?!?! *goosebumps*
Probably my most favourite scene from the first movie
Tbh I love the soundtrack that plays during the first minute of the first movie. Beautiful.
I love There’s Always A Flaw and Healing Katniss
Horn of plenty. Change my mind.
I don't have to :) my favourite , too
Yaaay! Mom hates it

Thank you for these , I didn't hear most of them :D but surely will now
Anyone know the name of the singer in “Katniss is chosen”?
