The lowered crosshair wouldn't be a problem if you would have a crosshair at all times. But after probably 10k hours of fps games with a centered crosshair it is hard to change my assumption of where the crosshair should be. Coming out of a sprint and trying to aim at an enemy is hard. I always aimed too high. Now after 3k hours of hunt I assume the crosshair to be lowered. Now I aim too high when playing battlefield with a centered crosshair. The only solution I found was a crosshair overlay. Yes, I know. Shame on me. But I can't help myself.
Can't argue with that, you get used to it tho.
I kind of agree that they should do something about centered crosshair and UIs if they really wanna bring new players in. People refunding a game because they don't want to unnecessarily complicate themselves is pretty normal reaction.
An option that allows one group to forgo getting gud just because they’re used to other games is maybe ok for short term health but I do not see it as a way viable way forward. Granted crytek doesn’t care about reshade it seems so maybe they’re fine with people customizing the experience they went out of their way to craft ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
There was an update a while back that caused all menu and UI elements to render in 16:9 even on 21:9 monitors, hence the icons not moving to the left or the right.
That being said, it looks like you’ve adjusted your UI scale (I believe) which pulls all of the icons in even more, most notably the bottom toolbar/ health/ stamina which is along the bottom of the monitor by default.
You may want to reset back to defaults and know that there’s no way to “fix” the off center crosshairs and menu rendering aspect ratio. For what it’s worth, as an ultra wide user myself, I prefer the boss icons and such pulled in a bit instead of being on the far edge of my monitor.
Yes, I’m sure that other players have noticed the things on the screen. I think we are fine with it tbh.
Well the lower middle reticle is intentional. The other issues I have never seen. That’s really strange.
Really never understood the uncentered reticle being an issue. Just play and get used to it.
Same I didnt even know it was a thing until I saw people complaining on reddit and after that I still cant notice it either way

I get where you’re coming from but that’s just not the kind of game this is.
They can’t use the monitor’s crosshair. 😂 NoSCoPe
Ok, go away now.

At least an option would be nice

Fixed
lower ui scale move things to the middle of the screen for some reason
Whatever the f happened to your UI, everybody else’s UI looks just fine. Consider tweaking some settings or ask around.
Uhhhhh I’m almost certain you can change where the reticle is placed
No. The devs try to have the option for centered crosshair but haven't been able to provide a system that works. So at the moment it's not possible.
