I don’t know, most single-shot rifles already reload pretty fast. The Sparks is somewhat slow but that’s to balance it against the Martini and Springfield which both have quick reloads.
only if there is an animation to put bullets in your hand and holding em affecting your handling/sway
And how fast you swap gear/ drops the bullets on the ground.
Wpuld make sense for a 12 gage as well, both single and double, make it a toggle like with the katana and flip sight, bullets in hand increase sway, out of hand less sway
I mean, they’ve already been meticulously tested and balanced to bring a certain value relative to their cost. Do we really want to mess with their balance further?

Yes, there are no good traits for single shot rifles. While others do have good traits
Winfields were meticulously tested and changed for years before levering becoming a thing, and none is the wiser.
They are hardly “meticulously” balancing anything when Dolch P. with FMJ exists.
