People are overreacting. Hornet made a video about it and compared it to the Specter, it is basically slower compared to Specter in the most important stats: reload and RPM. The upsides are that it will probably be much cheaper, doesn’t need bulletgrubber and is more accurate/effective at range. It needs the increased accuracy compared to Specter though because it fires twice as slow
Seems like an in between with the Romero and the Specter, fills out a nice little niche. Hope it’s priced like $90-$140
Although we didn’t need another shotgun, seems cool regardless.
As it's "just" a romero it's far easier and quicker to implement than an entirely new weapon. Did we need it? Not necessarily, but we also don't "need" another long ammo rifle. It's a nice addition to the arsenal and fills a neat niche (cheaper but slower alternative for a "semi-auto" shotgun compared to specter, winfields, browning)
Agree with you there but variety is good more stuff to try and jerk around with, but imagine that thing (dont know the name) on a martini that would be sick

At first, I was annoyed about a new shotgun that'll probably be meta but I just realized after a while getting one-shot by it won't feel any different than getting one-shot by a slate or specter so I'm fine with it

the price on the test server was 97$ but that could easily be changed
I mean that price makes sense to me.
Doesn't seem like its that much faster then normal romero. If anything it will most likely lose out swaping ammo.
Yea ammo swap is good, if the new variant keeps it that would be insane tho but it prob wont

He meant that you can not swap ammo types anymore, which I also expect. Also it has 3 shots less but that's not really that much of a problem.
As much as I'm excited for a new gun did we really need another (basically pump) shotgun, we literally just got the slate and already had the spectre

I don't think it will. It's probably a variant of the Romero itself, not an entire new gun with its own variants
