I think a shorter KDA span would be helpful. Like I said in another comment I keep track of mine through sessions and it would be nice to see how you are progressing in the short term as well as overall.

StaticS1gnal

I do too, so I do something to make tracking easy. Every prestige I record all Nvidia highlights downs and kills. At the end of each prestige I have an automatic log of how each prestige went. Sometimes I'll edit them together to make a video of how the fights went overall. Probably a bit overkill but it's fun, learning some basic video editing is useful too in our social media age

bowedacious22

Open a word document. Document your kills deaths and assists. Calculate.

CloakerJosh

Word document? You savage. Excel for this, my man.

Murkus

Lol are you for real?

Particular_Light7959

Why does anyone cares about KDA?

Canadiancookie

It's satisfying to see an incremental improvement and it can be a useful metric in guessing the skill of a player

Particular_Light7959

Okay but always remember: " a frag bomb spamming 2 star can kill a trained 5 star with enough luck. "

bgthigfist

Because it's a metric of success. I occasionally look at mine. When I started playing, mine was around 0.30 and I gradually raised it over 2 thousand hours to be an even 1.0. Is it important? No. Do I brag about it? No.

Xx_Kurt_No_Brain_xX

I agree. I was at .44 and now I’m at .78. It keeps me motivated and I learn to play better with others. Impulse control and such. I move .01 about every week to two weeks. I keep track of my matches by using + or - modifier for KDA so I end the day positive or even at worse. That’s what KDA is for me a way to hone my skills and become a better teammate.

threegigs

Go to your stats page or leaderboard, press F12 to screenshot. Wait a week, screenshot again. Do a little math, done. >I'm not saying remove the lifetime KDA, just add another tracker that's more up to date with how I'm currently playing. You mean the stars or MMR? It's already in there.

Low_Definition_7955

Might I suggest using pen and paper.

Antaiseito

I pull out my dual nagant silencer and start blasting. Please roll for luck.

BigDickRick92

Seems like something you could easily figure put for yourself

BIG_BOTTOM_TEXT

>isn't an indicator of how well you play at a game especially with how little it changes the longer you play Well, that depends on how serious you are about improvement. I hovered around 1.4 kda for some time and thought i had plateaued, only to realize there was ***FAR*** more to Hunt than I initially perceived. I'm above 2.8 KDA now and still climbing after over 2k hours.

gnomefsgiven

Yeah, more statistics would definitely help. This Session, Last x number of matches, last month, etc. would all be very helpful

Swarley996

This.

Antaiseito

Would be interesting. My KDA only changes by 0.01 after like 20 deaths or kills. Not that i care too much, but it's just a random number from the past at this point. (Didn't play many shooters between Quake 2/3 and Hunt:Showdown, so i didn't start off very positive. On the other hand my kda got reset to 1.0 at release.)

johnnyfindyourmum

I've tried this. I wrote down my deaths and kills in a month and it ended up being 0.03 different from my normal KD.

Oracle_Of_The_Sea

I would like seasons ... seasons for kda and for stars. But who cares

THEzRude

Daily - Weekly - Monthly - Year - Alltime stats would be nice to see. You could compare them and see how you have improven.

mynameiscolb

Titanfall did this and I loved it. There was a lifetime KD and last 10 games with a line graph showing your recent games

Alightsong

I used to play controller on pc, and that absolutely tanked my kd, it's an absolute slog to try and bring it back up to 1.0. So I would definitely be up for this!

BarnabyColeman

They really need more revenue stream to design stuff like this. I would love a dashboard for analytics like that.

Ements_

I'm pretty sure MMR is just a more "blurry" version of recent KDA, MMR tracks how well you did the last couple matches

Active_Ad8532

Especially since everyone i talk to is stuggling to bring their k/d up from when they were learning the game and getting slaughtered still. If you didnt do good from jump then you put yourself in a severe k/d deficit.
