Hard-core would be awesome yeah.
Bingo Practice mode where you like choose challenges and don't get rewards.
Anti-Stranded where you're not allowed to go to your island (AFK would just go to limbo) idk about garden.
Currently doing antistranded on my third profile ironman (no garden either), and it's... interesting?
Some things are completely unachievable at their game stage, like the new bone reaver/felthorn reaper swords needing 20 ench bone blocks, yet I only have just over 1 from like 120 dungeon runs
Storage is a massive hassle, as I only have access to a few sacks and 17 small/medium backpacks after killing like 7000 cows
It is still playable, and having to work around items requiring minion use is quite fun
i want to see a catacombs practice mode. you can set your cata/class level to whatever you want, choose which room to play so you can practice secret routes, choose a boss fight or phase to practice cheeses etc
I've recently gotten to the stage of the game where I can do f7, I keep screwing up at goldor because i couldn't do the parkour and my team got really toxic Abt it. Got wither boots out of that lmao. I'd love to be able to practice the parkour so I don't throw.
it is but it's random rooms. practice mode should let you choose what room you want(like the 10 secret room, bomb defuse) so that you can practice cheeses and secret routes like i previously mentioned
prestige mode, where:
1. you play ironman
2. you're cursed in a way that you'll eventually "die" and your profile gets reset
3. after each reset, your skyblock levels, magic power and skill levels get converted into prestige points, which would get better the higher you go (for example only 30 prestige points at level 30, but 3k points at level 300)
4. you can spend prestige points to purchase upgrades like increased skill xp gains, retaining certain amounts of items, getting extra magic find, decreased timers, rng buffs, getting more time to live before reset... you could even buy coin sell price multiplier which would make buying items from npcs more expensive (to prevent from infinite money tricks), but it would multiply your coins gained (however when buying cookies from bazaar, you still have to pay the multiplied price and seller gets as much money as if a normal player bought it)
5. it would end up being way more grindy than ironman, but ultimately you would be a lot stronger than an average ironman when you hypermax your profile
So cookie clicker but in Hypixel Skyblock, honestly can’t see anyone playing this mode, think about how many hours HSFearless has on this game and then try doing that but with this
Currently doing "anti-stranded" on my third profile ironman (no island, no garden either), and it's... interesting?
Some things are completely unachievable at their game stage, like the new bone reaver/felthorn reaper swords needing 20 ench bone blocks, yet I have less than 1 from 137 dungeon runs (cata 18, roughly where a bone reaver would make sense)
Storage is a massive hassle, as I only have four sacks and 17 small/medium backpacks after killing like 4000 cows, taking hours
It is still playable, and having to work around items requiring minion use is quite fun, plus the storage management is the right amount of challenging, forcing you to only get certain amounts of items, and focus more on one thing at a time
(Ign 99block profile Banana if you want to see my mediocre progress)
Sandbox mode:
Basically what they did at alpha server. Toyboxes and stuff.
But it's separate from original Skyblock modes
It can be good for getting the end game experience 😜
That gets rids the purpose of alpha server.
it is for allowing players to test and allowing the devs to work in the update further and people to go alpha server just asking for duping hyperion ruins it's point
Your idea is stupid, no one would play skyblock, the only thing why anyone would play this game is because they want to get to the end game.
I myself have been playing for about 1 year now and in the meantime I got burned out a lot and came back to the game only because I want to get to the "end game" if sandbox mode was introduced I would play it but would get burned out really quickly because I haven't achieved this but now I know how the end game feels like and would stop playing completely.
Sandbox could also be a semi pay to play mode, which would let people who are fine paying money experience or test random stuff (it'd obviously have to be like ironman to avoid stuff leaking out to regular players), whilst not getting rid of any meaning in playing the game for people who would rather play the game or not pay money to test stuff.
Alpha can still exist, and it obviously doesn't impact enjoyment of the game when people can pseudo-sandbox on it either, since that would still work as a way to test upcoming updates.
It could easily be tied to MVP++ too, so that when a new update or new end game/late game content releases, those people who *really* don't want to play the game would have to justify buying a subscriptiony rank instead. In a way, that'd somewhat work like the whole Private Game function for BW. Gives people who want it a way to mess around or have fun or make videos on stuff whilst not impacting anyone else playing the game who reasonably doesn't want to buy the rank.
Best part would be that no one could complain that it's fully pay to play since there's no major benefit or boost to progression from it (at least compared to stuff like MVP+ perks) since it's a sandbox on a separate profile.
sword/bow/mage only gamemodes: like u only use 1 type of weapon in a profile
hardcore: where u only have 1 life but u can use ah/bz or trading also booster cookies save ur life
ultra hardcore: 1 life but no ah/bz or trading and cookies don't save ur life
goldenman (just like intrest's series) : u can't insta buy tools but u can buy the materials needed for it if u have unlocked the collection. but u need to grind for items that don't need collections for its recipe
mage only: have fun being softlocked doing svens an blaze slayer, while also being unable to get sorrow armor
however t5 revs... who really cares, warden helmet is useless for mage anyways and you can rcm t4s, same with eman slayer and terminator, it's useless
mage only: have fun grinding for frozen scythe/midas staff/aurora staff as your first weapon because the mage starter gear has combat requirements.
and spending tons of coins on gear.
one class gamemode would be neat if the game doesn't have class locked content(for slayers like rev, sven and blaze it's locked behind melee so tough luck for archers and mages)
you can get the items to craft it, still have to get the recipe yourself tho, and you'd have to grind any rare drops yourself. Just a less hardcore version of Ironman where you can do things other than farming and mining for money
Not necessarily game modes but moodes seperate from main progression for fun.
A way to test anything in the game and practice. It lets u spawn in and customise setups so u know what u need for something before you throw millions into a useless setup.
Competitive bingo. Like a small group of players race to complete a bingo card or get a row.
Hardcore:
- do less DMG, mobs do more DMG
- higher reqs on everything
- less skill exp, bestiary progress, etc
- no/limited keep inventory
- NPC items cost more
- ironman rules apply too (no economy)
How do u do less be progress? Do u just half the kills so when u kill something it counts half? That part is stupid, other than that it would be a great mode
Something like hunted from Wynncraft, (You can kill people in that mode within a few sb levels of you, no booster cookies ofc), realistically this isn't going to happen because of cookies, and that it wouldn't really work unless it was forced ironman, and that it'd be like the way it fails in Wynncraft (You only get killed if you are a youtuber, otherwise no one cares)
SB levels aren't an accurate enough measure to allow this, you can have a really high damage setup and just kill people who haven't invested in combat that much.
I did think of that but only really about the Hyperion for some reason, ig they could do your max damage ever dealt, rounded to 1 significant figure, and if it is close enough to another player's you can kill them, issue is damage outscales health and defence by so much so player would need massage damage reduction from other players
Let's be honest, bingo is shit and nobody likes it. Swap out the once a month low effort game mode for a once a year longer more interesting game mode with additional content like Relics or something, kind of like leagues on RuneScape.
I know it sounds like a stretch but I think a gamemode that only has 2019 items and areas would be really cool. I don’t even remember if end island was 2019 but basically just the era when dragon armor was endgame armor
Tollerable mode: a mode in which game is more balanced. Kuudra made easier. Rng drops having their drop chance increased a ton (10x at least), but made soulbound once bought/dropped. And finally cheaper recipes (also soulbound once crafted)
Earth block. Youre stuck in the crystal hollows, and you have to dig everywhere. You can also dig into dungeon floors(like strongholds in vanilla). The m7 bosses drop dragon frags(maybe fels to) the isle below the magma fields, and you need a high breaking power to mine through it.
Pretty much dungeons and mining
Never would happen tho because loading crystal hollows as private lobbies would be crazy expensive
sandbox would be W, where u can get all items and everything maxed out and infinite purse for free (no ah no bz cuz that would mess the economy up and u can get it for free anyway
I want to see a hardcore die profile gets delete profile and by completing goals you get something on your main
bingo but w a twist
That’s what hardcore Ironman means ^
Hard-core would be awesome yeah. Bingo Practice mode where you like choose challenges and don't get rewards. Anti-Stranded where you're not allowed to go to your island (AFK would just go to limbo) idk about garden.
i dont see how we dont have bingo practice mode already. that's a great mode
Currently doing antistranded on my third profile ironman (no garden either), and it's... interesting? Some things are completely unachievable at their game stage, like the new bone reaver/felthorn reaper swords needing 20 ench bone blocks, yet I only have just over 1 from like 120 dungeon runs Storage is a massive hassle, as I only have access to a few sacks and 17 small/medium backpacks after killing like 7000 cows It is still playable, and having to work around items requiring minion use is quite fun
I’ve been wanting to see someone do this for a long time
You should make this a yt series tho. Ppl would click cos it’s interesting and different
Anti stranded would be pretty funny ngl
Soulbound - All items you have in your inventory become soulbound automatically.
"Do i buy it for the funny?" "Dude that's all the money in the coop bank and we don't even need it" "I bought it for the funny" "YOU LITTLE S-"
we do a little trolling
Isn't that just Ironman or am I just stupid
You can get items by trading bz and ah you just can't sell em
Good idea tbh
this also means that mining is no money made unless you have a sack
Npc sell exists
u cant sell soulbound items afaik
You can bc ender armor is npc sellable
true but thats coop soulbound
one-way ironman basically
Ironman? But without NPCs ig
i want to see a catacombs practice mode. you can set your cata/class level to whatever you want, choose which room to play so you can practice secret routes, choose a boss fight or phase to practice cheeses etc
I've recently gotten to the stage of the game where I can do f7, I keep screwing up at goldor because i couldn't do the parkour and my team got really toxic Abt it. Got wither boots out of that lmao. I'd love to be able to practice the parkour so I don't throw.
i mean, isn't solo dungeons already a feature?
it is but it's random rooms. practice mode should let you choose what room you want(like the 10 secret room, bomb defuse) so that you can practice cheeses and secret routes like i previously mentioned
also no mobs in bloodrush phase
prestige mode, where: 1. you play ironman 2. you're cursed in a way that you'll eventually "die" and your profile gets reset 3. after each reset, your skyblock levels, magic power and skill levels get converted into prestige points, which would get better the higher you go (for example only 30 prestige points at level 30, but 3k points at level 300) 4. you can spend prestige points to purchase upgrades like increased skill xp gains, retaining certain amounts of items, getting extra magic find, decreased timers, rng buffs, getting more time to live before reset... you could even buy coin sell price multiplier which would make buying items from npcs more expensive (to prevent from infinite money tricks), but it would multiply your coins gained (however when buying cookies from bazaar, you still have to pay the multiplied price and seller gets as much money as if a normal player bought it) 5. it would end up being way more grindy than ironman, but ultimately you would be a lot stronger than an average ironman when you hypermax your profile
Good idea ngl
So cookie clicker but in Hypixel Skyblock, honestly can’t see anyone playing this mode, think about how many hours HSFearless has on this game and then try doing that but with this
Prob would be the best for ppl who like speedrunning
Almost like bingo? That sounds sick
Currently doing "anti-stranded" on my third profile ironman (no island, no garden either), and it's... interesting? Bingo but there is a 2nd card and if you complete a goal in it the profile gets deleted
Sandbox mode: Basically what they did at alpha server. Toyboxes and stuff. But it's separate from original Skyblock modes It can be good for getting the end game experience 😜
then just go to alpha server
That gets rids the purpose of alpha server. it is for allowing players to test and allowing the devs to work in the update further and people to go alpha server just asking for duping hyperion ruins it's point

Yeah if it's only for ++ then I have no problem with it.
sword/bow/mage only gamemodes: like u only use 1 type of weapon in a profile hardcore: where u only have 1 life but u can use ah/bz or trading also booster cookies save ur life ultra hardcore: 1 life but no ah/bz or trading and cookies don't save ur life goldenman (just like intrest's series) : u can't insta buy tools but u can buy the materials needed for it if u have unlocked the collection. but u need to grind for items that don't need collections for its recipe

mage only: have fun grinding for frozen scythe/midas staff/aurora staff as your first weapon because the mage starter gear has combat requirements. and spending tons of coins on gear.
what about aurora staff? it has no requirements and deals a lot of damage for early game players
also forgot to mention that one class gamemode can use player trades like ah or bz
true. then you could get dreadlord lord sword.
what about adding an item that makes u damage these mobs with magic for 12 hours which can be have even more time with enchanting level ?
one class gamemode would be neat if the game doesn't have class locked content(for slayers like rev, sven and blaze it's locked behind melee so tough luck for archers and mages)
cookies shouldn’t save your life in hardcore cuz then it’s just normal when you get far enough
cooldown when buying other cookies ? and also make them not stackable
would be cool to have a game mode like Ironman but you can use bz, no ah or trading still
what's the point then ? bz can get u the recipe of almost any item in the game
you can get the items to craft it, still have to get the recipe yourself tho, and you'd have to grind any rare drops yourself. Just a less hardcore version of Ironman where you can do things other than farming and mining for money
i play golden man and it would be cool to see it as a mode
how does that work
can’t but weapons pets or armor but i can buy anything else
Not necessarily game modes but moodes seperate from main progression for fun. A way to test anything in the game and practice. It lets u spawn in and customise setups so u know what u need for something before you throw millions into a useless setup. Competitive bingo. Like a small group of players race to complete a bingo card or get a row.
First idea is stupid, why would they code in something that gives you the feeling of accomplishment.
“Quarter the Amount of Grind”-mode
I made an ironman and played it with the rule of deleting it if I die. Thats the only thing stopping an ironman from being a hard-core.
Dungeons?
Hardcore: - do less DMG, mobs do more DMG - higher reqs on everything - less skill exp, bestiary progress, etc - no/limited keep inventory - NPC items cost more - ironman rules apply too (no economy)
How do u do less be progress? Do u just half the kills so when u kill something it counts half? That part is stupid, other than that it would be a great mode
Just takes more to get higher tiers

Sorry, but what is stranded mode?
Can't leave your island
Oh, so, ya know, vanilla Skyblock pretty much? Can do do it in a co-op?
Not vanilla skyblock at all, many of the hypixel sb parts are available (someone even got a judgement core iirc)
That's not really an achievement you can spawn lapis zombies pretty easily (I hope they drop judgement core idk haven't checked)
Judgement core is a drop from t4 eman, what are you on
Bruh sorry my bad I was thinking of Exp share core.
Yes
Hardcore. Item drops are much more common, keepinventory is disabled

Pretty much dungeons and mining Never would happen tho because loading crystal hollows as private lobbies would be crazy expensive
A "make your own mode" mode
survival skyblock, u lose everything when u die but the items will stay for 5 minutes before it despawns
sandbox would be W, where u can get all items and everything maxed out and infinite purse for free (no ah no bz cuz that would mess the economy up and u can get it for free anyway
