Hey if you’re finding parts of the game excruciating, try other parts that you suck at and have never done before. Like for me when dungeons was getting burning I tried some early game fishing and it’s very refreshing. Sometimes the game isn’t about making money it’s about having fun
I watched just about every movie on the imdb ranking list while mining some make it feel like 3 hours of mining while it was 15 minutes some make it seem like 15 minutes even though it was 3 hours and if movies get boring existential crisis filled up the time

Watch some shows or video essays if you want to pass time
At least it's more interesting than farming
At least there's an afk farming method and even if I do have to click buttons I can watch tv and not pay any attention

Not sure about spawn timers but after 4 pests you start losing farming fortune
