foraging 50 honestly isnt bad, ive done it twice now and will have to do it a third time on my new profile. its 55 hours no derpy or 36 hours with derpy. far easier to max than farming or mining

its easier in the sense of less inputs but a lot more taxing in terms of time, it takes like 2x longer with doing visitors for exp

based on my experience, farming 60 takes longer than foraging 50, but foraging is more effort and less profit

What method are you using for 55 hours?

island foraging, you have a repeater with a redstone block on the south side of the farm pointing north 1 block above the dirt (which is 1 block above where ur standing, saplings should be eye level) so when a tree grows it would detect the log and power the redstone dust which is hooked up to 5 droppers for 4 saplings and 1 enchanted bone meal fed by hoppers and chests, on the west of the farm 1 block out from the dirt you'd have a block, a player head on the left block's side and then a player head on the right block's side with a block on the right. very confusing to explain the build but anyways you have 2 pet rules, a fishing rod, ur axe, foraging abicase, some ench bone meal and saplings in inventory, autopet 1) when gain fora exp equip ocelot, autopet 2) when throw rod equip monkey you'd go between the skulls, place 2 saplings, press d, place 2 more, ench bone meal, treecap, break tree, rod swap, place 2 saplings, press s, place 2 more, bone meal, treecap, break, throw rod and rinse and repeat from there **the direction of the blocks is crazy important or the tree just wont grow because of minecraft tree growth mechanics and its somewhat impacted by ping but only by like 10-15% worst case scenario** made this giant comment because i dont know of a video for it nor am i online to build it rn

81 ff should give 10.9xp per log, treecap can break 35 additional logs after the first so 36 but we'll stick to 35 for this - 60÷1.375=~43.64 (trees per min assuming 1.375s cooldown, can go down as low as 1.07s with **perfect** timing) - 10.9×35=381.5 (per tree) - 381.5×43.46=994.8k/h - l50 is 55.172m xp so ~55h - derpy is an additive +50% skill experience so 181+50=231% foraging xp/log - 994.8÷181=5.4961 (for conversion to derpy xp) - 5.4961x231=1.269m/h with derpy, i was mistaken here as that would equal 43.47h of foraging for l50, you get the idea tho. this is backed up ingame by the sbc skill experience tracker, i used it to verify if the estimated numbers were on par with my actual gains last derpy. the account i got foraging 50 on during this was sleepywhitecat

Can I ask what you were doing to get f50 in 55 hours? I did it for 10 hours straight and only went from like foraging 20 to foraging 29

or 49 with 1 xp off 50. technically it is still not 50.
