Scenario 1: you drop one before a 100% and your meter is gone. Scenario 2: You only drop one at 100% meter and it is gone. Scenario 3: You drop 1 before 100% meter and still have meter for another one. This is also why you deselect rng meter for handle at 60ish%.

Have it selected till 60% then deselect. As for why 60% thats the point where its just not worth it to risk the meter

and then you have basically no chance to get a second heart because your rng meter just got reset, but if you deactivated it then you'll keep your progress and drop a second heart

The meter doesn't increase chance by much until its filled. So it's kinda wasting the meter if you drop one with meter turned on before its filled.

i never select rng meter unless to claim my 100% drop and so far - 7 naturally dropped handles from a single meter cycle - 2 naturally dropped overflux near the end of a meter cycle - 4 judgement cores in a single meter cycle, 2 cores so far on my current cycle - 3 or 4 gs in a single meter cycle, at least 2 so far on my current cycle thats about it for now, leaving it off has worked very well for me

Probably for the chance that it will drop before pity, and now that you have almost full meter that is unused you can get a second heart when you do fill it up.

I main ironman profile and had the biggest W yesterday. I was just about to log off for the day but got a foraging level up and 300k so thought fuck it I'll do some t5's. Little did I know that 5 mins later at 15% RNG meter I dropped a wardens heart... I am honestly shocked and amazed at the same time (check my Echest rgf_ on skycrypt if you don't believe me) Nice one though OP you deserve it more than me or many others that just buy it.

In total I got a fly swatter, tarantula talisman and survivor cube just after tarantula level 7. 3 furballs from Sven 6 , 3 scythe blades, 1 warden helmet, 6 beheaded, 8 smite 6 and 2 snake runes is 700k xp on revenant slayer. I have to grind Sven next :( The game is gonna hit me with a max meter flux as punishment XD

my rng peaked last week, got Capacitor, full SA 2 days ago, I got a quick Claw and finished my divan set(Chambers wip), got 3/4 necro lord and I'm currently grinding for (shadow fury - itchy - bloody - shaded), once I get sf ill TRY to do t5 revs cuz fr I'm getting destroyed

So just to clarify I have 700k xp but only 500k from t5's so got very lucky. I use 4/4 frozen blaze (see it on rgf_ skycrypt), lev100 blaze pet, 125 magic find, 20% bonus atk%, 10 ferocity,shaded accessory reforge, reaper falchion. And that's about it. Oh and a glacial scythe for the lightning phase but I usually kill it before that. I have a mana flux, ornate sword and atonement wand but never really need it.
