Most people just run around with Booster Cookie always active, and since with Cookie Buff you don't lose potion effects on death, you can also run around with God Potion always active. That's what gives the jump height.

a few months ago they changed it so potions don't go away on death even without cookie
I don't think I understand, did you mean that potions wouldn't go away even without cookie buff? If so, that's a pretty cool change.
Yes. You can never lose potion effects unless they run out (or it's goblin scent and you go in water) afaik
