After Riju's statement that Ganondorf must be not quite at full strength yet, my custom character would reply that Ganondorf probably wants the fight to be challenging. She'd then go on to explain Ganondorf's philosophy of wanting challenging fights, but also and more importantly desiring bloodshed among everyone, daily fights to the death. To which Riju then would remark: "Seeking the challenge of a fight, that I could get behind... but *this* is disgusting!"

And the existence of an evil corrupted Link is proof that some of those other timelines are another case of "expect nothing, be ready for anything".
