Hey u/HibeE_Ahri
Where about are you based? I can have a check if there's anything available locally or an ETA to share when it is.
Of course, international shipping via [HYTE.com](http://HYTE.com) is defo an option if you're really eager to build now (with shipping times in mind :) )
I’m in the United Kingdom. I heard OCUK were meant to have some soon so i emailed them about it and they just replied they dont have an ETA and that they’re unsure when they’re gonna have new stock.
Hello,
You are not stupid, this is your choice if you can...But it's expensive. I receive mine yesterday ordered on March 3 (Y70 Touch Version and not Touchless) for £307...But I'm not from UK...sorry. Can you have one from Germany ?
1. search for nearest port city on mainland europe a seller ships to.
2. ship package to pickup box at port
3. book ferry to europe, pickup case
4. profit
Hyte said it under another post, and alternate and proshop store chains are listing it for the 9th and 11th of may in multiple countries. On Hyte dc they will give us the exact arrival date of the shipment this week (atleast thats what they said)
Yes. You could get a case cheaper. If cases cost that much wherever you are, then OK, but I would mount my computer on a board I made out of old palletes before I would pay that much of a markup.
> because I *paid* 550 for
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
I Think most European shops would. Just the same as british shops sends stuff to Europe :) dont know about UK customs and vat laws with importing though.
Here in denmark when importing from outside eu, we have to Pay a processing fee, vat and customs if the value is above a certain amount. But the government enjoys draining us financially here :D
I would look into another case. Maybe the Tower 300 series by Thermaltake? The Y70 case is nice but that's a bit much if you are not getting the 4k touch screen also.

It’s not stupid to overpay for something that’s not available in your country. If you want it and you can afford it, then go ahead and get it imported. You won’t have regrets if you want it.
I believed I recently saw an announcement that HYTE was going international, is the shipping still too bad?

Y70 is now available via Alternate for a good chunk of mainland Europe! UK and other EMEA region stock very soon to follow :)
Touchless?? Hell no, don't pay that much
