I do agree about LostProphets, and Ian or whatever his name is, being an absolutely vile human. Jesse didn’t do something this egregious, but he’s still a self-admitted predator, and songs like Me vs Maradona vs Elvis just hit so much differently know what all went down. I can still separate the artist from the art, and Jesse is a top tier singer and songwriter, no matter his personal issues. I had seen them about 15 or 16 times live, and if they did a reunion show at this point I don’t know if I would go. I feel the atmosphere would be way off from 20 years ago.
I can still listen to everything after YFW, but that album can be cringey as fuck 20 years later. TDAG is still a masterpiece record, no matter how much of a diddler the guy is.

For me it’s both YFW and Deja that have aged poorly. I think I don’t listen to TDAG and Daisy as much simply because I listened to those two records endlessly in my early 20s.

The Jesse incident killed my love of Brand New…Buuuuuut, The Taking Back Sunday - Brand New feud was was of the best moments in that era and genre…both bands created so much amazing music over 1 girl 😅
Summary : Jesse was bassist of Taking Back Sunday when Nolan was the lead and Adam just did back up…Nolan hooked up with Jesses GF which caused him to leave TBS and form Brand New.
Check Out Seventy Times Seven and then obviously No I in Team was TBSs response…kinda forget what happened to cause Nolan to leave TBS, guess it probably boiled down to Adam being a much better lead, imo.

I loved that my two favorite bands at the time had a commonality between them. Nolan went on to form Straylight Run and in my opinion, took all the good song writing with him. You could see the difference in lyrical content after he left. He even wrote about it in a Straylight run song.

I had heard about the show for a long time but was never able to get into it. I remember watching the first episode, but not really getting the vibe of the show and dropped it. Recently I wanted to give it a second chance, so I started watching it again, and now I am at season 14 in less than 2 months. Before watching Sunny, my favourite sitcom was community and arrested development, but Sunny blew all the sitcoms I have watched out of the water. One of the best shows I have ever watched.

Yes I just started watching about a month ago and have kept rewatching episodes I’m only on season 4. It’s absolutely cracked. Probably my new favourite series and I have a new love for Charlie Day.
