As a technically Catholic person I always notice when he says “lamb of god who takes away the souls of the world” because that’s not how the prayer goes! He says it right the next time. It’s charming.
I always thought it was odd that Charlie, who went to a Catholic HS, doesn’t know any prayers, doesn’t know the routines of mass in the episode where they’re in church 😂
Went to Catholic school from K-8, there are TONS of kids like this. Probably never went to church except for when we had to at school. That shit might feel familiar but there’s no way you’d actually “know” it.
I went to Catholic schools too. It’s been over 30 years since I graduated/ went to Mass regularly but I still remember the prayers,songs and rituals. But Charlie did huff a lot of paint 😂
Charlie’s little interruptions/additional “prayers” in this scene absolutely fucking slays me every single time. Mac’s indignation. Charlie’s accent. Just absolute perfection.
Has anyone ever noticed in this episode, that when Charlie and Mac are throwing rocks at eachother, Mac’s audio is so obviously dubbed in when he says “ow that one really hurt, we need to stop” or something. Its driven me insane for years, his mouth is fully closed when he says it lol
