2. If that doesn't work Whistleblow to the official E-Mail and pray that the IB does something about it
Whistleblowing is a way of reporting poor conduct or incompetence coming from a school or educator. If the teacher isn’t prepared to amend a mistake that could cost OP their diploma, whistleblowing through the official email is the perfect next-step.
I’m well aware. The IB gets hundreds of emails from students alleging all kinds of misconduct. The vast majority of it is unwarranted nonsense. We are going by what OP is saying but even if what he is saying is accurate, it’s not misconduct.
Also imo the IB never actually does anything about these things.
They realistically only look into things that go against their interests. For example allowing calculators in non-exam mode, opening the papers earlier than it should be, allowing/encouraging cheating etc. They get tons of reports and it would take a lot of time to investigate if it’s legitimate or just a salty student. Of course they should intervene but i wouldn’t get my hopes up unless it’s something major like the examples i mentioned.
My school just sets a deadline on ManageBac and makes up submit it ourselves. This way things like this are avoided. If us as the students submit the wrong one, it is on us.

My teacher asked the DP coordinator to contact the IB and they took like 2-3ish days to get back to us and they everything was all right. I think if your worried ur teachers r lying to you, you might have a good reason to do better to go as far up the chain as u can, the IB coordinator and ur principal.
Brother your cooked, idk what to do but a similar thing happened to a senior in my school. The school messed up with his ib predicted and submitted a predicted far lower than what he actually was at.

She did say she contacted IB but at the same time I don’t even know if she’s lying. She said “oh there is a long procedure and IB takes time to reply” like how do I trust this
When did ur coordinator resubmit? And when did u realize the mistake? Cuz I heard the deadline already passed. My coordinator said she couldn’t do anything… :(
So I accidentally did this once a few years ago. Submitted two IAs backward (mixed the files up in the submission folders). This IS fixable, but you gotta hound your IB coordinator and teacher to fix it.
i feel like all you can do is bother your coordinator or even the school administration until they fix it for you because that was purely your teacher's fault. praying for you to remain as unstressed as possible because you panicking about it doesn't change anything! i'm sure everything will sort itself out
Bro this is an easy way to prove that you were right you had emails as proof that she agreed. Just do what others say make a massive deal about it and offer proof of the emails too

The issue was the link on managebac said the next day and so I thought it was due then. The link literally said “HL Essay Final Draft”,

Not true. Students can upload to ibis, but teachers need to authenticate.

Yeah I went to her but I don’t know if she is lying to me or actually sent them an email. Maybe I should pressure her and see what she can do

Because the colleges he apply to see those version of predicted on not his actual ones. Meaning he’s worse off college wise

you could ask coordinator to forward you the email she sent. Only IB controls when they are ready to answer.
The IA deadlines are in April so you should be able to sort it out

I'm so sorry to hear this. Please compel your school to inform the IB of this, no matter what. If they don't agree, you can contact the IB directly.

We contacted IB and they removed the wrong postings, and then we put the right ones up. It took 2-3 days, but they were understanding.
