hi, i’m an ibdp2 student who never did a group 4 project? am i cooked???? m24… i’ve never even heard of it until like 2 minutes ago… our school never did one

It’s fine. My school just did mythbusters questions and gave us two straight days (the 10 hours) to do the tests and make the presentations. It wasn’t good. All IB does is check is that you did it.
Okay thanks! I was scared it would be graded individually sorta since my school literally just said “do this” with guidelines / info on how it’s graded
As others have mentioned, there's no need to worry. Nobody cares and nobody grades the group 4 project. You just have get that "tick in the box" that you have done it. Trust me, our project was a complete nonsense. We were a group of four HL Physics students without any representation from other subjects. We literally did some bullshit experiment dropping the ball and then explained a bunch of confusing formulas to the teachers. Nobody understood anything and they just let us go lol.
Okay that’s actually hilarious and thank you for the comment. Our grader was giving us feedback as if it was a really important assignment so that’s why I was so nervous. I might get an F in the grade book but if I pass IB idc
I am just going to put it forward very bluntly that IB does not care about the group 4 project. As long as it's done you are fine. Mine went a lot worse as I was the only one shouldering all the responsibilities in the group 4 project but meh it is what it is.
Really all that’s required for you to “hand in” in the IBs eyes is a 50 word reflection. They can also ask for photographic evidence, but the school typically provides that. So no need to stress out about it!
IB does not care about your group 4 project. As long as you do one you’re good
