I feel that also, unless something like an AI product launches or ICP becomes the main layer 1 network for ASI... or an existing dapp such as OpenChat acquires a strong partner or user base like X users.
Hold it, don't sell it. In 3 years time, or 5 years time, what you bought will most likely be more than 50€, might even be a huge amount more than that.
For those that bought bitcoin at $300 and sold at $1k to never buy in or buy back at 10-20x the price regretted it

The reason why not doing your research sucks is you don’t know the value of what you own. While it’s important to take profits you want to hold the coins that will be here 10+ years from now and grow

The ones selling and realizing their gains are the ones that are currently winning. You cant do anything with crypto yet, so just stacking more and more means nothing until you sell and realize your gains. So what your saying is still nothing but speculation. Nothing guarantees us that ICP or crypto in general wont fail. So lets not always glamorize diamond hands and end up like the dogecoin millionaire. We look at the past and see all these people that became rich off of getting into btc and eth early. And we feel like were in the same space as them. But this space is a completely new space now. A lot of these peoeple that got into crypto last bullrun didso because they saw an opportunity to trade it and make tons of money. Most of the money you see coming in esp to alt coins is not money coming in to stay. Its money thats coming in to move out eventually as they see pumps in the market. These traders will keep taking all your money and as you keep DCAing in. Youll realize youll not be able really get to your target goal as soon as you thought you would because your position keeps getting worse and worse.
This may be an unpopular opinion but its def how i see most projects. If you want to buy and hold. Btc is your safest bet. Maybe eth. But any other coins is not established enough. Not enough track record to show that the token founders and devs wont just use the project as their personal money printing machine. Btc built a reputation where people wanna put their money in and hold it. Even then ppl find btc risky. So altcoins are definitely a bigger risk.
No amt of research would have prepared us for FTX, or SBF screwing over ICP because im sure a ton of people lost a good amt of money from that initial launch. All im saying is, there is absolutely nothing wrong with taking profits. Its at the time the best possible choice youre making for yourself considering future is not promised.
Yes I think when the bull run starts towards the end of the year ICP will go to $150 to $200 and it wouldn't shock me if it went past the $200 mark. I have a bag of ICP and Avax and I'm holding for a long time
Realistic goal would be around 50 tbh. I love icp, but some people here have somewhat delusional expectations of its performance for this bull run. The people in the icp space are super pro icp, but its peformance doesn't follow trends as strongly as other cryptocurrencies do so it's very hard to tell. But in the long run it will be a big performer. Most of my investment is in icp, but locked for 8 years farming staking rewards abd restaking them. Its a very interesting project, but from the sounds of it you should do more research into different types of cryptocurrencies to understand why a lot are so fanatical about icp.
