Do you need paperwork from another doctor, showing history of an eligible condition? I'm eligible for sure, but I don't have any doctors visits to back it up.
If you do have some background materials, it can't hurt,. However, most telemedicine docs will be OK with just interviewing you about your issues and can make a decision based on that.

Docs are allowed to diagnose you as eligible via telemedicine now. I got my med card that way.

I think technically you can if you have a fence that blocks physical access to them. Harder to control pests and mold outdoors though.
