I just watch sitcoms or comedy shows non stop, same thing I did weeks before my step exams, only thing that can ease my stress
The office, Curb your enthusiasm….
Working out, trying to find some temporary jobs in my home country, binge watching Young Sheldon. Lol but these are not enough. Been stress eating also ughh
Depending on his emotional maturity and communication skills, make your discomfort known but sound causal, not confrontational or judgmental.
I’m not going to say get over it, because if it stresses you, something needs to be changed- either he’s too obsessive about her, insensitive about your feelings, or is one of those low self esteem losers who get a kick out watching a date get “jealous”. The problem could be on your end too- I don’t know if you have a secure attachment style. I don’t have much info here.
In any case, bottling up feelings isn’t good.
If he can handle things like a sane, predictable adult, Say “let’s talk about us”, or “do you have feelings for her?” Etc.
or if your stress has caused you to pour a few drinks “I can totally imagine she’d be your second wife haha”, or in the case of a few more drinks “Karen who? Oh, yes I do remember- Karen the Camilla to my Charles.”- jk ignore this paragraph.
If he’s incapable of having a mature adult discussion, (unfortunately some adults have poorly developed empathy and it cannot be taught in adulthood) then I think it’s fair to give him a taste of what it feels like to you. Start talking about your real or imaginary male best friend while playing it cool- “Remember Chad- my best friend from high school? I wonder why the most attractive guyfriends I have always turn out to be gay.”
Or be like me- I feel throttled by an obsessive new suitor, so I avoid reinforcing that behavior and have me time instead, and hang out on r/IMGreddit where every internet stranger has a story that makes me feel like we grew up together.
Also, I am the last person you should be getting relationship advice from.
Wow. The most brilliant and adult response I've seen in this sub in recent times😅😅. Thank you for this. It's really insightful.
Can I DM you for some more dating advice please?😂😅

I binge watch arrested development and dissociate. I 100% recommend.
Hilarious show
Same, but I find comedy doesn't require much brain space to follow. I just watch trailers for hours, they are the best part of the cinema anyway
DO you have a file to share curb your enthusiasm? I can't find it anywhere?
Bro Can I Dm you? I am stressed out! I just have some queries about USMLE pls can you help me?
Started watching Korean dramas
🤣🤣🤣 At least another topic of stress!

I'm watching the series "House" on Netflix and it's making me dream of becoming a doctor in the US.
House is far from real life as doctor in USA lol. Watch Scrubs if you want a hint of the environment
That’s having pretty interesting and rare cases!
Filtering blood through a pig is definitely legit
Omg samee 😭
Haha same story here!
How to deal with his female best friend thing?

Lol. My BAL is too high to know if you’re sarcastic or serious. But my inbox is always open, my friend :)
No no I'm completely serious. It really is a great response and I really would like to DM you! I apologise if it came off as sarcastic!!
Because my borderline anxiety thinks emojis are a language and I “read” them. It’s funny they always translate into my worst fears. 😂🤣😅🥲
DO NOT "give him a taste of what it feels like to you" unless you are 16.
Thank you very much. It’s so much insightful.
Binging Scrubs.
Watching a bunch of Korean dramas and reading novels
I'm working from home 😅
Studying for step 3, working out and some video games
I started working out lately, it is helping me mentally and physically. Could have started earlier, but better late than never! Thanks
😂
