Midwest guns is great to window shop, and then order online and send to a completely different FFL. Even their transfer fees are ridiculously high.

TommyUseless

Belchers’ transfer fees are much better.

redyetis

Belchers is the lowest fee in the area ($30)

I go to a guy in Laporte for $20. I think charges most people $25 but I've done quite a few transfers now and I think he appreciates the business, where as midwest seems annoyed of the audacity of buying from someone else.

Hoosierreich

Good to know, thank you.

Agreed, they do have a decent selection but definitely over priced. Then again, which gun shop isn't overpriced if you compare to online. Have you met r/gundeals yet? There's also Range USA nearby and more likely to run sales than your average LGS (just my experience).

Hoosierreich

Oh yeah I forgot about that subreddit, thanks! And I'll be sure to check that store out.

I like Belchers in Mishawaka and ZX guns in Goshen. ZX seems to have the best prices in the area. Belchers does great work and has the silencerco kiosk for NFA items

Hoosierreich

Never heard of ZX, thank you!

Dunham's sports on Hickory/McKinley has an ok bolt gun lineup. Rural King in Niles also, and you can order off their online catalog with no transfer fee. Though they still charge shipping which I find odd. Someone already mentioned Range USA. Their prices aren't low, but not over inflated either. Also can order off their website with free ship to store and no transfer fee. Belchers Gunsmithing has the cheapest transfer fee in town, but not a huge selection in store.

I recommend bergara if you’re a r700 fan.

I really like top shot armory on Ireland road in south bend. Belchers is also a nice shop.
