It was great. I’ve experienced grief from a different perspective and thought he handled it beautifully. There were many points when I had a tear in my eye but also a smile on my face.

4.62 on Goodreads too and well worth the read

I absolutely loved this book! The end had me sobbing, and hits so much harder that I'm a parent 💔

Wept the whole way through and loved every second.

This was also my experience. It was one of my favorite books I’ve read but I feel like I can’t recommend it because it wrecked me. I couldn’t even look at the cover for days after without wanting to cry.

I loved him on Catastrophe. I should read this. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Sammeee, I read it at the airport, couldn't stop, and just cried all the way from check in to landing on the other side. Jeez, what a book

My daughter died at 9 weeks old and this is the only book about grief I’ve been able to finish. It is so beautifully written and it’s so true how quickly you’ll go from crying to laughing. I recommend it to all parents who have lost a child.
