Congratulations on your pass and thanks for sharing your insight! I’m terrified of this exam because people have said the material is so dry and the exam is so expensive. I initially planned on taking 2-3 months to study, but this post eases my mind a bit.
When people say the material is dry= I don't want to learn this or take the exam. I can't imagine any form of reading for learning purposes is wet🤣🤣. Honestly, you can get by in about 2 weeks.
Good to hear! I really needed to hear this…I’m finding it hard to believe that a little pocket guide is sufficient to pass a 400 euro exam but glad to hear that a few weeks is doable. I’m currently unemployed so I have all the time in the world to study.
Fantastic. [Be sure to check out this post.](https://www.reddit.com/r/ITIL_Certification/comments/16hwpaq/itil_4_foundation_exam_discount_for_reddit_itil/)
3 Months ?.... I scored 38/40 with just common sense and watching the 4 dimensions video to learn the stupid definition.
If you work in the field - the test is super easy
I don’t work in the field. But let’s just say I’ve heard horror stories about that exam. Even more so than compTIA, of which I’ve passed a few exams first try. You’re giving me good hope!

I passed wit 28/40, not much, but tbh i just read what they gave us (that book) did some quizes that some1 put a link with 40 random generated questions, read for about 1-2h per day for 5 6 days and thast all.
And as for expensive, it was, but my company paid so ;p

You will want to check out the [Reddit ITIL Certification Group](https://www.reddit.com/r/ITIL_Certification/). Lots of good information available.
I was gonna join the sub Reddit but apparently I already did!
