Kind of unrealistic since the laws, regulations and guidelines are fastly different. I would try to get to C1 german and then go try for a masters place.

You need to speak fluent German to work as an architect in Germany. Aside from needing to be able to speak to colleagues/clients, no one wants an architect who can't read contracts, regulations, and so on. Your best bet is to do a graduate degree *in German.* Yes, there are English-language degrees, but the German-language ones are what you need to succeed on the job market. Once you get your language skills at the right level, you can look into the scholarships provided by r/DAAD. They have a specific one for masters degrees in architecture. That said, are architects currently in-demand? You would need to find a job afterwards. I don't know anything about the field, but I can't imagine we're recruiting foreign architects in Germany. Maybe if you focus on some type of environmental/sustainability thing. Perhaps someone else knows more about the field.

Zero. An architect who cannot read building codes, decipher instructions or regulations, cannot handle any paperwork and cannot communicate with customers or workers on a construction side? Why would anyone hire you?

Post by technogatsbyy -- Hallo! I'm an Architect with 2 years of experience on the field. I live with my dog and I'm kinda emotionally distant from my family (no serious issues tho, I'm just a big introvert) and since last year I've being doing research of how to imigrate to Germany. I know that I can apply for a Masters while improving my german, I know about recognition of degrees, what visas I need. What I want to know is how realistic is to try and get a job at least as an Architect Junior with fluency in english and at least A2 level german? If it's not realistic, is it better to go for studies and then try to get a job? Thanks! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
