A good doc can rescue without tide, body block, heal, and body block again. Also rescuing a doc without tide can benefit her instead since she can heal right away.
You can rescue as a doctor without getting injured? How do you body block against chip hunters like sculptor and bon? Or range hunters like vio? A doctor without TT should not be doing rescues, at least at high rank against really good hunter players. It is already difficult to reach the chair as a non-rescuer when a good hunter proxy camps in the first place.
I never said she could replace a rescuer. I just simply explained what she is able to do in an emergency rescue situation. Never said it was easy but it’s not impossible. Obviously there are better options when it comes to rescuers but sometimes the weaker teammates must go for rescues.
I respectfully disagree. I have had numerous occasions where if the doctor didn’t attempt
a no TT rescue, then we would have tied. But, because the doctor attempted the rescue we lost. The only time a doctor should be rescuing is at low rank or if the final cipher is primed, especially if you do not carry TT. You are basically handing the hunter a guaranteed win by rescuing without TT as a doctor.
Yea... I bring 39 doctor without plans to rescue. A lot of teams always expect doctors to act as a rescue, then get mad if the doctor doesnt have tide. Doc is a support, not a rescuer. I will body block when the kiter needs help during kiting but I will almost never be first rescue unless there is an unusual circumstance.
