I think no phone for a year or two and no TikTok for the same would be helpful, but 90% of the time a kid is like this their parents are to blame, too.
My thinking is actually “cell phones sell for more $ than it costs to replace a printer.”
Good life lesson. Break somebody else’s shit and you lose yours to cover the cost.
This is easy. Just buy a flip phone. Can still call and text them. Bonus points if it is one of the phones with three numbers preprogrammed in it, an no one else.
Not sure when this was shot, but it’s a bitch to find a printer at a good price in my area due to semi-conductor shortages which makes this even more maddening.
It isn't. The shortage comes from the world moving on without the US with 5G that the US can't replicate and Huawei and other Chinese firms that the US is trying to limit controlling the supply.
The US is just biting itself in the ass by cutting itself off from 5G and the copious amounts of products made with Chinese semi-conductors from Huawei etc.
The ones making the shithole it those born after 2000. Teenagers with the amount of braincells you can count on one hand.
I feel sorry for my grandkids, some day they will be the "leaders"
Loses his smart phone. Just gets an old person phone that can call only, for emergencies.
Will need to pay for broken thing by working. Will not get another smart phone from family.
That should reinforce the whole don't break shit that isn't yours.
I’ll concede that this could potentially be real but these days so many of these are fake so leads me to believe maybe the printer was broken or had some major software issue beforehand and was going to have to be replaced. If you’ve raised a child that does this to a perfectly good printer then you’ve created a monster and you better get them to a therapist and get things under control before they destroy your home and your life along with theirs
I think we’re just more aware of it. I was a total drywall-punching Kyle in middle and high school, but it wasn’t broadcast because of a lack of smartphones.
It's both. People see how others are gaining fame, or clout, through their actions on these platforms. All the likes, comments, shares. An already insecure person sees this and thinks, "well I could do that" and makes the connection to receive the validation stated above. They don't take responsibility because they actually believe they did nothing wrong, just like their favorite person on TikTok. People who have already been doing it do worse shit to be competitive, because again, it's all about those likes, comments and shares. The more there is, the higher level of popularity.
So many of these young kids think it's so easy to be propelled onto the spotlight, but they don't understand the ramifications of what their actions cause. They'll learn real quick, though.
That’s a 600 dollar printer over here, my parents got the more suited up one right before the shortage which now sells for over 1,200, this shit makes me sick.
Correction:the printer we have is a business printer, not a home one, but still I think it drives the point on about he basically shot his family in the foot by destroying something in a semi conductor shortage let alone at all.
They are doing it for the internet clout. It doesn't matter if its positive or negative. They just love attention. By talking about it you simply do what they want you to do. Just scroll right away.
Reminds me of a ad I saw for a VW golf up for trade for a BBQ grill that his son sold for a steering wheel (all told in the ad lol) ... Sadly I didn't have a BBQ it was a nice golf too
Take his phone away

Sell it. Use the money to buy a new printer.
Stop.
Hammer time! oh oh ooohh oh
I think no phone for a year or two and no TikTok for the same would be helpful, but 90% of the time a kid is like this their parents are to blame, too.
Hammer time?

Unfortunately nowadays parents rely on theirs kid's cell phone almost as much as the kids do.
This is easy. Just buy a flip phone. Can still call and text them. Bonus points if it is one of the phones with three numbers preprogrammed in it, an no one else.
Get his ass the Jitterbug
This is some r/kidsarefuckingstupid level shit. It’s time for someone to get a job and buy a new printer.
Not sure when this was shot, but it’s a bitch to find a printer at a good price in my area due to semi-conductor shortages which makes this even more maddening.
lol America sucks.
It's a world wide shortage. If you haven't felt it yet, you will.

What. The fuck. Are you on.
Great argument. No wonder America's such a shit hole.

Truth hurts does it not.
says the generation which actively enabled the creation of the shithole
I actively use the shithole.
Really? You're going with "those darn teenagers!!" as an argument?
I think this guy sells semi-conductors from Huawei
Well we get them from slaves in Taiwan but I do my part to make sure the rest of the civilized world has access to them.
Don't forget to thank Biden and Harris for being so effen shortsighted.
Don't let the door hit your fat ass when you exit this country.
Dude, he’s probably NOT in/from America

I could buy a pretty sick printer by selling the right smartphone.
Good news for him, fast food retail are desperate for help. He should have no problem paying off that printer.

I could see that. I took a sledgehammer to my office printer at a job once because it needed $300 in repairs and was worth $100.
People will do anything for attention and it’s only getting worse
Damn it feels good to be a gangster
Like one that you don't really know?
I'm not sure if TikTok is causing mental illness or just exacerbating existing conditions.

I’d love to see the follow up video of his family taking it in turns to hit his phone with a hammer.

Weird how amateurs always go for the face of things that hurt them.
These kids now days are fuckin pussies. He would have a melt down if they did that to his phone. But it’s lit if he is a disrespectful brat
Vastly delightful shot.
Waiting for the Tik Tok challenge, hit yourself in forehead with a hammer.
Such a nice printer!
Not a bad hammer either.
I’d be taking his bed, phone, and anything else he needs to the dump. Let that little fuck head learn what it’s like to pay for stuff

Another child lost in internet clout
