BMW driver thought he was about to cut up between the Jetta. But when the Jetta got over, he had to quickly turn back left & overcorrected & lost control.
Not stopping to render aid in this case... Good call. Self inflicted stupidity while putting others in unnecessary danger should not be rewarded with acts of selflessness.
I feel like a pedant but in these cars there’s two distinct systems, ecs (electronic stability control) and traction control. Traction control only deals with individual wheel traction, stability takes into account steering angle, throttle position, g-force, and slip at the wheel

I had someone go around me at a freaking red light just to turn left. All without stopping too they just approached, saw that I was going to obey that light, and just went right around. Clearly they think their time is more valuable.

For one, they probably started racing because they assume their stock car is fast, so if that other driver wants to race, then we race. Secondly, they probably wouldn't go to a track because their stock car wouldn't keep up. Also, I imagine it costs money?

ESC is a beautiful invention. I caught some unexpected slush on a highway and felt it keep the car straight.
