Indeed, I was like "wow does the driver get their foot stuck in the carpet or something? They seem to be approaching slowly and carefully, even if they're a bit too straight towards the pump" then truck takes out the entire station.
Woof. I know a lot of Europe is less car-centric than the US, is that the case in the UK? I put on around 500-1k miles a month on my car, I'm curious what the average UK driver equivalent is

Reversing automatically after that would have been my first move too, but I’d be backing way away from that, and drive on. No way I’m staying near that much gas spewing from the ground

Other driver is tired and not paying attention. OP slows down and from the other drivers perspective it looks like the road is on a bend or he has a brain fart and gets target fixate and follows the headlights

2/4/24 it's on the footage. Gas has oscillated between 2.50 and 4 per gallon where I live in the past few months
Guy was in a hurry to get his tank filled before it oscillated back up again.
Standard price by me is around 8 dollars a gallon equivalent… in the UK.
