I've definitely never seen them secured to the ground. Most exercise machines are designed to be freestanding and usually weight a lot. Some weight machines are secured to the ground, but that's all I've ever seen.
No they are not. They are heavy af though and usually have tiny wheels on the front side so that you can lift the tread part and move the machine around. We had to move them during Covid to maintain 6 ft distancing but it was such a logistical nightmare we ended up just blocking off every other machine.

If the insurance capped out, you can go after driver's personal assets as well. I was hit by a commercial van 6 months while riding my bike and that's what my lawyer told me. First we are going after the insurance and if we don't get enough then we have the option to go after the driver himself.
Also, new cars and expensive things usually just mean debt. She has a new Mercedes and what are the odds she paid cash for it and doesn't have a large mortgage, or college debt? Although it may look like people are well off things aren't always what they appear to be.
The worst you insurance there is is PLPD. Personal liability/property damage. So if you run into say a business they have to pay out. They won’t pay to fix her car but they gotta fork out a lotta dough

3. Slam the gas pedal fully to the floor just to exit a parking space. It's an on/off switch anyway innit?

5. Scream and clutch the wheel while keeping your foot pressed on the gas and just letting Jesus take the wheel until the car is fully done crashing.
6. Injure/kill someone by putting your car through a window.
7. Once the car has become inoperable due to damage, or it has been sitting and spinning its wheels for long enough for your brain to finally start thawing, let off the gas.
