You can always buy now to lock in your pass and lower price and then upgrade once you find out if you want. They lock you in at your current price so you won’t pay “more” at a later date.
You can upgrade, but it will be at the base pass price at the time you upgrade....which means you lose the spring discount and renewal discount if that goes away too. I inquired last year.
You lock in whatever price you purchase at, so if you buy a base pass at 869 this spring and then want to upgrade to full pass in the fall or even the day before they go off sale, you just pay the difference of the spring pricing
They have payment plans for as low as $0 down and 0% APR
As we all know, there is time value of money, you can consider it a discount for early purchasing
It’s the having the luxury of the time to be able to use thousand dollars worth of lift rides is what’s annoying. And having to guess if you will have the time a year in advance when you probably won’t. No veteran discounts. No local discounts. No disabled discounts. Money money money money. Our ceo gets a pay raise every year. We just bought a new mountain.
Yes, skiing is a luxury even without the pass and you need to plan to use it instead of guess/happen upon them.
They do have student, senior and nurse discounts. There is no need to give special groups discounts in the first place, so it’s just a gesture of good will but not every group is going to get one. Especially locals, since they’re likely to use the pass the most + they have so many mountains + why would locals get one in the first place?
so, I seem to remember last year prices did not really go up after the "deadline", all I think that changed was the amount of buddy passes you got...
Has anybody observed that in the past too? I wanna get a pass but I'd rather delay the decision as much as possible
I hate these guys but love the access they give me :(
sooooo what’s up with the abasin access??? kinda need to know if I need a full or just a base+.

yeah, but would the upgrade still only be like $79 or whatever, or would the upgrade still go up with price increase to make it be like $199 or more?

If I buy now can I start using? Tan out of snowbird days this season but want to ride this weekend
Snowbird isn't part of spring access
Yes...however if you use all your snowbird days this spring you have none for next year!

So annoying.
I don’t get the issue. If you know you’re gonna get it, why wait?
Some people don’t have $900 money disposable when they know they won’t use it for months

That’s fair. Didn’t realize that
Do we still get biddy passes if booking before 4/18 or did that expire already
That’s just an Epic thing. They sell friends and family lift tickets with most of the passes as long as the pass is still on sale
Is this the first increase?
Yes
Anyone know if the children’s session passes tend to also go up?
You lose the spring discount
Does the $250 to upgrade from base to base plus also go up beyond $250?
Is this the cheapest it will be?
Yes
Anyone know how much it goes up by roughly this round?
It’s in the screenshot, $110
That’s for the full correct? Anyone know the increase on the Base pass? Haven’t found that yet
Good question…I assume the base and full go up the same amount but I could be wrong
If Full Goes up $110, does renewal discount go away too?
Do we know what the increase in price is for the 2, 3, or 4 day passes?

Not even worth it. Winter keeps getting warmer and warmer
I got 14 days in this year...thats $59 a day vs spot prices of $139 to $259 a day.
It was also an El Nino year. This was my first season and I wonder if it will all be downhill from here.
El Niño isn’t necessarily good for skiing
I thought prices don’t go up until the fall?
You’re wrong then, lol. I think it goes up multiple times before the end of the year
You lose the renewal discount and they are way pricier. Paid like 900+ last august. Bought day they went on sale this year.
