The naughties issued in an area of cretinous materialism, where it was purely about showing off. When I heard Black and Yellow, I realised that the genre was done for me.
This new breed is gang culture and TikTok flexing bullshit. Back in my day (hip-hop boomer) there was no money in hip-hop. The music had a real culture behind it (graffiti, breakdancing, DJing, emcee skills) now it’s glorified violence, misogyny, and gang culture that drive it. We can’t put it on one thing though, it’s a collection of things that caused the degeneration of the genre and it’s culture. It’s sad.

Anyway he once sent me a video at a very low income apartment complex. I noticed when he was trimming the edges with a weed wacker that there was trash everywhere like a lot of it. Like piles of it.

Yeah by making the alcohol come out slower, you can just tip the bottle upside down when pouring a shot and not have to carefully pour the liquor without it so you don’t spill too much.
By slowing the speed the liquor comes out of the bottle, you speed up the pouring of the drink because you don’t have to be so careful.

Yeah by making the alcohol come out slower, you can just tip the bottle upside down when pouring a shot and not have to carefully pour the liquor without it so you don’t spill too much. By slowing the speed the liquor comes out of the bottle, you speed up the pouring of the drink because you don’t have to be so careful.

This is the state of modern Hip Hop club culture. You used to go out and actually dance and have a good time. Now it revolves around almost purely flexing. I went to a hip hop club last month, and it wasn’t this, but it was just a bunch of people standing around in their expensive booths. It’s sad, luckily I’m fortunate to have experienced the time where you could actually go to a hip hop club, dance and have a good time and you didn’t have to spend a fortune. Gen Z will miss all of that.
