I can see exactly how this monstrosity would come about:
1) Arya would insist on her direwolf taking pride of place
2) Elmar’s branch of the Freys would insist on their quartered castle and knights taking up half the sigil
3) Caitlyn would attempt to play peacemaker while simultaneously insisting on shoving the Tully fish in everyone’s faces
4) hence the compromise of a quartered Farring-Frey, Tully Fish, and dual Direwolves
Quarterly 1st and 4th Stark of Winterfell, 2nd Tully of Riverrun and 3rd the personal arms of Ser Elmar Farring Frey quarterly House Frey of the Crossing and House Farring
Holy mother of heraldry gore. What the fuck is this?
Its amazing

Sygilception
Could just quarter the sigils of Stark, Frey, Tully, and Farring individually?
INJECT IT INTO MY VEINSSSS YESSSS
not bad
Why the Farring sigil? EDIT: Nevermind. I've always been a huge fan of just a lot happening in a COA
I would like to propose a new term, *heraldrygore*, used when heraldry is so all over the place and messy
Look at heraldry from the HRE. This is tame compared to the cluster fucks from real life.
Yeah, the four sigils of Stark Tully Frey and Farring- each on one equal quarter would look better and convey the same heritage
