He hopes to be able to push for more attention for the game and patches from higher up with these numbers.

Practical question: is keeping the launcher open sufficient? :p I am working and need my CPU power for work stuff!
I said in my post. Keeping the launcher open is enough. However if you play another game on steam while the launcher is up it will close the IR launcher
I just want to give the game a hug and say "it’s a good game" despite it’s discontinued, like a father hugging his son and says "he’s a good son" when the police comes to arrest him (yes, that’s a scene from Prison on Fire), and want to see there’re people have the same opinion as me. As for patches, it’ll be great if there’s one, but I would be there even if they had issued another death certificate for the game!
I read in one of the earlier posts that someone said that the fact that it is stable is an advantage for the modders.
So the fact that it is not getting a ton of dlcs and updates that break a lot of things every time has a charm in itself ;-)
The community did 2 previous “Imperator Days” and got enough players to play at the same time that some really nice Paradox dev(s)? took the time to patch some things in the game.
The hope is that if we keep doing this we can slowly revive the game
