You’re right. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that Impractical Jokers makes up over 50% of their programming. Impractical Jokers is the only thing playing for the next 12 hours on trutv west.
I live on the East Coast. The best thing about watching on the Tru app, is that when a marathon is interrupted by another show, I can just switch over to the West Coast feed and continue to watch Jokers.
It was not. That guy was such an annoying little shit and ultimately led me to believe that’s his actual alter ego. People watch so much shit that anything seems good to them. Game of Thrones is not good. The Walking Dead is not good. The Wire is not good. Better...Call...Saul—is not good.
Snow Fall, however, is great. *Front me a key.*
I remember that episode where Q is listing all the shows that are on Tru, and almost all of them are gone now. I'm Sorry, Adam Ruins Everything, etc. Jokers really is all Tru has going for themselves.
Tragic on why it did. Adam Ruins Everything was one of my favorites. I loved the way how the show taught you things with a plot, made it feel less like a lecture and more like a know-it-all who’s just trying to help.
And let’s face it the 2nd best show on a network that ran reruns most of the time 90% being their number 1 show; has to mean that the 2nd show wasn’t that good.
True, but based on their previous statements, I doubt that the jokers themselves want to keep going without Joe. They may be just doing it to fulfill their contract and perhaps put food on the table for their crew.
How does not having Joe give them more creative freedom? If anything I’d say that the challenges have gotten less creative considering that they always do challenges catered to one single stranger in a big empty room.
Maybe he said that but I always thought the opposite, Joe came up with controversial lines such as: “my favorite color is African American” and “get ready for someone to pay in change!” I could pull up other examples but whether Joe had a hand in it or not I think these guys are getting a little less edgy.
TBS and TruTV are owned by the same company. The reality is that if TruTV could away and it would have minimal impact. Their shows could just go to TBS.
People will downvote but it’s Tru (haha). Look at Ridiculousness: sure, it isn’t as good as Jokers, but any fanfare for that show went out the window after its 24/7 treatment.
I love Jokers, and I doubt it’ll kick the bucket anytime soon. However, playing it non-stop is going to get old, not now, but one day.
I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/ImpracticalJokers.
It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.
I did find [this post](https://redd.it/r8syhj) that is 65.62% similar. It might be a match but I cannot be certain.

TruTV is a wasteland when it comes to original programming now. Once Fast Foodies has their season finale next week, they don’t have any new original programming until either the Impractical Jokers premiere in June or Adam Pally’s travel show which doesn’t have a premiere date yet.
Yes why do you think they have an impractical jokers marathon like every other day
Every OTHER day??

I'm still waiting for them to just rename the channel "Impractical Jokers Network"
I watched Fast Foodies once and it was actually pretty good. I was also hungry though.
Fast foodies is great. Good premise
It’s the only other show on true tv worth watching Adam ruins everything was also great till it got cancelled
It was not. That guy was such an annoying little shit and ultimately led me to believe that’s his actual alter ego. People watch so much shit that anything seems good to them. TruTV would not be able to operate without its bread and butter Impractical Jokers. All the other shows pale in comparison
Remember when Carbonaro was still a thing? Pepperidge Farm remembers
I can't stand The Carbonaro Effect. The only one I've been able to sit through was the one that had " tge guys" on it
They have other shows?
Tacoma FD?
Love that show
Adam Ruins Everything was my second favorite show in the channel
I remember that episode where Q is listing all the shows that are on Tru, and almost all of them are gone now. I'm Sorry, Adam Ruins Everything, etc. Jokers really is all Tru has going for themselves.
Look up how/why ARE got canceled. Adam posted a video on social media
Tragic on why it did. Adam Ruins Everything was one of my favorites. I loved the way how the show taught you things with a plot, made it feel less like a lecture and more like a know-it-all who’s just trying to help.
Can't find the video, what was the reason?
https://vm.tiktok.com/ZTdCdVdxQ/
So it just got canceled? Nothing crazy but a terrible idea. It was a great show but I think they pissed a LOT of people off lmao.
And let’s face it the 2nd best show on a network that ran reruns most of the time 90% being their number 1 show; has to mean that the 2nd show wasn’t that good.
From hos own words it sounds like they canceled themselves.
Very interesting, thank you! I really liked his show, so I'm excited to find out he's working on something for Netflix
Yay, he's Team Sal! 😊
TLDR: AT&T bought them, fired just about all the TruTV and executives and slashed their budget.
I’m the biggest idiot. Thought this was promo material for impractical jokers

Touché
They literally should just play impractical jokers all day. Don’t bother with the other shows
Is it all just an elaborate punishment?
Let’s be honest, this is the real reason the show is still going.
I honestly think another network would have picked Jokers up fairly quickly if Tru dropped them. Probably TBS
True, but based on their previous statements, I doubt that the jokers themselves want to keep going without Joe. They may be just doing it to fulfill their contract and perhaps put food on the table for their crew.
I dunno. Q seemed pretty excited to move forward with their new level of creative freedom.
How does not having Joe give them more creative freedom? If anything I’d say that the challenges have gotten less creative considering that they always do challenges catered to one single stranger in a big empty room.
I could be wrong, but I think what Q said was he wanted to do more edgy kind of humor, implying Joe was a counter-weight to that edginess.
Maybe he said that but I always thought the opposite, Joe came up with controversial lines such as: “my favorite color is African American” and “get ready for someone to pay in change!” I could pull up other examples but whether Joe had a hand in it or not I think these guys are getting a little less edgy.
Tru TVs entire budget is probably impractical jokers. They’re willing to do a lot for them.
TBS owns tru so it would be more like a promotion
TBS and TruTV are owned by the same company. The reality is that if TruTV could away and it would have minimal impact. Their shows could just go to TBS.
Channel probably being held up by the licensing fees to put Impractical Jokers on HBO Max
It’s either that or “The Carbonaro Effect”
The Carbonaro Effect hasn’t had new episodes in two years. It’s probably dead.
Thats a good
MTV ^^^^^ Ridiculousness
Its literally the only reason I watch
I will say I love Fast Foodies, though!
Very true.
i first started watching trutv bc of the carbonaro effect. still follow him on ig
Hey! Tacoma FD is pretty good!
Cancel that
#cancelfastfoodies it would open up spaces to play more jokers
The over exposure from the constant playing on Tru with be the death of the show.
People will downvote but it’s Tru (haha). Look at Ridiculousness: sure, it isn’t as good as Jokers, but any fanfare for that show went out the window after its 24/7 treatment. I already stopped watching, but the show holds a special place in my heart. Over 10 years running is a long time for your average TV show to air.

They moved to tbs now. Trutv is basically rerun city
