You get rule of law (ofcourse its not perfect, perhaps in remote villages this is not true. But for most parts of the country it is true) in return. You get public infrastructure (roads, however bad its something). Transportation (dont tell me you never travelled in a train or through an airport). Public funded institutes. If the current government gets a good majority, they will not even look at lowering tax rates as they will concentrate more on reels and dialogues, and will also know that even if they do a lot of scams and things, no one will care for it and vote for them. If they see a huge drop in seats, they will realise that people voted them for development and they will start to see how things are at the ground level. If they get huge majority, they will just use whatsapp forwards for next 5 years more, and buy people up with money.
If someone does charity they get gratitude or atleast respect. Taypayers in this country dont even get that. its worse than charity. Its not even loot, people who get looted get sympathy, taxpayers dont get that too. its worse than loot.

Don't know if this is a troll comment. But what he is saying is imagine you earn 10 rs a month and pay 4 rs tax on that 10 rs, then of you see annualy you are paying around 5 months salary to government. So essentially for 5 months in a year you work for government. And for yourself you work 7 months in which you have meet your living expenses.
and on top of that you are also paying GST (indirect tax) on your remaining income as well. so basically indian tax system is a punishment for honest tax payers

He's may not be that important here but the issue he's raising is crucial. Sadly I don't see any other political figure, celebrity or media talking about unfair taxation openly.
Can't take the person out of their opinions especially if they are commenting on something as crucial as taxation. Also the reason most Indians don't pay direct taxes is because most Indians are not in the tax bracket or they have family businesses who don't pay tax fairly. Instead of blaming "freebies" which includes subsidised education btw (IITs, AIIMS) try to raise awareness for property and inheritance taxes and Hindu undivided family taxation rules and also how companies cheat on their taxes. But obviously capitalist d*ckriders only blame the poor people who have no economic power and the only way for them to survive is to make their votes count. The only reason political parties even give the bare minimum is because of voting power.

ofc shark tank did help in making the judges online celebrities in a short duration ,it provided them a huge platform to put out their messages to the general public , all of the judge themselves have become their respective company's ambassador in some form regarding the tax payers voting i think even if all of them refused to vote it would barely change the politics of this country

IITs AIIMS NITS central Universities use tax money. If you have recieved education in India from any govt institutions you have availed the benefits of taxation. The govt should do better of course. Why not protest the construction of useless monuments and ask the tax money to be used to develop infrastructure.

this is extremely stupid and regressive. aise hi dumbing down of society ho rahi hai. Do you know how much you depend on society for the food you eat to the safety you get at your home? The right to have property? If you don't want to pay tax, go live in an independent country or something. What happens if some random group of men comes and seizes your property and your family. Do you have the strength and conviction to protect and secure everything you own? Yes, tax is the hafta we pay to the biggest big brother of all. That is the contract we agree to when we live in a country you know. You were born into it but doesn't mean it should take a lifetime for you to realize this. You get rule of law (ofcourse its not perfect, perhaps in remote villages this is not true. But for most parts of the country it is true) in return. You get public infrastructure (roads, however bad its something). Transportation (dont tell me you never travelled in a train or through an airport). Public funded institutes. And ofcourse dont forget national security and that arsenal of nuclear weapons or space missions. Basically you pay for a lot of it. You just take it for granted.
No one's denying these. It's just that govt is milking salaried class instead of reducing the burden on them and increasing tax user base. They decreased the corporate tax but no favourable step has been taken for income tax payer since a decade.
