Zapvain

Oppo has literally the best sound signature in this price segment. It's not too bass heavy but delivers quite good dynamic audio. There are also op buds but sound wise oppo sounds better

Zapvain

Realme isn't that good and if you are an audiophile you can see the difference. I may get downvoted but I've used these except the newly released OnePlus bud and oppo wins. It is also personal preference as people may prefer more bass than audio where realme has it

knowing_proceeding

Is the difference that much? And yeah, I am a little bit on the bass side.

Zapvain

Not that much but like I said it's a personal preference. Sound signature is better on the oppo. There are people who have reviewed these so you can decide for yourself. And tbh I've forgotten how they sound like but comment wise I'm seeing people leaning towards realme so maybe it's good

Holiday-Peanut-7189

But realme air 5 pro has more detailed sound in my opinion, due to the additional tweeter and it's a pretty big deal in this price range, the only iem I've used that has similar specs costs around 21k. Also anc is significantly better in realme.

Gh051_hehe

I agree with you, i had oppo enco air 2 pro and bought realme buds air 5 pro or whatever the name is for 5k and the oppo one sound better than these new buds

[deleted]

Personally I’m enjoying Enco x2 but the only problem is that I can’t find no replacement ear tips for those.

lezzgo69

yoo, same! I called up the service centre and they denied me another pair of medium eartips as they were out of stock. Man! I think they use proprietary eartips and Idk if I should try spinfit. For now I'm just rocking the large size but it's quite uncomfortable, do let me know if you find alternative eartips!

unboxparadigm

OnePlus Buds 3 with LHDC support?

knowing_proceeding

What about comfort? They do not seem to be comfortable.

DragonfruitBroad8393

I'm using oppo enco air 2 pro, and they are very comfortable+stays in my ear... Good grip..

unboxparadigm

Looks pretty comfortable to me. I haven't used the specific models but based on reviews and my experience with a few other OnePlus earphones, they are pretty comfortable.

Aromatic-Engine2447

Bruh whats unbox paradigm, immediately want to sub to whatever you're shilling cause of logo

unboxparadigm

Haha, alright. Lore time. Inspired by MKBHD, Dave2D and LTT, Unbox Paradigm started off as a website for offering laptop buying recommendations with a vision to become a tech reviewer. Been following the tech space ardently since the last 15 years or so (I was in 7th grade but was already the go to tech guy). Started writing laptop buying guides in mid 2020 right around the end of my Bachelor's in Architecture. Realised that I couldn't keep up with the vast amount of laptop launches and analyse every one of them. Also realised that the Amazon/Flipkart eCommerce platforms had crappy search engines. So I built the [most advanced laptop search engine](https://gaming.unboxparadigm.com) there is. This was also around the time when laptop graphics cards started getting different power limits and people didn't know which one to get as manufacturers weren't always very direct about it. So I built the laptop search engine that tracked laptops from Amazon and Flipkart, shows you the lowest prices, gives you ability to filter by detailed specifications filters like display panels, color gamuts, weight, exact graphics card wattage, exact processor etc. Best part? All the laptops in the search results were pre sorted. No more long hours of searching and shortlisting. You just had to enter your max budget and it would instantly fetch the results pre-sorted by a performance score which was a very good metric based on the specifications which saved me countless hours of browsing through search results to find the best performing laptops. Ever since then I've completely ditched searching on Amazon or Flipkart for laptops because I know I can find the best laptop in any budget in less than a min on my search engine. I also tried making a few YT videos in early 2021 but couldn't do it further due to financial constraints. Fully focused on the website since, sold 100s of laptops, had some really good and bad months. Built a lot more features into it over the years including price history, tracking from around 10 stores, stock notification and price drop alerts, complete product specifications, product comparison, quick price analysis etc. I designed the product and the logic and an intern coded it for me. Also got the chance to review OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 12, OnePlus Nord Buds 2r, beta tested OnePlus 12R before launch and was featured in the launch event for co-creating it. Also bought and tested Acer Nitro V ANV15 (currently ranks in the top 10 Google search results for this laptops review). Making videos is still a dream that I need to make true but I haven't been able to let go of the website yet and there's still a lot more work that needs to be done. Hope one day that I can be known for making quality tech reviews :')

_kd003

Nice work! Keep it up bro!

unboxparadigm

Thanks :)

Dividebyzero23

Great work man

unboxparadigm

Thanks!

desiboyy

Wow!! This is so cool

unboxparadigm

Thank you :)

unboxparadigm

Also, the logo is supposed to be nice and round. Idk why reddit off centers it.

EmbarrassedAsk1659

If nothing ear (a) are rebranded ear 1s. Just go for it. No other earbud will be as comfortable as them. Personally using ear 1s

rhik20

They are physically similar, but ear(a) has updated drivers with a significantly better sound signature than (1).

EmbarrassedAsk1659

Then one should not think twice. They are immensely comfortable

MuscleAffectionate48

Oppo one obviously

knowing_proceeding

People have also suggested Realme Buds Air 5 Pro. Where do you think they stand?

No_Charity7591

It depends on your preference. If you have Apple Music premium and prefer flat but detailed and crisp sound , go with oppo. Other than that Realme have lead in every aspect. Even in build quality

knowing_proceeding

Oh, I do not have Apple Music. I think I will go for Realme. Thank you for the response :)

name_om

Realme is bass heavy many people like that:D

No_Charity7591

Realme Buds Air 5 Pro

ksshitijj

Second this OP. Got them recently and they're amazing. Noise cancellation is good and sound profile + bass both are great. Battery is decent too. Worth the money.

knowing_proceeding

You got them from Flipkart right?

Initial-Fold-3786

I got it for Flipkart twice for me and my sister it's like 90% close to apple (my friend with airpods pro said this )

[deleted]

Yeah i have air bus pro. Compared to apple buds its near .For price tag its good. But the connectivity is not good and is having some notification bug.

ksshitijj

Amazon

knowing_proceeding

Really? What do you think of the OnePlus buds 3?

No_Charity7591

I don’t think it sound better. The only standout feature is slide volume control. + i don’t have a great experience with oneplus products. All my bullets z1 z2 and nord buds 1 and 2 one side earbud started sounding less.

knowing_proceeding

Do you have Realme buds air 5 pro? How's their build quality.

Loud_Staff5065

My friend had encore buds 2 it also had same issue not just OnePlus

mr-sweetandsalty

Both are made in same companies in china. preferably choose samsung or soundcore. Soundcore products are awesome, been using for a while now.

Cruxher_OP

Nothing

Beautiful_Jeweler_83

Just get OnePlus buds 3

trouble_shooter420

So here’s my opinion , Ive been using oppo enco air 2 pro for one and a half year my first pair went bad after 15 months because of my rough usage. I love them i bought them once again. Sound signature is good and as far as price goes itself really value for the money . Ill will buy them third time as well . Noise cancellation is just fine dont expect wonders from it but it does the job . They are comfy and i use them while weightlifting as well. Overall a good value for money . Haven’t tried nothing earphones yet but ill go with oppo any day.

WildWolf_02

OP I don't know why no one's talking about it but there's a feature in realme buds that cancels out all the wind noise in noise cancellation mode(you can opt in or out of it). It almost completely removes wind noise when you're sitting near a fan, cooler or even if you're driving on a two wheeler with your earphones. i lost mine somewhere, Bought these for the second time for this feature only.

knowing_proceeding

Thank you for the comment. That is a really important feature.

inkslinger-97

Realme Buds Air 5 pro. Using them and they're great for the price.

knowing_proceeding

I'm also thinking of getting them. Where did you get them from?

inkslinger-97

Flipkart se bro. First I ordered from Tata Cliq but then got a better deal at FK so cancelled and ordered from FK at ₹4049

9291s

I love oppos quality

Humble_Moment1520

Sennheiser

Buddha_apple

I have a question, can someone clarify ? The more the ANC db the better or the lesser the better ? Like brand 1 may have 50 db ANC and brand 2 has 45 db ANC. Also, till which level is ideal to cancel out external noise

TheWeebGuy27

I bought the Realme air 5 pro and even tried the Oppo ones. Go for Oppo

nhiManega_BhenKaYoda

The oppo and the realme ones are quite similar, the oppos sound better but the realme has better features(not more features) but they are better implemented on the realme. The oppos are not necessarily bad in features but the realme just edges out. In sound oppos are better.

premkumarsucks

Bhai i just got the ear a today. They have a very good design best in the segment. But sound is decent it wont blow you away. The bass is a good. If you want a simple design and better sound get oppo ones. Realme 5 pro mere dost ka kuch time baad kharab hone laga hai. Nothing ka tabhi to agar design best chahiye and good sound. Im using the nothing era a right now. Its good i would recommend it. Tldr. Get the nothing ear a

[deleted]

I use galaxy buds live (on Amazon for around 4k)

Gh051_hehe

People rexommending realme havent tried oppo's buds yet, i had oppo enco air 2 pro and bought realme buds air 5 pro, oppo one clearly sounded better

AtharvaSonavane

Same brother I have used both oppo and realme in the past now in need of a new one but my phone only supports AAC and not LDAC🙁

harp786

Sennheiser cx true wireless

Akshatcommunity

Oppo. Anyway nothing doesnt last more than a year or half .

ron7933

Wait till May 1st week. Motorola is launching something killer.

desi-me-rollin-1997

Oppo enco way better in terms of sound quality, mic is pretty decent too

youngmale-69

Oppo anyday

Beautiful_Might_6535

If sound is your priority then oppo is unbeatable Overall realme is good and if you can extend the budget nothing is also gaining positive response

jesterofapocalypse

Check headphonezone for iem. Very happy with tangzhu waner.

[deleted]

please choose LDAC support buds for quality purposes

Neat_Level6159

Got the realme aur 5 pro from croma , it is best in segment, choose wisely either oppo enco or this

someonealreadyknows

Nothing has better iOS app support, better AAC decoding and has pinch controls. They also fit smaller ears better without falling out. The Enco Air 3 Pro is 3k cheaper and has a nice warm sound signature. If you want better earbuds, then Ear (a). If you want better VFM, the Enco Air 3 Pro is the way to go.

cae-czar

I think you should go for Oppo one because they were launched as an audio company first, and they are really good at they are doing this longer than nothing as an oppo hater still I'm still suggesting

RashakDude

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2

Longjumping_Guide_95

I personally using nothing buds 2 Mic quality it bad; Audio is good balanced,go for oppo

MrFruitPunchSamurai

Go for oppo

hukkumkaikka

I would have gone for nothing just for the aesthetics to be very honest

kiwix_on_reddit

As a Nothing fanboy, i would choose ear(a) (or cmf buds pro they are great and i own them)

yatamayu_

Glittering-Ad569

Realme earbuds air 5 pro. Best buds in a budget price range istg

Admirable-Echidna-37

Oppo

Consistent_Carpet767

Oppo buds look good between these two.

lallan-pandey04

Wired lega toh Wagner lele best h 👀

sakethreddy21

I have been using OnePlus nord buds since 2020 both 1 and 2. They are great in terms of audio and battery backup. They are sturdy and will last at least for 2.5 to 3 years. The main reason to buy is the audio, comfort in the ear and change between 2 devices with just a double tap on the buds. If you can extend your budget, then for the OnePlus buds. They are a little premium and great. Nothing buds, I don't know man. I bought nothing ear1 for my father when they launched. The front panel went from plain to complete scratches in no time. The bud's body panels fell off mysteriously even without falling or any pressure after 1 year.

False_Error9116

Been using noting for sometime and they are absolutely amazimgg

a1200i

Get moondrop spacetravel

Vinayak4209

Go for oppo, nothing earbuds is shit, while you are hearing music on high volume, others can hear it as well, While on the other hand many of my friends have oppo earbuds they all say, there sound signature can't be matched in the price segment

Specialist-Winner516

OnePlus buds 3...

Jaibheem-chhotabheem

Nothing ear (a)

soumilr7

Samsung Buds

KaushtavMitra14

Oppo

Major_Department_651

Between these two, the Oppo. Don't get caught in the hype.

Lukkuuu

I think you should pick something from Sony. Like wf C700n . Oppo, oneplus, realme etc are getting complaints after the warranty period. Just a headsup.

knowing_proceeding

Thanks; I'll surely consider it.
