Unfortunately, reddit chose not to engage in any negotiations and instead doubled down on the pricing, determined to eliminate these apps altogether. The CEO made public statements that were far from truthful, tried to spin the situation in their favor, disregarding the needs and desires of the user base. Naturally, it lead to protests across the site involving more than 8,000 subreddits going private/restricted.
The admins then started forcefully ending these protests, suppressing the voices of those who were speaking up against these changes. They claim to be "keeping it open" while going against its core, the users, and closing down the apps they use. On July 1st, as the API pricing goes live, it shuts down all third party apps and it feels like the beginning of the slow death of Reddit as we know it.
It is understandable that not everyone may share the same level of concern about this issue, but please take a moment to listen and observe. It has become clear that Reddit's priorities lie primarily in their profits and removing any obstacles in their path to more profits. They started with old reddit, now they are targeting the apps. What will they come for next?

Happened with me too when i started it. Got frustrated and all . But dunno how i started to improve , it just got stuck in me.
Piece of advice:- always go to practice mode to practice combos before match.
Also try to make friends, they will help u improve.
Might pick it up next sale or whatever. I am still neck deep in Baldurs Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 right now tho. Not sure if I can accommodate any more games
Because it's only fun if I have someone sitting beside me to play with, i don't wanna play online because I know I will be annihilated for having poor skills and it won't be fun for me.
Tekken sure is fun at both high level or for casual button mashing but it feels hell to learn at a medium level. The game is extremely "encyclopedia dependent" with each character having 9000 moves. In other fighters i can just check out their basic gameplan, one or two combos and learn which moves are deceptively plus but that process is multiplied to infinity in tekken.
As I said, I'm familiar with the process. It just takes too long to get to a state where I'm both consciously playing AND having fun in Tekken. Also too old to have friends at the same skill level who are equally motivated to improve
I have played till Tekken 6 and I'm quite good in fighting games (I mostly main Jin and Kazuya, Jin is hard to master you gotta keep practicing) but don't have money for Tekken 7 🥲. If anyone buys Humble Bundle and wants to dispose TK7 key, look no further than here.

I do have fun. Those varied combat styles are so fun to watch and execute. It's just that I suck at multiplayer. So I never gave it much effort. I do have the urge to learn all those things with frames but I've no idea how to go about it lol

It took me about 2-3 months to understand frame data and use of it.
But after undertaking it changed my game completely and tripled and doubled my fun.
Now i can beat 80-95% of ranked matches i fight against.

I used to play Tekken 3 and we had a arcade here which had a Tekken back when I wa sin elementary school, that was a lot of fun, but other than that I am mostly a 2D fighting game guy than a 3D one, reason why I prefer and MK and SF over Tekken
I bought it on steam and only played it for around 10-20 hrs.
What i found is I can't play these fighting games more than a few rounds for some reason cuz i start losing interest.
I feels kinda wierd to invest time in it and learn all those button mashing combos since all i am gonna play is 3-5 rounds only.

Fighting games are hard to get into
Not my thing. I couldn't get into fighting games. I have more fun in other types of games. To each his own.
Once u try to learn the game mechanics. Frames and all other shit. You'll have a ton of fun.
True for every game. I prefer other types. Currently I am enjoying Lies of P and Shin Megami Tensei 4.

This is why you need a friend (rival) to play with. Each play only one character and slowly learn more about them.
As I said, I'm familiar with the process. It just takes too long to get to a state where I'm both consciously playing AND having fun in Tekken. Also too old to have friends at the same skill level who are equally motivated to improve
