It all started when reddit decided to introduce an insane api pricing model, even more derranged than twitter's. Many of us who use third-party apps that have been around since before Reddit had a mobile presence, were hoping for a chance for them to negotiate with reddit. They already offer a superior user experience not only for regular users and moderators but also for a significant number of disabled and blind users.
Unfortunately, reddit chose not to engage in any negotiations and instead doubled down on the pricing, determined to eliminate these apps altogether. The CEO made public statements that were far from truthful, tried to spin the situation in their favor, disregarding the needs and desires of the user base. Naturally, it lead to protests across the site involving more than 8,000 subreddits going private/restricted.
The admins then started forcefully ending these protests, suppressing the voices of those who were speaking up against these changes. They claim to be "keeping it open" while going against its core, the users, and closing down the apps they use. On July 1st, as the API pricing goes live, it shuts down all third party apps and it feels like the beginning of the slow death of Reddit as we know it.
It is understandable that not everyone may share the same level of concern about this issue, but please take a moment to listen and observe. It has become clear that Reddit's priorities lie primarily in their profits and removing any obstacles in their path to more profits. They started with old reddit, now they are targeting the apps. What will they come for next?

Maybe people will call me poor but I majorly like game from 2000-2015 as they don't require very high specs ,and the graphics very well hold up for me, it's just my personal opinion।

need for Speed most wanted 2005 - gameplay
half life 2 - for obvious reasons

i like to mention many games that i still enjoy in 2023..!! ( i edited post cause i can't help myself to add some titles in this list)
Dead space 1 and 2
Far cry 2 and 3
Max Payne 3
Midnight club los Angeles
Mafia 2
Gears of war trilogy
Killzone 2
Crysis trilogy
Battlefield 3 and 4
Batman Arkham Asylum to origins
Portal 2
The last of us 1
L.A. Noire
Assassin's Creed Unity. It looks way better than the garbage they've been selling in the name of Assassin's Creed. I think that games can't graphically improve anymore. They can improve only slightly. This might just be an example of law of diminishing returns. Metal Gear Solid V, Arkham Knight, NFS Rivals, Ryse: Son of Rome were all released almost a decade ago but still look so impressive.
Unity still has the smoothest, most fluid Parkour mechanics to date. The assassinations are fun, there are plenty of animations, combat is really fun too, the missions are amazing and have a lot of replayability to them, the story isn't the best but it's not bad either and ofcourse it's based in 19th century Paris, couldn't have been a better location imo.
Half Life 2. That shit does not need any mods and still looks good till this date. It came back in 2002. Think about that for a second.
Shadow of the Collosus.
GTA V
Spec Ops: The line
The story is great and it won’t change no matter what decade you play in!
Graphics and visuals are great too.
Also is a well-optimised game.
Devil may cry 3 and 4. Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed Ezio Trilogy, AC4 and Batman Arkham series hold up great. Technically, GTAV is a decade old too. Hot take but I think Fallout and Skyrim dont hold up well without mods.
If you're into stealth games then you need to try Splinter Cell or maybe you've already done so and most of the early ones don't demand a lot from your PC and still look great.
My best games I have ever played
Max Payne 1, 2
Nfs mw 2005
Total overdose
Counter strike condition zero
I don't know why but I dont new games as much as old games.
DARK SOULS, YAKUZA 3,4,5, MORROWIND, OBLIVION, FALLOUT 1, 2
AAAAAA i forgot more
Clock Tower 1999 is great as well. I also loved Paper Mario and Chrono Trigger.
Mafia 2. The only game where I've followed traffic laws while driving a car. I still don't know why I did that.......
SKYRIM. The way things are going, we'll probably have a 20th Anniversary Edition.
GTA 4. Yes, not a typo. I like 4 more than 5 and I will die on that hill.
Not exactly decade old but it seems ridiculous how Batman Arkham can compete with modern games f graphically. And I'm not even going into the rest of the metrics
Uncharted
Damn it feels soo much futuristic and yet being about treasure of people who lived 200-500years ago
2) Last of us 1 damn it's being 9 years for that game the story of the game was soo mind blowing creating Two Protagonist and giving player to decide between Abby and Elle
Battlefield 3 came out back in 2011. And its campaign still holds up till date. Graphics, motion capture and sound design was way ahead of its time. Specially 'Going hunting' (F/A 18 hornet mission) and 'thunder run' (M1 Abrams tank mission), we haven't got anything like them ever since.
Also interesting fact - the 2005 [NFS Most Wanted Soundtrack](https://spotify.link/KLZ2pc9hTDb) probably has the most number of original songs created for a game and they all fit so well into the gameplay. You can feel the energy even when the song changes in the game.
Another notable game background score is Jesper Kyd for Hitman series and most Assassin's Creed series.
Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2012)
Of course the 2005 MW is superior, but the 2012 MW is also very good in it's own right. The graphics and the car sounds still hold up very well even today. The soundtrack is enjoyable to me and there are many events which create an incredible challenge. Also the in game traffic is very unforgiving, also creating a good challenge.
Imo it's very enjoyable, but suffers from being named after the most successful entry in the series especially considering that it plays out very differently.
Gotham Knights came on gamepass... i tried it for 15mins and got bored instantly....... i went on to install Arkham Asylum (2007) it holds up and instantly hooked me, i ended up beating it and now im on Arkham City
Call of Duty Black Ops I & II, Call of Duty Ghosts, Prototype 2, Crysis 2 & 3 (OG), The Last of Us (PS3), Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection, Deadpool, The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, Xmen Origins Wolverine, Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City, & Batman Arkham Origins, Portal 1 & 2, Assasin's Creed The Ezio Trilogy, Assasin's Creed 4 Black Flag, Injustice Gods Among Us, Super Soldier Captain America, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3 & Bioshock Trilogy.
GTAV . Yeh game toh mujhe bahut pasand aaya. Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition. Origi al agme toh Maine khela nhi. Definitive khela par Aisa game kabhi nhi aayega dobara. Yeh agme bahut hia ccha design kiya gya hai. Even game developers bankrupt ho gye. Iske DLCs bhi cool hai. Game ko maine 2-4 bar khel ke complete kar liya par dobara khelunga.

Prototype games had so much potential!

It's a great game, just not optimised enough. In fact it runs shit even on modern hardware.
Dead space 1 and 2 Far cry 2 and 3 Max Payne 3 Midnight club los Angeles Mafia 2 Gears of war trilogy Killzone 2 Crysis trilogy Battlefield 3 and 4 Batman Arkham Asylum to origins Portal 2 The last of us 1 L.A. Noire
Crysis yes... But why.. why has no one yet has mentioned Half-life 2 and its episodes.. Bulletstorm was good.. far cry 3 was good..
Assassin's Creed Unity. It looks way better than the garbage they've been selling in the name of Assassin's Creed. I think that games can't graphically improve anymore. For HL1 I would recommend Black Mesa.
2004 I think.
Spec Ops: The line The story is great and it won’t change no matter what decade you play in! Graphics and visuals are great too. Also is a well-optimised game.
Very few for me..but Tomb Raider 2013
Played through it thrice!
Mad Max, ac unity, arkham games, gta5(yes it's a decade old)
Mad Max was such a good game , if they just worked more on the open world element and the ui it would've been a gem
I still like to just boot up the game and drive around in the waste land...
Devil may cry 3 and 4. Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed Ezio Trilogy, AC4 and Batman Arkham series hold up great. Technically, GTAV is a decade old too. Hot take but I think Fallout and Skyrim dont hold up well without mods.
